Race 1 - $10,000 Claiming

(1) MISTER TRUTH could not reach last week from a tough outside spot but the move inside should make all the difference here. (4) PROLOGUE is in for the basement claiming price after being taken for $20K four starts back; DiDomenico trainee could not overcome a two-move trip last week. (3) STEVE SAID is back from the Meadowlands and gets Bartlett in the bike looking to awaken. (2) WILLIE JOE HILL gets needed post relief after a string of outside draws.

Race 2 – F&M NW30000 in last 5 starts

(1) SNOBBYTOWN jogged last week and essentially gets a free ride here; short price looming. (2) SANDY’S BEACH could only rally for a small share from too far back in the same race the top choice won; post relief gives this Allard trainee a legit chance. (5) MILLIONDOLLARGEM A closed sharply in her last couple and the Lance Hudson trainee should be coming late again. (6) CLEAR IDEA is a legit talent but she may need a start coming off the holiday break.

Race 3 - $25,000/$30,000 Claiming

(4) TALK SHOW looked like a winner every step of that mile last week stalking from the pocket; Banca trainee is razor-sharp and can take another. (1) STATESMAN N was a winner right off the bench in 1:53 2/5 at Freehold and the now 13-year-old still has plenty of life left in those legs. (2) DONTCALLMEFRANCIS never got involved last week off the Godinez reclaim but he moves back inside and should be close enough to land a share. (5) TALENT SOUP charged up the rail to upset off the Chris Height claim; he certainly fits with these but faces an uncertain trip from this spot.

Race 4 - $12,500 Claiming

(2) KABOOM POW goes for Allard off the claim and stays at the winning level looking to make it two straight. (6) OH JONNY B GOOD N has plenty of local experience and returns for a barn that’s been live here this season. (3) LET’S FOAL AROUND plunged in class last week, faltered badly on the front end and now he goes for a new barn off the claim; mixed feelings. (1) UNDERTAKER gets major post relief and can hang around for a share.

Race 5 - $20,000 Claiming

(4) ONLYTHETUFFSURVIVE raced well in his first start off the Annunziata claim then didn’t fire last out facing better; he’s back at the appropriate level and should be a decent price in this competitive event. (3) DAVID THE SAINT moves to the Allard barn via claim; shows improvement? (2) LINKJACK HANOVER also drops back to the level of the claim and looks like a speed threat from a good post. (1) ZOEEZ BOY HENRY likely needed last week’s start and he draws best for a hot barn.

Race 6 – NW7500 in last 5 starts

(3) PERFECTLY CLOSE has missed time off that judges scratch but this barn had a winner the other night who was sharp off over three weeks so maybe this guy will be ready to go. (1) KEEP ON ROCKING A has also missed a bit of time off a sick scratch but he drops, draws best and was Stratton’s choice. (6) BANK SEA is up in class while razor-sharp; consider. (4) WILD GOOSE CHASE goes for two straight and was Kakaley’s choice.

Race 7 – F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts

(2) CLASSY CHAPEL N took command from the outset last week and was a solid front-end winner; Banca trainee is in a similar spot tonight and seems capable of repeating. (5) BELIEVE IN ME returns locally off a nice win at The Meadowlands and looks like a decent fit here. (3) AMANDEROSA has good early speed which can set her up with a nice trip. (4) CABOWABOCUTTIE failed badly at odds-on last week when unable to make a second move; price goes way up tonight.

Race 8 – NW20000 in last 5 starts

(3) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN drops back to a winning level and the Bucci trainee jogged versus similar five back; trotter figures to go wire-to-window tonight. (5) THE LAST CHAPTER was shuffled and came on too late last week; overall the Ed Hart trainee has been very good. (4) KENZIESKY HANOVER goes for the Cullipher barn now and was Bartlett’s choice of three. (6) VOLARE faces tougher for Allard but has done little wrong since returning locally.

Race 9 – NW15000 in last 5 starts

(5) SOUTHWIND CRUZE took some money in his Freehold return but never got involved in a likely needed start; Jenn Bongiorno trainee has been very competitive with this type in the past. (4) MAJESTIC MOMENT N faces a bit softer here but needs to get involved earlier for his best chance. (2) ARRIKIS will be close up throughout and can land a share. (3) TIDQUIST will be on the scene late.

Race 10 – F&M Open Handicap

(3) ITTY BITTY was sharp right off the holiday break for Allard; mare hasn’t raced in a couple of weeks but I’ll assume she’s maintained her fitness and can take another in this small but select group. (2) FEELIN RED HOT made an uncharacteristic break last out; Burke trainee is the one to catch. (5) KAITLYN N certainly seems ready to go off those qualifiers but she lands the worst post.

Race 11 – F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts

(1) QUITE A SIGHT certainly needed that start over at The Meadowlands and she was a winner here in a similar spot to close out her 2019 campaign; Bartlett’s choice. (7) SUDDEN CHANGE N took the money from the eight hole and blasted down the road to dispose of cheaper; I would expect forward movement off the gate again. (2) NEVERFORGETWHOUR was no match to Sudden Change N last out but was still a clear second; she draws well again and should be a player. (5) ANNABETH faces a bit better looking for two straight; Stratton sticks with the mare.
