BEST BET: GOKUDO HANOVER (12th)

SPOT PLAY: SUNKEN TREASURE (5th)

MEET STATS: 63 - 170 / $307.20 (-$32.80)

BEST BETS: 10 - 16 / $29.20 (-$2.80)

SPOT PLAYS: 4 - 16 / $16.90 (-$15.10)

Race 1

(1) SELL A BIT N has seen better days and is 0-for-10 this year, but she gets an inside draw tonight. Finally got going late on May 14, but had no chance trying to close into those soft fractions. (2) CABOWABOCUTTIE has been bumping into the unstoppable Miss You N at the NW8 level and switches to the NW20000L5 class tonight. (4) AL-MAR-GOT A FEVER has won two straight for DiDomenico, including a stroll at Yonkers on May 14 against my top choice.

Race 2

(3) VORST made all the pace last week but couldn't hold off Scandalicious, who sat a perfect trip and out-finished her. I'll hope she has a better kick to close it out tonight and try her again. (4) BRONZE OVER N drops back to the NW20000L5 level where she's most competitive. Disappointed at odds-on two back but did wind up second. (5) I WISH YOU WELL hasn't raced at Yonkers in a while, but she has had some success in Westchester and does come back off a win at Harrah's Philly.

Race 3

(1) TEXAS TERROR N ended up with a long first-over grind in that race last time at Pocono and flattened out in the final quarter. Ships back to Yonkers tonight and draws the rail, meaning he could be able to get to the front like he did back on May 2 at this level and wire them up. (4) CHACHING HANOVER had the misfortune of running into the classy Mach It So last week and chased him around from the pocket. This looks like a softer group. (5) BAKERSFIELD threw a bit of a clunker when last seen, but I'll hope that was a one-off and use him to round out the top three.

Race 4

(1) DONGAL RUNDLSCRK N receives some major post relief after showing some interest in the final quarter a week ago. Hopefully she can pair a good late kick with being closer and get the job done. (2) MACH IT A PAR retreats out of the Preferred back to a more realistic level. Was a strong second two back from a trailing post. (5) JAG OUT sat a pocket trip last Friday night and couldn't reach. Might have to hope for a cover trip since she moves outside.

Race 5

(6) SUNKEN TREASURE had a couple wins at this NW20000L5 level back in March and April before having to go up to the NW30000L5 class. Gets the class relief tonight, and maybe he can find something like that closing effort on May 4 that would make him a big threat here. (4) RONNY BUGATTI is a pretty classy old boy with over three-quarters of a million in lifetime earnings. He also retreats out of the NW30000L5 group tonight, and since he only made 10 starts last year, the connections may be looking to take advantage while he's fresh. (5) PERFECT BET retained Stratton over my top pick and does get a better post after having late pace last out.

Race 6

(7) FEELIN RED HOT showed speed from this post last week and converted the two-hole trip into a win, and I an envisioning a similar scenario tonight. She could get to the lead as well, and that would be fine also as she beat Matchmaker Series foes in that fashion back on March 22. (5) QUEEN LOSTRIS N was excellent back on May 3 against the Preferreds but hasn't raced since. Hopefully she'll still be as sharp as she was. (4) ANGEL'S PRIDE bottomed out lesser last time, but she does have the class to go with these, having competed in the Matchmaker Series.

Race 7

(6) OCEANIA was red-hot earlier this year but faded at the Meadowlands three back and then ran into the Opens in Westchester where she had little chance. Gets some class relief tonight and hopefully that gets her back on track. (2) BETABCOOL N has been bouncing between Saratoga and Yonkers with some success in both locales. Draws much better than when last seen in Westchester on May 10 and Bartlett takes back over in the bike. (3) LINE DANCER is probably one level too high to be a win threat, but she gets a good post and can probably trip-out to complete the ticket.

Race 8

(6) SOUTHWIND CRUZE lost his form in his last couple but receives some more class relief tonight and rolled over the NW20000L5 class the last time he got to race in it on March 8. (1) CR BLAZIN BEAUTY picked up a second and a win over at Pocono and now tries Yonkers for the first time in a while. Gets the best of the draw and catches the right field to keep up the solid roll. (5) TROTTING GRACE put up a solid second against the sharp In My Dreams a week ago. Does lose Bartlett, but Holland is perfectly capable of getting the job done.

Race 9

(3) BEACH MEMORIES knocked off the NW10000L5 class in his return to DiDomenico and now switches back to claiming company. I think he keeps the beat rolling. (4) JOE HILL wound up first-over and retreated back on May 10 but goes first-time for Allard off the claim, and that means he's certainly capable of better. (5) STATESMAN N saw his win streak end last Friday, but raced well, battling the winner Pickled Preacher all the way. Got claimed by Banca, so Bartlett takes over in the bike.

Race 10

(2) ORILLIA JOE looks to be in a winning spot tonight, dropping back to the level of his last win off a speed-and-fade try against better. Gets post relief as well. (1) THE LUNCH PAIL finally draws inside after two post eights in-a-row and a series of other outside posts. Has been showing some late interest from far back, so we'll see if he can take advantage of being closer to the action. (6) ROCK DIAMONDS N is an interesting newcomer to Westchester who has been racing well out of town. Did qualify back at Yonkers in March and seemed to do all right.

Race 11

(8) MONICA GALLAGHER sees her bad luck at the draw continue with an eight-hole this week, but she takes another drop in class off the comeback mile last Friday and does have the class and speed to overcome the outside post. (5) LOVINEVERYMINUTE picked up both her wins this year at this NW20000L5 level and just missed against better three back. (1) SHEZZA GNP N finished up well last Friday night and gets the rail after having post five.

Race 12

(2) GOKUDO HANOVER trailed from post eight against the Preferreds at Freehold and really had no chance, though he did finish up well. Ships back to Yonkers tonight where he battled through the Levy Series, picking up a pair of seconds to the likes of champion Western Fame and the good Rodeo Rock. Either one of those efforts against this NW20000L5 group would be tough to top. (5) PROVEN DESIRE kicked home stoutly last Friday night at this level and will have every chance to do that again since he drew the same post five. (3) ODDS ON DELRAY paced evenly in a quick final quarter a week ago. Has shown the ability to race on the lead before, so maybe he'll try that strategy this time.
