(3) EIGHTEEN moves up off two sharp scores in a row; ready to take down the hat trick. (2) BET THE MOON Consistent 7-year-old gets serious post relief; threat. (1) BONFIRE BLISS should do much better from the rail and gets Brennan.
Race 2
(5) BARRYS SHELBY was nailed for win honors last out; can put his best foot forward against these. (3) GRAND MASTER was sent down the road last time around for all the glory; player again. (1) TAURANGA is back on the fence where he got the job done four trips ago; watch out.
Race 3
(7) DRUNKEN DESIRE A seems to be in a better spot to make tonight a winning one if given a favorable trip. (5) IRA CHIEF Philly invader has good speed and picks up Bartlett; dangerous. (1) RESPECTABLE DREAM comes downstate and retains the rail; not out of this.
Race 4
(2) DUEL IN THE SUN does have a win at Pocono two starts back and now the gelding returns to the Hilltop and gets a cozy post; the pick. (4) WAR DADDY put in a mild bid for the show spot recently; main danger. (1) LAWGIVER HANOVER moves to the rail and that might help his cause; maybe.
Race 5
(2) MYSTICAL NECTAR moves down in class, gets post relief and Bartlett has the assignment; gets the call. (3) ALL ABOUT MADI took the pocket route on her way to victory in her recent outing; threat again. (5) SWEET BOBBIE was facing Open foes at Harrington and this should be a better spot for her to contend with these; don't overlook.
Race 6
(2) BLACKNSWEET ADDA A Pacing mare does has a fondness for Yonkers and comes off a sharp qualifier last week; can make her return to the winner's circle tonight. (4) AL RAZA N came outside at the 3/4 pole and took charge on her way to her second straight score; capable despite the rise in class. (7) APPLE BOTTOM JEANS could not get by the sharp Freeze Out in her last trip to the post; beware.
Race 7
(3) PROVEN DESIRE was sharp on the front most of the way but was caught in deep stretch for win honors last time around; can get back into the winning grove with a well judged drive from Merton. (6) SWEET TALKIN SATIN took the lead turning for home but was nailed for the victory recently; main danger. (1) IN THE HUDDLE leaves the Open ranks at Saratoga and has the rail slot in this event; watch out.
Race 8
(7) OH JOHNY B GOOD N should be in a better spot to take these to task but will need a favorable trip to do it; capable. (6) ROCK ON MOE was sent down the road last out for all the marbles and will most likely be the favorite again despite the move to door number six. (3) UF LARRY ALLTHEWAY gets serious post relief and Bartlett is in the controls; don't overlook.
Race 9
(1) DIABANDO did show some pace last out but tired in the stretch drive. Gelding is back on the rail and at his best he could take this. (4) STATESMAN N could not get past the winner in his latest outing and fits well in here; threat. (2) LAUXMONT CAPRI moves back inside and Brennan stays in the bike; must be considered.
Race 10
(8) CERTIFIED IDEAL was sharp for second money last out. Now the pacing miss gets class relief but will have to get the job done from the far outside post; quite possible. (3) SENSATIONALGABBY A was nailed for win honors in her last trip against lesser company; player. (4) ARIELLE LYNN did put in a mild bid in her latest; could have a say in the outcome.
Race 11
(2) LOVINEVERYMINUTE took charge at the 3/4 pole and dug in for the victory last out. Mare is sharp and ready to boss these for her second straight score. (1) BETABCOOL N got the job done wire to window last out and now she moves to the fence; dangerous again. (4) PURRFECT BAGS has hit the board in her last three tries and clearly she is not out of this.
