(5) LAWGIVER HANOVER seems to be heading in the right direction off his last two starts; can take this at his best. (4) TAURANGA drops a bit in class and figures to be right in the mix. (1) SPINARAMA should appreciate the move to the rail.
Race 2
(4) STAR STUDDED CAST moves downstate and has fine speed; can top these down the road. (2) IM FABULOUS gets post relief and that might help her cause. (1) PINE TAB has the rail draw and clearly not out of this.
Race 3
(5) BADIX HANOVER is knocking at the door based on his last two trips to the post; can greet the cameraman for pictures. (7) WAGON MASTER has scored in his last two starts; post hurts but he is capable. (4) KINGS BARNS came down the center of the track to get the job done last time out.
Race 4
(6) COVERT OPERATIVE was uncovered and put in a fine effort last time out. Gelding is good enough to make tonight a winning one. (1) ROCKIN REDFORD rallied strongly to nail down the placing last out and now receives the rail draw; threat. (4) SUMATRA was very wide and just missed the victory by a nose; watch out.
Race 5
(1) SHESJUSTADELIGHT N Mare was so sharp for the victory last time out. Retains the rail and another fine effort is well within the realm. (4) SANDBETWEENURTOES Canadian invader has good early zip and should make some noise against these. (6) LISPATTY did not race badly last time around and she could contend in here.
Race 6
(7) TESSA SEELSTER did not fire her best last out but she is clearly one tough cookie when she minds her manners; can take this with a favorable trip. (5) MACH IT A PAR was sent down the road in her latest for all the glory; dangerous again. (3) WRANGLER MAGIC took the pocket route on her way to victory in her recent trip.
Race 7
(1) BEDROOMCONFESSIONS was sharp in the pocket most of the way but she could not get to a sharp Mach It A Par last week; ready to put it all together tonight. (3) KRISPY APPLE gets serious post relief and that should help her cause. (7) REGIL ELEKTRA got the job done wire to window for her second straight score last out.
Race 8
(3) STEED put in a sharp effort in his first attempt at the Hilltop last week. Gelding seems to be fit and ready to boss these at his best. (1) V FOR VICTORY came outside to grab the score at Woodbine recently; main danger. (7) OMG HANOVER is knocking at the door based on his last two tries; don't overlook.
Race 9
(3) DRAGON STRIKES gets a lucky draw tonight, beat lesser company two trips ago and the good news is Bartlett keeps the faith on this 4-year-old pacer; gets the call. (1) MISTER TRUTH is another that receives post relief; big player. (5) JUSTIFIED has been very game in his last two outings; not out of this.
Race 10
(7) DOUBLEDAY seems to be heading in the right direction and this trotting gelding's last try just lost glory by a neck; ready for action. (4) TACO TUESDAY has good early trot and most likely be on the engine; threat. (2) ENJOY THE JOURNEY Jersey invader gets a better post and she does have speed; watch out.
Race 11
(3) DUBLIN ROSE Pacing mare gets a better post to work with and if she gets the right trip 5-year-old can make tonight a winning one. (6) BETTOR N BETTER was sent down the road most of the way but did not have enough gas in the tank and lasted for show money last time around. (1) SO NICE gets serious post relief and she must be considered in all the exotic slots.
