Race 1
(2) KOLT POWER Good news for this 5-year-old gelding that he moves to the 2-hole for team Brennan/Burke and he's a good fit in here; can get the job done at his best. (6) WAGON MASTER was sharp for the placing last time around; post hurts but he is very capable. (3) STONEBRIDGE BEACH was sent down the road in his last trip for all the glory; needs to step it up at this level.
Race 2
(3) DRAMA FREE showed good early trot in his last trip to the post. Gelding is good enough to get back into the winner's circle if he can revert to his 4/17 try. (7) HASTY PROFFITT is knocking at the door based on his last three outings; big threat. (4) O U SEXY GUY gets post relief and that might help his cause; we shall see.
Race 3
(1) PIER HO TEMPTATION broke turning for home and lost all chance last time out. Gelding should appreciate the move to the fence and gets the services of Brennan; player. (3) CLINT WESTWOOD moves down the ladder and appears to be a major factor with Bartlett at the helm. (8) SWEET TALKIN SATIN just missed glory by a neck last out; gets a bad draw but could hang around for a share.
Race 4
(4) FLIGHT DECK N If you throw out his last start at Philly this gelding was sharp for the victory there on 4/6 & 4/12 respectably. He is very capable of getting the job done with the right trip. (2) SAMMY THE BULL N is back at Yonkers and when the last time he was here he closed sharply to grab the victory on March 21st; dangerous. (8) HERE WE GO AGAIN needs a strong early pace for him to make an impact against these from way out there; possible.
Race 5
(5) MARCH AWARENESS rallied strongly to nail down the show spot in his last trip to the post. Gelding got the job done at this level two starts back so with a well judged drive from MacDonald the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (2) FORT VALLEY AS did show early trot but could not get past the top pair last out; contender. (1) SUMATRA could make some noise from the fence.
Race 6
(2) LE TISSIER has put in two fine efforts and trotting gelding has every right to put his best foot forward. (3) MANWITHAMISSION showed life in his last try and could be right in the swings of things. (1) DOUBLE L LINDY makes his first start in 2017 and draws the fence; watch out.
Race 7
(1) ROCK MY WORLD moves down in class and she gets the luck of the draw; capable of going down the road against these. (5) AL RAZA N drops to a new low and she is seeking his first victory of the year; big threat. (3) SUDDEN CHANGE N came outside and mowed them down for all the glory in her last trip at the Meadowlands; not out of this.
Race 8
(3) DELIGHTFUL DRAGON She has been very sharp in her last three outings and this mare is very versatile; gets the call. (7) BEDROOMCONFESSIONS should fit well against this group and she must be considered in all the exotic slots. (8) REGIL ELEKTRA is better than her last flop and Bartlett is back in the sulky; beware.
Race 9
(2) CAROBBEAN PACETRY gets post relief, has tactical speed and Brenan signs on for the drive; can be the boss over these at her best. (6) SINGLE ME took the pocket route on her way to a second straight score; main danger. (1) VILLAGE JESSICA was quite good two starts back from the rail so clearly she is not out of this by far.
Race 10
(4) BLUE SPARK She has good speed in her last two tries here so maybe trotting mare can move forward to greet the cameraman for pictures. (7) BLACK BROADWAY has scored two straight at her Plainridge headquarters; factor. (6) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN was sent down the road in her latest for all the glory and once again she must be considered.
Race 11
(1) CHANGE THE RULZ N was late on the scene to grab the show spot last out. Mare gets a cozy post to work with and fits quite well against these; the pick. (2) LEASE NESS MONSTER gets post relief and that might help her cause. (8) MARLEE B just missed glory by only a head. Tough post to get the job done but she must be respected with Sears in the bike.
