MEET STATS: 67 - 182 / $329.00 (-$35.00)
BEST BETS: 10 - 17 / $29.20 (-$4.80)
SPOT PLAYS: 4 - 17 / $16.90 (-$17.10)

BEST BET: OCEANIA (10th)
SPOT PLAY: STEVE SAID (2nd)

Race 1 - 12500CLM Pace
(1) UF ROCKIN DRAGON filled the time while Yonkers was dark by racing well in a comparable class at the Meadowlands. Good effort at this level in Westchester on 5-21 and retained Bartlett over several others (co-owned by his wife). Short price from the pole. (2) NORTHERN ASSASSIN A appears to have been in against tough foes two back and then got parked most of the way last time, so I'm throwing those two efforts out. Nearly beat $15,000 claimers back in April at Harrah's Philly, and anything close to that would make him tough here. (5) WILD WEST switches to claimers tonight in search of a wake-up call. (8) MISTER TRUTH has been racing well for Robertson since the claim but draws much worse tonight and will need to work out a smooth trip.
Race 2 - 20000CLM Pace
(3) STEVE SAID moved up in class from the TrackMaster rating races last out at the Meadowlands and raced conservatively. Prior to that, he was showing sharp speed from whatever post he had and then finishing well too, so that interests me from a good draw tonight. Picks up Bongiorno, who can definitely make speed with one, and I'll hope they get the job done. (4) SANATTLE SLEW finished well in the final quarter in a big mile over at Pocono last time and gives Yonkers a try. Looks like he fits. (1) DEERFIELD BEACH delivered off a perfect trip on 5-21 but I'll try to beat him with no races while Yonkers was closed and that he hadn't been racing well before winning. (7) SWIFT AS A SHADOW drops tonight but shows no early speed, so he'll likely need some pace to chase.
Race 3 - 25000-30000CLM Pace
(4) ER ROCK MY WORLD performed well in his debut for Garcia-Herrera, finishing second in a condition race at Pocono and now ships back to Yonkers and into claiming company. Was racing well here prior and should have every chance to pick up where he left off. (6) STATESMAN N was a claim-back by the Bongiornos on 5-24. Raced extremely well for Jenn, winning two straight last month. (3) DONAU has been idle since May 17 but got sharp prior to the Yonkers hiatus. (1) TIGER BARON rallied nicely on 5-24, picking up a third from post seven and gets big-time post relief tonight, starting from the pole.
Race 4 - 20000-25000CLM Pace
(2) COOL BLUES MAN gets the post relief he's been looking for after drawing post seven on 5-10 and 5-17. That should allow Brennan to be much more aggressive and get closer to the front. (6) WHATSTROUBLNUROCKY drops to the level he probably belongs at, but I'll attempt to knock him off since he's never been able to duplicate that race from April 12 and draws outside. (8) MACH DEJA VU continues to slide down the class ladder, joining the claiming ranks tonight. Drew poorly, but given he's been racing against better, he deserves a look. (3) DON MCWHITE tries claimers in his third start for Banca and did get the nod from Bartlett over Mach Deja Vu.
Race 5 - NW20000L5 Pace
(4) LONDON SEELSTER received the vote of confidence from Jordan Stratton as he booked off a Peter Tritton-trained contender to retain the drive on this one. Raced very well on 5-20 after two wins against lower classes, rallying against the classy Great Vintage and gets back to the standard mile distance. (2) GUNPOWDER N is the Tritton trainee Stratton vacated, leaving Bongiorno at the controls. Gets major post relief tonight after two post seven draws and should be a major contender. (1) REAGAN'S AVENGER is a newcomer to the Ricky Bucci barn. Was performing well for Ron Burke at Hoosier Park, and I'll guess we'll see how his form out there holds up. (3) CHACHING HANOVER threw a big of a clunker most recently but his two efforts prior to that were both solid.
Race 6 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM Pace
(3) JK JAZZITUP entered for the optional claiming tag here, so she gets to drop back to the level of her impressive win from post eight back on May 17. (2) QUEEN JOSEPHINE made one start against the Opens at Saratoga while Yonkers was closed and now returns to Westchester on the drop back to the class where she won at on 4-19. (1) DONGAL RUNDLSCRK N took advantage of finally drawing an inside post back on May 24 to win and gets the rail again tonight without having to step up. (5) STELLENBOSCH found the NW30000L5 level a bit too tough but she had a win and a third when in against the NW20000L5's.
Race 7 - F&M NW21100L5/30000CLM Pace
(4) BETABCOOL N raced from off-the-pace and closed well in a race on June 4 at Pocono won by the streaking Reclamation. Should she race back tonight on short rest, I'll take her in the top spot as this is a drop from all her recent Yonkers appearances. (3) AMERICAN EMPRESS N also ran into Reclamation at Pocono on 5-21 and was a good second. Connections thought enough of her to race in the Great Northeast Open Series prior to that, so she's a major player here. Note she also just squeezed under the money-won condition by a few dollars. (2) SHEZZA GNP N was second as the favorite at this level on May 24 and the Stratton trainee was Stratton's pick here. (1) BELLATRICKS receives some serious post relief tonight, drawing the rail after having nothing but 6's, 7's, and 8's on the page.
Race 8 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM Pace
(6) KOTARE YARRA N hasn't been performing the best since the sick scratch on April 19 but hopefully another class drop can get her on the right track. Showed plenty of ability earlier this season, winning against the NW30000L5 class and hitting the board in the preferred. (1) ALWAYS WOGGY was flying on the end of the mile on May 24, just running out of track, and looms a serious player from the rail draw. (5) CABOWABOCUTTIE was a little disappointing last time but switches back to Brennan tonight, and maybe he can improve her some. (2) TYRONBETTORSELLA N retained Stratton and is coming off a win, albeit against a lower level.
Race 9 - NW20000L5/30000CLM Trot
(1) LIMERENCE had no chance from trailing posts on May 17 and May 24. Gets out of that predicament by drawing the rail tonight, luring Smith over from the Meadowlands to drive as well. (4) LILY'S SWAN POND gets the class relief he's been in search of. Won easily at this level on April 26. (5) MARLEY'S GUY is another dropper for the red-hot Bongiorno barn. Beat Lily's Swan Pond in the preferred at Freehold on May 17. (2) EXARCH is yet another one getting to drop tonight, retreating from the Open. Performed well against NW31000L5 company on May 4.
Race 10 - F&M NW30000L5/3&4YO NW10 Pace
(3) OCEANIA looked to be in a difficult spot during the race on May 24 but came with a huge rally that got her the win. Draws a better post tonight and gets a chance to stay at the NW30000L5 level. (4) BETTERB CHEVRON N hasn't been seen at Yonkers since she was racing in the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series. Finished second to the very good mare Bettor Joy N on 4-5, and anything like that performance would make her very tough. (7) ROCKSTAR ANGEL A gets to exit the open back to this level where she's won before. (5) AL-MAR-GOT A FEVER hasn't done anything wrong for DiDomenico but does take another step up the class ladder and looked vulnerable late on May 24.
