(1) MANHATTAN BENNY just did not have enough gas in the tank and held the placing recently; retains the rail slot and he does have every right to boss this group all the way. (5) ROCK ICON was sent right to the front and never looked back for all the glory; merits R.E.S.P.E.C.T. (8) DUEL IN THE SUN put in a sharp qualifier here on 8/25 however the post hurts tonight be he is very capable of making some noise.
Race 2
(4) ARDIE B SPEED takes a drop in class and this should help his cause to get the job done with a favorable trip. (3) MACH ONE came close to making last week a winning one; threat. (2) WINDS OF CHANGE took them down the road recently for the score; consider.
Race 3
(3) MESSI N was very game for the place spot in his last try. Gelding appears to be heading in the right direction and he can top these if he brings his A-game to the table. (1) DURANT gets serious post relief and he could be a handful with a return to his 8/14 & 8/4 scores respectably. (4) CANBEC KINGAZIMIR beat lesser company in his latest; could have a say in the outcome.
Race 4
(5) MILLIONDOLLAR WAVE seems to be knocking at the door based on his last three trips to the post; prime contender for win honors. (1) TWOMACSONESHADOW has been in the exacta picture in his last four outings; main danger. (4) ACE OF CLUBS will need a better trip in order for him to contend with these; possible.
Race 5
(4) TJ BLAST moves down the ladder and he does have fine speed; might be tough to reel in. (2) PERCYS Z TAM closed well to miss glory by a neck last out; player. (1) CAPOZZO should do much better from the rail slot; do not overlook.
Race 6
(7) NEWBORN SASSY did not fire in her latest but she is much better than in her last try so I will give her another go at it for win honors. Eight-year-old miss (4) MACH IT A PAR did flash speed in her last one but tonight she will need a favorable trip if she going to make an impact. (5) LISPATTY was sent down the road last time around for the victory; not out of this.
Race 7
(5) VORST did not have the best of trips last out but this mare is very capable of returning to her winning ways with a well-judged run. (1) PASULTIMATEDELITE N gets serious post relief and that should help her chances; threat. (3) PISTOL PACKIN MAMA drops, draws well and gets the services of Stratton; watch out.
Race 8
(5) ROCKSTAR ANGEL A was a good third in her Pocono finale and now she moves back to Yonkers where this seems to be a better spot for her to greet the camera operator for pictures. Based on her last two tries (1) SAIL TO THE BEACH is heading in the right direction; consider. (2) CALL ME QUEEN BE gets post relief and she is on the dropdown so clearly she merits R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
Race 9
(2) LONE RAIDER seems to be a much better spot and it is good to see Stratton is keeping the faith; threat for win honors. (3) TRACK MASTER D has wheeled off three straight victories so he might be quite tough to reel in. (1) CHUCARO ACERO BC takes a slight drop in class and gets a better post to boot; not out of this.
Race 10
(4) DONGAL RUNDLSCRK N did show signs of life in her last try. Mare can make tonight a winning one with a well-judged run. (1) TWINKLE was sent down the road in her latest for all the glory; big threat. Consistent mare (5) HOOVES ON FIRST has hit the board in her last five outings; big player.
Race 11
(4) ANNABETH was quite good against Open foes last time around. Mare is sharp and could be ready to make tonight a winning one. (1) MEDUSA got the job done via the pocket route last time out; consider. Based on her last four starts (5) MAGIC FORCES is knocking at the door; watch out.
