Yonkers logo

Best Bet: KING ROYALTY (3rd)

Spot Play: SALLY FLETCHER A (10th)

MEET STATS: 120 - 603 / $837.30

BEST BETS: 18 - 54 / $89.40

Race 1

Zero for 17 this year for (2) CADILLAC PHIL but the good news is he seems to be the speed of the speed so if he gets a clean getaway it will be lights out for the rest of these. (4) BONFIRE BLISS just missed glory by a head last time out is he is surely knocking at the door. Consistent (6) SWIFT AS A SHADOW is in fine form being in the exacta picture in his last four tries.

Race 2

(1) LONE RAIDER was sitting in the pocket most of the way but could not get past a tough Kingsley B last week as the latter enjoyed an wire-to-window score; can turn the tables on that rival with a better timed run. (2) KINGSLEY B is coming off a three consecutive victories and he stays in same condition; win threat. (5) AMERICAN ISLAND has hit the board in his last three trips to the post; consider.

Race 3

(6) KING ROYALTY did not have the best of trips at Philly recently but he is now back at Yonkers where he does have the most success; using. (1) BETTOR BELIEVE IT gets post relief and that should help his cause. (2) STARSKYS DREAM N did not have enough gas in the tank against tougher last out but he does fit with this group.

Race 4

(1) WINNING LINC makes his return to the races off a sharp qualifier here on 6/22. With clear sailing, he can greet the camera operator for pictures. Based on his last two starts (4) HEEZ ORL BLACK N is knocking at the door. (5) MACON GEORGIA A did flash speed against better last out so he could be square in the mix.

Race 5

Solid effort for (5) BAMSKI last week missing glory by a head. Gelding can boss these if he brings his A-game to the table. (4) SGT PAPA DADDY was in the NW8 ranks last out and led every step of the way so he appears to be the main danger in here. (3) CHEYENNE JEFFREY came very wide turning for home to grab the show spot losing by only a neck recently; watch out.

Race 6

(4) JK JAZZITUP moves back to her winning level and she does have the positional speed and she could make tonight a winning one with a well-judged drive. (3) ROBIN J leaves door number eight for a much better slot and Bartlett has the assignment. (5) ITTY BITTY will need a better trip than in her last try but she is very capable of turning things around.

Race 7

Open veteran (6) MACH IT A PAR was quite dull last week but she is clearly better than her latest. Should get an honest pace to chase and she could pick them up and run them down for the victory. (1) MAGIC FORCES put in a good run against lesser last out so she has every right to put her best foot forward. (7) LISPATTY has wheeled off three victories in a row and her form is very sharp; do not overlook despite the move to door number seven.

Race 8

(4) SAIL TO THE BEACH is heading in the right direction off an easy victory against lesser company last week. She is good as any in here so the repeat is not out of the question. (2) CHANGE THE RULZ N came down the center of the track to nail down the score last out so thr pacing miss merits respect. (1) CALL ME QUEEN BE moves to the rail and has fine speed on her second start off the dropdown; respect.

Race 9

(1) BEST OF JENNA got the job done via the pocket route last time around. Now she moves up the ladder but she should be in a good position from the fence. (5) BELLATRICKS just missed the victory last time out by a neck so the pacing miss is heading in the right direction; threat. (4) BETABCOOL N has tactical speed and she could make some serious noise against these.

Race 10

(2) SALLY FLETCHER A just could not get past a sharp Sail to the Beach in her last try and had to settle for the show spot. Mare seems to be in fine form and she could take these to task if she brings her A-game to the table. (5) DUDESALADY moves down in class off two good efforts against better. (1) CAVIART CHERIE has speed and draws the rail; could control the tempo with a clean getaway.
