Race 1
(2) STRATOCASTER came charging down the center of the track to get the job done at a big price last time out. Veteran pacer seems to be back in winning form and now will get the services of Bartlett. Two in a row is not out of the question with a repeat effort. (1) STILL FRISKIE has wheeled off two straight victories and he now moves to the fence; main danger. (4) SHOW THE FASHION was sharp in his last trip for the placing so he must be considered in all the exotic slots.
Race 2
(4) GOLDEN KRONOS put in a sharp effort for win honors last out and the trotter does have the tactical speed to stay close against these; can take another. (7) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN moves down the ladder and he has good early trot; post hurts but he is very capable. (1) KINETIC KING gets a better draw and that could help his chances; watch out.
Race 3
Good news for pacing mare (2) ANNABETH as she gets post and class relief. Took the pocket-rocket route to victory at this level three starts back so she must be respected for win honors if she is at her best. (4) LYNBAR ROSE N did not have the best of trips last out but she is very capable of making a quick turnaround. (3) PHYLLIS JEAN is clearly knocking at the door based on her last two starts; not out of this.
Race 4
(2) MOTU MOONBEAM N has been right there in her last three tries so she is worth consideration for the score if she gets a favorable trip. (4) ACEFORTYFOURAMANDA was sent down the road in her last try for all the glory; big threat for the repeat. (3) MADE OF JEWELS AS moves down in class and gets a better post; stands to improve tonight.
Race 5
(5) BARRY BLACK rallied strongly to get up in time for the victory in his last start. Veteran trotter has every right to mow these down with another well-timed run. (3) IN SECRET comes out of two consecutive scores at the Meadowlands so he moves back to the half-mile oval and he figures to be right in the mix with these. (1) LIFE WELL LIVED did not fire in his Meadowlands finale but now he is back at Yonkers where he has the most success; watch out.
Race 6
(1) SALLY FLETCHER A came late on the scene for the show spot in her last try. Mare will try Open foes tonight and draws the rail where she got the job done two starts back; figures forwardly throughout. (4) DELIGHTFULMEMPHISN was on the engine every step of the way for win honors last time around; must be respected for the repeat. (6) BETTERB CHEVRON N is on a roll scoring her third straight victory recently; could be a handful if she is able to run back to her last effort.
Race 7
(4) DONGAL RUNDLSCRK N took the pocket route on her way to victory last time around. Mare seems to be in solid form so she may be good enough to handle the rise in class. Figures to be prominent for the start once again. Based on her last start (1) DUDESALADY seems to be heading in the right direction and she retains the fence; consider. (3) IDEAL LIFESTYLE A ran a splendid race in her North American debut at the Meadowlands last out so the move to the half-mile oval might be what she needs for that elusive 2019 victory; respect.
Race 8
(1) BETABCOOL N raced evenly in her last start and now the pacing mare moves to the fence. Has the positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip. Could prove a winning threat if she is able to stay close. (3) JEWELS FORREAL was sharp for the placing in her initial start here; figures to be a big factor against these. (7) BEST OF JENNA has put in two nice efforts in a row and she does have tactical speed; do not overlook.
Race 9
(2) CHEYENNE JEFFREY could be heading in the right direction based on his last try. Veteran pacer has done quite well at Yonkers and moving to the 2-hole very much puts him in the ballpark for win honors; using. (3) SKYFUL OF LIGHTERS was sent down the road in his latest for the victory and now he moves to door number three for the repeat; consider. (6) FIRST CLASS HORSE was on the engine every step of the way for the score last out; post hurts but clearly he is capable.
Race 10
(3) GOTTA MINUTE N was late on the scene to grab the placing in his last try. Gelding could be ready to put in a better performance tonight despite the rise in condition. (2) MCSPIDEY rallied strongly to nail down the place spot last time around; gets post relief and that should help his cause; big threat. (6) ROCK THE NITE did not have the best of trips in his latest but he must be respected since he does have a win here on 12/11.
Race 11
(1) PERFECT STICK seems to be heading in the right direction based on her last try. Mare draws the rail and that should give Bartlett many options to work out an ideal trip with this five-year old miss; the pick. (6) ADAGIO DE LA TOUR has lead every step of the way in his last three starts at this level so if he can get clear and control the tempo he has a license to make it four in a row. (3) TIDQUIST has been right there in his last five tries so he must be respected.
Race 12
(2) CAPOZZO did not have the best of trips in his last start but he is clearly better than his latest. If he can get a favorable trip, he could greet the cameraman for pictures. (4) VEGAS ROCKS has put in two good efforts from the 8-hole so now he gets post relief and Bartlett has the assignment; main danger. (1) LIMELIGHT BEACH was sent down the road in his recent outing for the victory and now he moves to the fence; not out of this by far.
