Race 1
(3) FOCUS POWER was sent down the road for all the glory last time out. Gelding is in sharp form and has the speed to top these for his second straight victory. (2) CARTOON DADDY came outside in the stretch run but could not get to the winner in his latest; player. (6) IM DRINKIN DOUBLES just got up for win honors in his Philly finale; watch out.
Race 2
(6) ROCK MY WORLD flashed good speed last time around at Philly, but she tired in the stretch drive. Now she is back at Yonkers and she should fit well in here; the pick. (7) GADSDEN HANOVER rallied strongly to nail down the place spot last time out; could move forward. (2) SCOOTIN FOR JOY took the pocket route on her way to victory recently.
Race 3
(6) MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT gets class relief and this gelding does have speed to take these to task for all the cash. (4) HIGHLAND TARTAN comes by way of Canada and was a sharp winner in his last try; big threat. (1) ROCK TO GLORY was second best last time out and now draws the rail; not out of this.
Race 4
(3) MADIBA MAGIC N was on the engine most of the way last out at Plainridge but tried in the stretch run. Pacing gelding seems to knocking at the door and he has every right to put his best foot forward against these. (5) WHITE MOUNTAIN TOP put in a game effort for the placing last time around; main danger. (2) PRETTY BOY HILL was facing Open foes upstate last time out and fits well in here; don't overlook.
Race 5
(7) JOURNEYMAN flashed good speed against Open pacers at Plainridge last out and now he makes his return to Yonkers and should make an impact in this event. (5) DONTCALLMEFRANCIS might have been used up in the early stages in his Meadowlands finale; could be right in the mix. (1) A BETTOR HAT based on his last two trips this gelding is knocking at the door; watch out.
Race 6
(5) COUSIN MARY got the job done 11 of 15 starts this year. In her last try she seems to have been used up in the speed duel. With a favorable trip and a well judged drive this mare could greet the cameraman for pictures. (2) MADE OF JEWELS AS almost took down the hat trick missing glory by 3/4 length; big threat. (1) ANNABETH gets serious post relief and that should help her cause; we shall see.
Race 7
(2) BEYONCES ROCKN moves down the ladder and she has plenty of speed to boss these at her best. (4) ELM GROVE INARUSH has wheeled off two straight victories at Plainridge; factor. (1) JAG OUT just missed the score by a head last time around; not out of this.
Race 8
(7) LOVINEVERYMINUTE 6-year-old miss did not fire in her last trip but she was chasing the leader in hot fractions so if she gets a better trip she might make tonight a winning one. (2) BETABCOOL N took charge at the 1/4 pole and never looked back for all the marbles recently at Saratoga; big player. (8) I SAID DIAMONDS came very wide at the 3/4 pole on her way to an easy victory last out; post hurts tonight but she is very capable.
Race 9
(6) MILKY WAY RAE leaves the Open ranks and returns to Yonkers with a decent record and she is poised to get back to her winning form. (5) NARCIAN JEWEL rallied strongly to nail down the victory in her Tioga finale; main danger. (1) BETTER SAID was second best last time out upstate and now she draws the fence; watch out.
Race 10
(1) ROCK ON MOE makes his return to the Hilltop and does have a victory four trips ago. Retains the rail so with the right trip he could get the job done. (5) SHANE ADAM beat lesser company in his latest and he fits with this group; threat. (7) ROYAL HEART seems to be in a better spot and he could make some serious noise in this event.
Race 11
(5) BAKERSFIELD has put in three top efforts in a row and this gelding appears to be heading in the right direction; the pick for win honors. (3) BIG CITY JEWEL should fare much better from the 3-hole and Sears stays in the bike. (2) BEAT THE DRUM was sent down the road in his latest for all the glory; must be considered.
Race 12
Will take a shot with (5) SKIPPIN BY to put it all together, plus this pacing mare moves down a notch. At her best she can top these. (1) YES YOU CAN She moves back to the fence where she was a game second two trips back; main danger. (6) IDEAL NUGGETS came outside and she got the job done in her Pocono finale; watch out.
