Race 1 – $10,000 Claiming

(7) NORTHERN ASSASSIN A battled stubbornly on the front end before wilting late in the mile last week. Banca trainee drops to the lowest claiming level and is reunited with Bartlett. (4) ALWAYS A FORCE was a solid second upon arrival for Surick and will likely take on the role of favorite tonight. (3) MY SPIRIT SOARS has raced well recently when drawn inside and he’s a board threat here. (2) MORE DRAGON seems to have found a home at this $10K claiming level.

Race 2 – NW15000 in last 5 starts

(3) MUSCLE AVE failed to get involved from an outside post last week but he draws much better tonight and will be a decent price in this competitive affair. (5) CRAZYCAT reverted back to his misbehaving ways last out; Godinez trainee is always a late threat when he minds his manners. (1) NO EXCUSES also broke last out but her prior efforts were good. (7) ABBIE’S CELTICLASS raced evenly in her local debut and will be a big price here from the outside; mare was Kakaley’s choice and can be considered for the bottom of the ticket.

Race 3 - $12,500 Claiming

(5) KEYSTONE HONOR has jogged in three straight off the Banca claim and despite hiking a notch in class should have no problem taking another. (1) OH JONNY B GOOD N raced pretty well in his local return when claimed and he draws best for his new connections. (2) BURNING DESIRE was outfinished coming to the wire after pulling pocket last week; he draws well again and will be a player. (6) TORRID BROMAC N has been okay in his two starts off the Blumenfeld claim and with some luck he can hit the ticket at a price.

Race 4 - $20,000/$25,000 Claiming Handicap

(7) TALK SHOW has been right there in all of his 2020 starts and already has three tallies on the season; Banca trainee lands a tough post but that can help his price facing some questionable rivals. (3) TALENT SOUP goes into a new barn looking to take his fourth straight and Holland sticks with him. (5) GOKUDO HANOVER was priced to sell by DiDomenico and he was taken for $20K; I’m willing to let him beat me. (2) ARI ALLSTAR is best a level or two down but you can’t question his sharpness.

Race 5 - $20,000 Claiming

(6) ONE LUCKY DRAGON came up big winning here last month with Bartlett in the bike and the Andrew Harris trainee faces a field full of unproven types at this level; top billing. (2) DAMION DIESEL HAHN hasn’t raced since last August but did qualify twice in preparation for his return to the pari-mutuel wars; perhaps he’ll be ready off the bench. (5) ALEPPO HANOVER closed well at this level three back. (4) LONE RAIDER hasn’t done a heck of a lot recently but should fit in here well; consider for a small share.

Race 6 – F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts

(2) SLICK ARTIST A was tons the best disposing of lesser in her local return and she’s sharp enough to handle the hike in class. (5) MADE OF JEWELS AS will appreciate the class relief and will be expected to be aggressively handled by Stratton. (3) FRANSCHOEK has outraced her odds in her last two and will offer value here again. (6) TELL ME A JOKE was a solid off-the-pace winner versus a notch lesser despite missing time.

Race 7 – F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts

(1) ANNABETH was in no-mans land last week versus better but was an odds-on winner two back versus similar. (6) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE didn’t fire last out but she likely needed that start after missing almost a month; mare was racing well in prior efforts and will be a nice price here. (3) AZURE SEELSTER double-jumps for Lachance off a front-end score and she’ll be tested for class here. (4) BELLATRICKS has been lacking recently in the late stages but her solid early speed always sets her up nicely.

Race 8 – NW21100 in last 5 starts

(3) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN pretty much gets a free ride off last week’s dominating performance and the classy veteran will be odds-on to repeat. (1) LILY’S SWAN POND may be sitting the pocket from start to finish. (4) DOT DOT DOT DASH has been a model of consistency down at Freehold and she gets Stratton in the bike tonight. (6) BROADWAY MOJO powered home for the dead-heat at a big price last week versus lesser and he seems sharp enough to land another share here.

Race 9 – F&M NW32500 in last 5 starts

(1) SANDY’S BEACH has been sharp in all recent and she gets away from nemesis Snobbytown tonight; with smooth sailing the Allard trainee seems capable of posting the mild upset. (6) FEELIN RED HOT tried off-the-pace tactics last week and it didn’t work out but the mare gets significant class relief tonight and I would expect a wire-to-wire try. (3) BETTOR TRIX N ships up from Dover in great form and she enters a new barn looking for three straight; Bartlett drives. (4) GLENFERRIE BLADE A qualified effectively for the strong Lance Hudson barn.

Race 10 – F&M Open Handicap Pace

(3) SANDY WIN had strong speed at both ends of her mile last week and she has a post edge here on her main rivals; worth following up on at what could be a decent price. (5) ROBYN CAMDEN was sharp winning right off the holiday break and while she’s missed a couple of weeks off that effort the Allard trainee should be a big player again. (6) CAY’S BLESSING has also been very sharp in two 2020 races and can be considered. Both (4) BETTERB CHEVRON N and (7) IMPRINCESSGEMMA A are coming off qualifiers and may need a start or two to hit top gear.

Race 11 – F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts

(5) SHES PUKKA N put in a very aggressive try from the eight hole last week and should be respected off that effort; she faces a couple of interesting rivals to her inside but that should help her price. (2) JOSSIE JAMES A is fresh Down-under stock for Banca and she looks ready to go off that qualifier. (1) MACHNHOPE arrives from Mohawk Park where she’s been knocking heads with some good ones. (3) MOTU MOONBEAM N faces much tougher here; small piece?

Race 12 – NW7500 in last 5 starts

(4) DOCTOR BUTCH went just evenly in his debut for new connections but the millionaire gets needed class relief tonight and should be ready to take charge. (5) SHANE ADAM was a bit short in his 2020 debut, getting held off by (1) BIG BAD BILL but the Banca trainee can be better here. The latter was game in victory upon arrival but will have to be even better to repeat. (6) MACHTU N has been around seemingly forever and he can be best of the rest.
