(6) RURAL ART just held on for win honors last out. Post hurts tonight but he is very capable. (2) CASINO BAGS CARLO could not get past the top pick in his last try but he must be considered a threat against these.
Race 2
(2) CAVIART CHERIE gets serious post relief and this group might be to her liking. Looms very tough here if she is at her best. (5) POPPY DRAYTON N has put in three sharp efforts so she must be respected. (3) JEWELS FORREAL did not fire in her Meadowlands finale but she should appreciate the move to the half-mile oval.
Race 3
(6) AMERICAN VENTURE came close to getting the job done last time out, His last try might be a indication he is ready to put his best foot forward. (1) WE THINK ALIKE moves back to the fence and he needs to do better than in his last flop. (3) WILD AGAIN leaves door number six for the 3-hole and he should show more speed; watch out.
Race 4
(2) RAINBOW ROMANCE N left the pocket at the half-mile pole on his way to victory in his last trip to the post. Gelding moves up in class but he does have the tactical speed to grab an ideal favorable trip; repeating threat. (6) SUNKEN TREASURE has wheeled off two victories in a row so he can be right in the mix despite the move to the 6-hole. (3) ORILLIA JOE did not have the best of trips last time around but he should do much better from door number three.
Race 5
(4) GINA GRACE N gets a much better draw where she is able to use her tactical speed to her best advantage; using. (6) DONGAL RUNDLSCRK N is knocking at the door based on her last two tries and her last one she just missed the score by only a neck; big threat. (1) CHEYENNE TRIENGEL was third best last time around and now she moves to the fence; not out of this.
Race 6
(7) NERIDA FRANCO N is on a roll scoring her second straight victory. Veteran mare is quite fast, so with a clean getaway the rest might have to settle for minor awards. (5) DELISHKA N did not have enough gas in the tank last time around but she fits with these; main danger. (4) SHEZZA GNP N put in a sharp qualifier here on 2/1 for her 2019 debut; consider.
Race 7
(3) GLENFERRIE BRONTE N showed signs of life in her last start. Pacing mare can make tonight a winning one if she is able to stay close. (1) PHYLLIS JEAN closed well to miss glory by a head in her latest; merits respect. (6) SHADY CAROLINE has showed good early speed in her last two starts. Post hurts her tonight but she is capable.
Race 8
(1) DUDESALADY makes her return to the fence where she got the job done three starts ago. Five-year old mare figures to show more speed so she can improve here if she gets a better setup then in her last two. (6) A CRAFTY LADY scored her third consecutive victory last time out. Now she moves up the scale but she is in solid form and Bartlett stays in the bike; respect. (5) EMPRESS DEO was sitting in the pocket most of the way but could not get past the winner in her last try; do not overlook.
Race 9
(1) CITY HALL might have been used up in the early stages last time around. Gelding does know how to win at the Hilltop and the rail slot should help his cause; the pick. (7) SCOTCH MCEWAN closed late to get up for the show spot recently; consider. (3) TEXAS TERROR N was sent down the road in his last trip for all the glory; must be respected against this group.
Race 10
Based on his last two starts (2) CHEYENNE REIJANE seems to be heading in the right direction. Has the speed but he can also rate and make one run; gets the call. (3) TRIPLE SEELSTER did not have the best of trips in his last one but he is clearly capable of getting back into the winning groove. (1) ZIGGY SKY came out of the 3-hole to grab the lead and just held on for the score by a nose; not out of this.
Race 11
(3) DEKEYSER did not race badly in his last trip to the post so now he should have a pace to chase and has every right to mow them down when the smoke clears. (2) CONSOLIDATOR just ran out of gas in her latest but if she can relax her speed she could be a serious threat. (1) LUMINOSITY seems to be heading in the right direction and draws the fence; do not overlook.
Race 12
(6) ABERDEEN HANOVER moves down the scale and this should help his chances against these. Could be tough to reel in with a clean getaway. (1) THEREISAPACEFORUS makes his return to Yonkers where he was a game second two starts back and he now draws the rail; merits respect. (3) ROYAL HEART was second best in his last trip and he does have good early pace; respect.
