MEET STATS: 88 - 252 / $430.10 (-$73.90) BEST BETS: 13 - 23 / $37.90 (-$8.10) SPOT PLAYS: 6 - 23 / $28.00 (-$18.00) BEST BET-BETTORHAVEANOTHER (4th) SPOT PLAY-MY LADY DUDE (7th) Race 1 - 12500CLM Pace (1) BIG TURN ON returns to the Bamond barn off the claim.  Been hot with three wins and a second in his last five.  (3) FCEE N performed well against $20,000 claimers last week with a fourth and now drops to the bottom claiming level at Yonkers.  Better post to work with tonight too.  (4) OUR ART AND HEAVEN hasn't been able to show much lately as he's been stuck with outside draws.  Gets post four tonight and maybe that will allow him to hit the board. [SUN STAKES: Free Harness Eye PPs, 20% Rebate & Live Video for Sun Stakes Saturday at The Downs at Pocono.] Race 2 - 20000CLM Pace (3) NY WHITESOX topped the bottom level NW5000L5 condition on 6-20 and now returns to claimers tonight.  It is a hike from the level of the claim on 6-13, but it looks like he catches the right group.  (6) POP ICON grabbed the lead from first-up but just couldn't hold on a week ago.  Solid effort, though, and we'll see if Bongiorno can trip him out tonight.  (4) SWIFT AS A SHADOW hasn't been able to find the winner's circle but remains hot at the claim box as he was taken by Banca last Friday night.  Tough post last week with the seven but gets to slide in to post four this evening. Race 3 - 25000-30000CLM HCP Pace (6) WICK N took a tough beat last week when picked off by the pylon-skimming Tiger Baron.  Was still a strong performance in his debut for the hot Robertson barn.  (7) WE THINK ALIKE goes for Andrew Harris tonight after being claimed.  Good rally in the same race as my top pick last week.  (8) IAMMRBRIGHTSIDE N drops after a good third against $40,000 claimers. Gets the worst of the draw, but hopefully Marohn Jr. can find a seat. Race 4 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM Pace (4) BETTORHAVEANOTHER gets a drop down to a level where she should be able to win at.  Gets some post relief tonight as well, and she should be able to wire these up.  (5) SHEZALLAPPLES A also slides down the class ladder to this NW20000L5 company she has done well at in prior appearances, with a win and a second early last month.  (1) TIPP CITY didn't have much chance from post seven last Friday night but closed ground and gained a couple spots in the final quarter.  Drew the rail tonight, so she should be much closer to the front. Race 5 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM Pace (5) OCEANIA raced conservatively last Friday night from the outside post and closed in the last quarter.  Draws the ideal mid-pack post for her late-closing style tonight and gets reunited with Eric Goodell.  (1) ECLIPSE ME N looks like she should be a major player here with the combination of class and post relief.  (7) MAGIC FORCES returns to Yonkers tonight after some races out at The Meadows against their Open class.  Was in fine form in Westchester before departing, including wins against the higher NW30000L5 class. Race 6 - New York Sire Stakes 3YO Filly Pace (2) DD DELICIOUS moved to the lead in the second quarter up in Buffalo but got caught in the lane.  Been performing great in the Sire Stakes program considering she was in NW2 at Yonkers just last month and got a vote of confidence from Matt Kakaley tonight as his choice of two.  (1) PRESCIENT BEAUTY has been pretty disappointing this year given she won the Three Diamonds against Grand Circuit foes last fall.  Draws the coveted rail post here tonight, so that will certainly aid her as she looks for her first win of 2019.  (3) JK AMERICAN BEAUTY scored in the Sire Stakes at Buffalo but loses Kakaley tonight.  Certainly gets a good replacement, though, with Stratton hopping aboard. Race 7 - New York Sire Stakes 3YO Filly Pace (2) MY LADY DUDE has run into Zero Tolerance in her two sire stakes efforts, with a fourth and a second.  Zero Tolerance isn't here tonight, and this is definitely the more wide open of the two divisions, so let's see if she takes advantage.  (5) HEAVENS CHALLENGE put up big fractions on the lead in Buffalo and faded.  Raced well in the prior sire stakes event at Yonkers on 5-14 from off-the-pace, so maybe Morrill Jr. will switch up tactics tonight.  (1) CHASE YOU gives the top sire stakes level a try after racing well in the Excelsior A Series.  Gets a kind draw with the rail and avoids the deeper first split. Race 8 - F&M Open Handicap Pace (7) TEQUILA MONDAY is enjoying a great 2019 campaign and fills a gap in the stakes schedule with appearance at Yonkers tonight.  Rallied for second behind the great Shartin N up in Canada in the Roses Are Red final and has won in Westchester this year. (4) WRITE ME A SONG absolutely obliterated the NW30000L5 class on 6-14 from post eight.  Steps up tonight but does get a better post than some of the fancied contenders.  (8) BETTOR JOY N was the runner-up to Shartin N in the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series final at Yonkers this year, but she faces an uphill battle from post eight tonight. Race 9 - F&M NW30000L5/F&M 3&4YO NW10 Pace (2) GOLD ORCHID N ended up locked in on 6-14 and then rallied from last when she was stuck in post eight a week ago.  Receives the double benefit of class relief and sliding inside to post two this evening.  (5) LISPATTY gets out of the Opens for the first time in quite awhile.  MacDonald is not here tonight, so she also gets a new set of hands with Brennan driving.  (6) ZOE ELLASEN raced great from the pocket last week against the NW20000L5 class.  Steps back up tonight off that sharp effort. Race 10 - F&M NW30000L5/F&M 3&4YO NW10 Pace (1) DIBABA N wound up with too much work to do last Friday night and had to settle for a closing fourth.  I'm looking for her to be much more forwardly-placed this week with the shift to the pole position and Brennan in the bike.  (5) ANGEL'S PRIDE receives class relief tonight, getting to move down from the Opens, and that could make her a big player, especially if she's anywhere close to as good as she was on 5-17 or 5-24.  (3) ALWAYS WOGGY is in a similiar boat to my top pick, having kicked home nicely from far back a week ago.  Gets a much better draw this week, going from post six to post three. Race 11 - NW20000L5/30000CLM Trot (7) SUMATRA closed nicely for second behind runaway winner Marley's Guy a week ago.  Stuck with the same tough post, but he is classy enough to overcome it and retained Brent Holland over two others.  (3) THE LAST CHAPTER scored the win at the Meadowlands last Friday night and now ships back over to Yonkers.  Did get knocked off at the NW10000L5 level on 6-11, but he had post six that night, so he does draw better for this opportunity.  (5) NEWCASTLE hasn't been able to win against NW20000L5's at Yonkers, but he does get a driver change to George Brennan tonight with Joe Bongiorno departing early. Race 12 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM Pace (2) SHEZ SUGARSWEET A invades tonight from Scarborough Downs and Plainridge up in Maine and Massachusetts for the Cushings.  Been razor-sharp, including a second to Write Me A Song, who is in the open at Yonkers tonight.  Looks like she drew in against mares she can hold her own against here.  (3) ANNABETH took down NW10000L5's on 6-18 in facile fashion.  Found this level too deep on 5-3, but she did have post eight on that occasion.  (4) SCUOLA HANOVER ships up from Delaware for a try tonight.  Had a bad post against the open II class last time out, but any repeat of that closing effort on 6-4 would be quite formidable.
