Race 1
(2) MR BLISSFULL should find these to his liking as he catches a weak group; gets the call with Bartlett at the controls. (5) BIG TURN ON seems to be knocking at the door based on his last two tries; player. (3) CARD SHOCK could grab a share if he gets a favorable trip.
Race 2
Will take a shot with (8) PIECE OF THE ROCK to bring his A-game to the table. Veteran has not raced badly as he was an even third last out; win threat. Consistent pacer (2) SWIFT AS A SHADOW has been in the exacta picture in all of his eight trips to the post; could be tough to reel in. (7) ZIGGY SKY could not get past the winner in his latest but was a good second; watch out.
Race 3
(2) SECRECY did not fire against tougher last time around but the good news is he moves down in class, gets a cozy post and Brennan has the assignment; the pick. (5) PROVEN DESIRE took charge at the start and never looked back for all the glory in his Saratoga finale; consider. (1) SIR MACHALOT was sent down the road in his recent outing for the victory and he retains the rail slot for tonight’s event; not out of this.
Race 4
(6) HORSING AROUND’s night was done when he broke at the start last time out but he does fit well in here; with a well-judged run, he can mow these down for victory number four. Based on his last two trips to the post (3) SHOW THE FASHION is moving in the right direction; threat. (4) BUGSY MAGUIRE did not have the best of trips last time around but he could make a quick turnaround with his return to door number four where he did get the job done four starts back.
Race 5
(7) ALLSTAR PARTNER was uncovered most of the trip and tired badly in his last try; should have some pace to chase and with the right trip he could make tonight a winning one. (2) MILLIONDOLLAR WAVE just missed the score in his last start; he does have tactical speed and he appears to be the main danger. (1) ARDIE B SPEED stays on the fence where he was second best recently; watch out.
Race 6
(5) MADE OF JEWELS AS last two outings were dull but the good news is she gets a better draw and that might be the ticket she needs to get back into the winner’s circle; capable. (4) CAVIART CHERIE blasted out of the gate from door number seven on her way to victory against most of these; dangerous. (3) MAGIC FORCES gets a better draw and she is heading in the right direction so by far she is not out of this.
Race 7
(6) DONGAL RUNDLSCRK N moves up in class off two good outings so expect her to improve if she brings her A-game to the table; the pick. (2) ITTY BITTY lost glory by a neck last out and she does fit well in here; main danger. (3) DELIGHTFULMEMPHISN leaves the Open ranks and this seems to be a better spot for her to contend with these; factor.
Race 8
(4) BETTORHAVEANOTHER has put in three good efforts at Pocono and now she takes her trade to Yonkers for team Brennan/Burke; could take this group to task for all the cash. (5) AGENT Q came wide and mowed them down for the victory in her Pocono finale and now she makes her return to the Hilltop where she has done quite well here; big threat. (1) ANNABETH showed signs of life from the rail recently with a third-place finish and now she retains the fence; do not overlook.
Race 9
(1) DEUCES FOR CHARITY catches a weak group and the good news is she moves to the fence so she has every right to put her best foot forward. (2) ALWAYS GIGGLING was late on the scene to grab the show spot in her last trip to the post so expect her to improve off that effort. (3) BLACKNSWEET ADDA A raced evenly for fourth money last out but she will need to revert to her July 17 victory in order for her to make an impact with these.
Race 10
(8) FEEL THE NEED A is on a roll scoring his second consecutive victory last time out. Veteran gets a tough post tonight but given her excellent form, the hat trick is not out of the question. (1) INDY INGOT could not get past the top pick in their last outing; has every opportunity to turn the tables on that rival from the rail; win threat. Based on his last two outings (3) JK HEAVEN SENT is knocking at the door. So by far, he is not out of this if he gets the right kind of trip.
Race 11
(3) MORE THAN MANY gets post relief and she does have the positional speed to grab a spot in the early stages; could be the boss over this group with a well-timed run. (2) HOOVES ON FIRST has been quite sharp in her last three starts and moving to door number two should put her right in the thick of it; big threat. (7) ECLIPSE ME N has wheeled off two straight victories and her last one was against Open foes upstate; watch out despite the outside draw.
Race 12
(4) DEWAR N SODA did not get the best of trips as the chalk last out but she fits well in here. If the right trip comes her way, the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (5) DUDESALADY leaves the 8-hole for a much better post; improvement expected. (3) ALL ABOUT MADI gets post relief and that should help her cause.
