Race 1
(5) RANSOM DEMAND did show signs of life in his last start flashing speed. He could take this if the gelding is able to control the tempo. (1) VITALITY was rallying nicely at the end of his most recent. Now he gets a better draw so he appears to be a serious threat. (4) BIG TURN ON was a game second in his last try so he certainly fit with these; watch out.
Race 2
Trotting veteran (3) PERMANENT JOY finally gets an inside draw in search of that elusive 39th lifetime score. If he is at his best and he's able to stay close then he has a license to steal this. (5) TOUGH GET GOING has good early zip and just ran out of gas in his latest; main danger. (8) LADYS BIG STORMONT should fit well in here despite the outside draw.
Race 3
(3) BEGINNERS LUCK came close to getting the job done last week. Gelding seems to be heading in the right direction and he could be a handful if he gets away cleanly. (2) RURAL ART put in a nice rally to lose glory by a nose recently; serious threat. (1) I FOUND MY BEACH gets post relief so he can be seriously dangerous from the rail.
Race 4
(2) CHUCARO ACERO BC is very sharp with consistent early speed and late kick. He can be the boss over this group if he is able to bring his A-game to the table. (4) TRIPLE SEELSTER was late on the scene to grab the victory by a nose last week; must be considered. (1) SKYFUL OF LIGHTERS seems to be knocking at the door based on his last two outings; not out of this.
Race 5
We will give (1) MORE THAN MANY a shot to put it all together. Pacing mare now receives an inside draw in which very much puts her in the ballpark with these. (3) HIDDEN LAND grabbed good position from the 8-hole and cruised her way to an easy victory recently; factor for the repeat. (6) DUDESALADY has two sharp consecutive second-place finishes and that makes this gal a serious threat.
Race 6
(7) MONICA GALLAGHER came up empty in her latest but she is much better than her last flop. Hopefully she will be able to use her tactical speed to her best advantage; stands to improve tonight. (6) MADE OF JEWELS AS got the job done moving up in class last out. Could prove a threat if she is able to return to last effort. (4) DELIGHTFULMEMPHISN is sharp and consistent being in the exacta picture in her last five trips to the post; watch out.
Race 7
(2) BYE BYE MICHELLE did not race badly in her last try but now she moves to door number two and reunites with Joe Bongiorno. Can take this if she is able to get clear and dictate the fractions on a loose lead. (1) BRONZE OVER N just got beat by a neck as the odds-on choice last week. Now she moves to the fence so that makes her a serious threat. (4) WISHY WASHY GIRL seems to be better with an inside draw, so with that said she is certainly not out of this.
Race 8
(2) FEEL THE NEED A might have been used up in the early stages last time around. Veteran pacer can make a quick turnaround with a better draw tonight. (4) CHEYENNE REIJANE put in a good try in his last trip so there's room for this guy to put his best foot forward. (3) ACE OF CLUBS came outside at the three-quarter pole on his way to victory at a nice price recently, so he must be considered for the repeat.
Race 9
(4) SHESJUSTADELIGHT N moves her trade downstate with a fine resume up north. If she brings her A-game to the table she will be very tough indeed. (3) CLEAR IDEA was sent down the road in her Philly finale for the victory; must be respected. (5) SAIL TO THE BEACH was second best in her last try so she is clearly worth consideration.
Race 10
(2) BETTOR REASON N was quite empty in his last trip to the post, so if he's able to get a clean getaway the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (1) WESTERN DYNASTY should find these to his liking, has the rail and Bartlett is keeping the faith; factor. (4) ZIGGY SKY could make a quick turnaround with the move to the 4-hole; respect.
Race 11
(2) LINE DANCER is always within striking range, so with that said she can make her presence felt if she is able to get a favorable trip. (1) COVEREDNDIAMONDS N did not race badly in her last effort and now she moves to the fence. Figures to be prominent from the start once again. Eight year old miss (8) MACH IT A PAR has seen her better days and nights and clearly she fits well at this condition despite a tough draw; not out of this.
