Race 1
(4) CLASSY HILL did not fire in his last try but two starts back this gelding was a fast-closing third; gets the call with Brennan at the controls. (1) LYONS AGAIN was nailed for win honors last time out and retains the rail tonight. (5) SOUTHWIND INDY was facing better in Ohio and must be considered in all the exotic slots.
Race 2
(8) JACLYN HANOVER Mare moves down in class and gets Brennan to drive. If he gets a favorable trip, he can greet the cameraman for pictures. (2) TYRA gets serious post relief and that should help his cause. (6) MOMAS GOT A GUN was late on the scene to grab the show spot in his latest.
Race 3
(7) OUR ELS DREAM N flashed good speed before tiring last time around. Pacing mare is good enough to get the job done with a well rated drive from MacDonald. (1) DEUCES FOR CHARITY has been sharp in her last two efforts and figures to be right in the mix from the fence. (2) CHANGE THE RULZ N closed sharply to nail down the victory against lesser last week.
Race 4
(2) MIKES POWERHOUSE was very game missing glory by a neck last time out. Gelding appears to be in solid form and a victory is clearly not out of the question. (3) ROCKIN ROBERT has put in nice efforts at the Meadowlands and should appreciate the move back to Yonkers; threat. (1) KEYSTONE HONOR rallied outside to miss the victory by 1/2 length; watch out.
Race 5
(5) MASTERSON was clearly out of it last time out but the good news is he leaves the 7-hole, has 9 scores last year and Bartlett knows this gelding so a quick turnaround is not out of the question. (1) THE ROCK takes a drop in class and he does have speed to be right in the hunt. (4) CHEYENNE JEFFREY was sent down the road in his last try for all the glory.
Race 6
(4) BEDROOMCONFESSIONS Mare is knocking at the door based on her last start missing glory by 1/2 length; all systems go. (7) SET ME UP took the pocket route on her way to victory last out. (5) MOTU MOONBEAM N has put in three sharp efforts; not out of this.
Race 7
(2) BORDER CONTROL A is knocking at the door based on his last two starts. Moves back to door number two where he was a game third two trips ago; big threat at his best. (5) OH JONNY B GOOD N was late on the scene to nail down the victory last time around. (8) WINDSONG JACK has wheeled off two straight victories and despite the rise in class and the move to the 8-hole, he could contend with these.
Race 8
(2) BADIOU HANOVER gets serious post relief and was a sharp second two starts back. Gelding has every right to put it all together against these. (3) VALIDUS DEO closed outside to grab the score in his last try against lesser company. (6) DYNAMIC YOUTH gets class relief and that should help his cause.
Race 9
(5) MOONLITEONTHEBEACH was outrun in his last try but he did take down a pocket-rocket score three starts ago. Gelding could make a complete turnaround with a well judged drive from Bartlett. (3) MAKE SOME LUCK did not get the job done at odds on in his last trip but appears to be a serious threat with a favorable trip. (1) TALK SHOW rallied strongly to nail down the victory in his recent outing.
Race 10
(1) FOR THE LADIES N Pacing mare has been very sharp in her last three trips to the post and now she receives the rail spot; can boss these with Brennan in the bike. (3) SO NICE has good speed to be a solid factor in here. (2) REGIL ELEKTRA moves down in class and gets post relief; watch out.
