Race 1
(1) IN THE HUDDLE was sharp from the 8-hole to grab the victory in his Saratoga finale; can top this group from the rail. (3) VERSADO rallied strongly to nail down the placing last time out. (5) BETTOR ROCK ON N is knocking at the door based on his last four third place finishes in a row.
Race 2
(2) WILD SMILE returns to a flat mile and draws door number two. With a favorable trip he can greet the cameraman for pictures. (6) IL MAGO led most of the way but was caught in deep stretch last out; the controlling speed. (3) P MAC ATTACK Easy victory upstate recently puts this guy in the mix.
Race 3
(5) TOATSMYGOATS did not race badly at Philly and now this gelding moves back to Yonkers where he was a very game third three trips ago; gets the call. (3) HIDE ME AWAY Maryland invader could get involved against these and has a better post; player. (6) SHINOBU HANOVER will need a better trip to make an impact; possible.
Race 4
(1) SUES NIGHT OUT Mare did not fire last time around but the good news is she leaves post five for the fence and that might be the ticket that will bring her back to the winner's circle. (4) LO HOLD A MOONBEAN came outside to run down her competition recently; threat again. (3) IT'S A MIRACLE made a tough break at the start in her Batavia finale but this gal is much better than her last flop; can atone.
Race 5
(6) ROLL ON seems to be heading in the right direction missing glory by a length last time out and he could top these with Bartlett at the helm. (1) MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT gets post relief and that should help his cause; we shall see. (4) SANTANNA ONE take a slight drop in class; not out of this.
Race 6
(6) FLEM N EM N was sharp in victory against lesser last time around so he has every right to take another despite the rise in class. (1) BET THE MOON moves to the fence and gets the services of Bartlett; main danger. (5) FLASH LAUXMONT put in a good effort missing the victory by 3/4 length and Brennan knows this pacer; watch out.
Race 7
(4) MR BLISSFULL was very wide last out and that might have compromised his chances. Maybe post four will get this 5-year-old back into the winner's circle. (5) BONFIRE BLISS has put in two good seconds in a row so clearly he is knocking at the door; threat. (1) LACHIE MAGUIRE N gets post relief and Bartlett has the drive; beware.
Race 8
(5) REGIL ELEKTRA Pacing mare gets out of the 8-hole and just missed glory two starts ago by a neck; can make a quick turnaround against these. (8) SELL A BIT N has put in two sharp efforts and she must be considered in all of the exotic slots. (7) LISPATTY was late on the scene to grab the score in her last try.
Race 9
(4) TOTALLY KISSED leaves Canada for the Hilltop and the last time we saw this gelding he was a very game second on August 18th; at his best he could be the boss. (3) COPPER COAST A has wheeled off three straight victories and clearly must be respected in here. (5) R CAAN came very wide to run down the competition in his recent outing.
Race 10
(6) CAVIART CARI ANN flashed good speed in her last start. Mare will need a relaxing trip in order to get the job done; quite possible. (1) DO YOUR JOB was sitting in the pocket most of the way but she came up a little short missing glory by a neck; big threat. (4) GADSDEN HANOVER was sharp in victory against lesser last time around; must be considered in the exotic picture.
Race 11
(3) PLATOON SEELSTER's last start was not that bad given the fact he was stuck on the fence most of the way. At his best and with a better trip he can make tonight a winning one. (1) RED HOT HERBIE blasted out of the 8-hole to the front but ran out of gas approaching the wire last time out; big player. (2) NEWCASTLE gets serious post relief and that might help his cause.
Race 12
(2) SHESJUSTADELIGHT N Mare seems to be the class of this group and has the right to put her best forward; the pick. (1) LIGHTNING MACH N is knocking at the door based on her last two trips to the post. (6) LAKEISHA HALL rallied strongly to miss glory by a head; player.
