(1) INSPIRATION VIEW should appreciate the move to the fence and it is good to see Bartlett with the assignment; the pick. (2) PREJUDICE is knocking at the door based on his last two trips to the post. (5) AMERICAN ISLAND could be in the mix with a favorable trip.
Race 2
If you toss out (4) GRAMMY WINNER’s last try, this trotting miss is good as any in here; can take this at her best. (3) MASSIVE SOLUTION got the job done via the pocket in his Philly finale; consider. (7) CHAPTER AND RUTH flashed good speed in his latest; post hurts but he is capable.
Race 3
(5) TRACK MASTER D came close to getting his picture taken last out at Saratoga; could be tough to reel in if he gets a perfect trip. (3) ARDIE B SPEED showed good early zip at Philly last time around but tired in deep stretch; factor. (1) DOREL gets post relief and that should help his cause.
Race 4
(2) R CAAN has been quite consistent at the $30k claiming ranks and gets a better post to work with; gets the call. (7) CHEYENNE JEFFREY has been on the board in his last four starts; contender despite the move to door number seven. (3) SPORTS BETTOR draws better and he could have a say in the outcome.
Race 5
(2) BANDOL ROSE led every step of the way in her last start at Philly; now she moves her trade to the Hilltop and gets a solid post; stands to keep on her winning ways. (4) APERFECTRUBY pulled out of the pocket for the score at this level last time around; will be very tough indeed. (7) SHAWNEE BEAUTY seems to pick up checks but she cannot seal the deal; not out of this.
Race 6
(2) LISPATTY gets a much better post and pacing miss does have good speed; could boss these if she brings her A-game to the table. (7) NEWBORN SASSY just got up for win honors in her last attempt; merits respect despite the move to the 7-hole. Based on her last four tries (3) MEDUSA is knocking at the door; watch out.
Race 7
(3) CERTIFIED IDEAL rallied to grab the fourth spot in her last trip to the post, so her latest might be an indication she is ready to put her best foot forward. (2) ITTY BITTY gets serious post relief and she does have the tactical speed that puts her in the ballpark with these; threat. (5) GINA GRACE N has put in three consecutive good efforts so this mare could make some noise.
Race 8
(1) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE leaves the 8-hole for the fence and she does have the positional speed to work out a trip; should make her presence felt. (2) BETABCOOL N raced evenly in her last try missing the score by a neck so she appears to be a major player. (3) DUDESALADY did not have the best of trips in her last start but she does has five victories this year; could move forward.
Race 9
(2) ANNAPOLIS HALL put in a mild rally for the show spot in his last trip; can make tonight a winning one with a better-timed run. (3) KEYSTONE CHARGER was second best in his last start at this level; main danger. (5) PRINCE OF MINTO has three second-place finishes in a row and that puts this trotting gelding right in the mix.
Race 10
(2) WISHY WASHY GIRL was very game from door number eight last out to grab the place spot; now she moves to the 2-hole and she does have excellent speed; figures to be prominent from the start once again. (5) SKINNY DIPPER rallied strongly to nail down the second spot recently at Vernon; big threat. (4) CHANGE THE RULZ N has put in four good efforts in a row and her last trip was against better; watch out.
Race 11
(5) THE LAST CHAPTER did not fire against tougher last out but the good news is he is back to a winning level; if he returns to his 5/24 victory the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (3) MR POWERS has been solid in his last three starts and that makes him a prime contender against these. (2) SOUTHWIND CRUZE moves to door number two and that might be the ticket he needs to make his return to the winner’s circle; merits respect.
Race 12
(7) SELL A BIT N takes the plunge in class and she does have five victories this year; despite the outside slot, she stands to improve if she brings her A-game to the table. (3) CULINARY DELIGHT N did not race badly in her last start and she was facing open foes upstate; respect. Ohio invader (2) SAFE FROM TERROR is one of the expected speeds and she could make her presence felt against this group.
