(3) MADIBA MAGIC N moves down in class and this gelding has the speed to boss these at his best. (2) ASTOR gets serious post relief and should be a factor in here. (1) HES A LOCK draws the rail and gets Brennan; watch out.
Race 2
(4) PERSEVERANT showed life in his last try and good to see Sears keeping the faith; the pick to move forward. (3) DOJEA SOLO has fine speed and fits well in here; big threat. (1) SANTIAGO STYLE was sharp in the pocket for win honors two starts back and now draws the fence; not out of this.
Race 3
(4) PASS THEM BY N broke at the start as the favorite last time out. 9-year-old is 0 for 16 this year but clearly he fits well against these; can boss these with a favorable trip. (6) CAPOZZO came outside through the stretch but could not get to the winner in his latest; main danger. (3) HAVE A PARODI did flash speed last time out and Brennan stays with this pacer; beware.
Race 4
(2) DIAMOND COWBOY was on the lead most of the way but tired in deep stretch recently. Gelding stays in same condition and based on his last outing, he might be heading in the right direction; gets the call. (6) SMART ROKKER took them wire to window in his Saratoga finale; threat for the repeat. (4) DEMOCRACY N has put in two nice efforts in a row so he must be considered in the exotics picture.
Race 5
(1) FLASH LAUXMONT did not fire in his last start but the good news is he's moving to the 1-hole and gets the services of Mr. Brennan. With a well judged drive he will make tonight a winning one. (3) MAXI BON showed life against tougher recently; solid contender. (4) QUICK ART flashed good early zip last out; should have a say in the outcome.
Race 6
(3) I SAID DIAMONDS finally leaves the far outside slot and she is good enough to greet the cameraman for pictures. (4) LISPATTY has been quite consistent hitting the board in her last six tries; main danger. (7) REGIL ELEKTRA is on a roll scoring in her last three starts and she will be right in the mix with these.
Race 7
(4) LYRA was uncovered most of the way and tired in the stretch drive last time around. Mare knows how to get the job done scoring two trips ago and Brennan sticks with her; the pick. (5) LIVE ODDS was late on the scene to grab the show spot last out; could move forward. (1) KAMWOOD LAUGHTER N is back on the rail where she got the job done at this level; beware.
Race 8
(7) BROWN BRINNY put in a fine run down the lane missing glory by a length. Mare seems to have a fondness for the Hilltop and she could get the job done with a favorable trip. (2) MOSQUITO BLUE CHIP gets serious post relief and that might help her cause; maybe. (1) SWEET BET retains the rail slot and with some luck she can be right in the thick of it.
Race 9
(2) SECRETS OUT N says bye-bye to the 8-hole and draws much better tonight plus Bartlett has the assignment again. Has the tactical speed to put this pacing mare right back into the winner's circle; we shall see. (1) ACEFOURTYFOUR ALEX has scored her last two trips to the post against lesser company; player from the fence. (3) TRUTH AND LIBERTY tired in the stretch drive in her Pocono finale but she has a fine 2017 resume; must be considered against these.
Race 10
(4) ROCKN RUBY N moves back to her winning level and draws door number four. Pacing miss can top these at her best. (1) IDEAL NUGGETS gets post relief and has every right to make some serious noise. (3) CHEYENNE ROBIN is knocking at the door based on her last two outings; watch out.
Race 11
(1) GYPSY LEATHER was sent down the road in his last trip for all the glory. Gelding appears to be heading in the right direction and now he moves to the fence; could overpower these for the repeat. (7) SPINARAMA closed strongly to nail down the place spot last time out; big threat. (5) LEGION OF BOOM Invader from the Meadowlands rallied nicely to grab the show spot recently; not out of this by far.
Race 12
(3) FOR THE LADIES N 8-year-old mare seems to be back to her winning self based on her last three outings; must be respected for win honors. (2) VENUS DELIGHT should be a perfect spot to make some damage against this group; dangerous. (4) STONEBRIDGE QUEST put in a good effort for place money last time around; solid contender.
