Race 1
(1) RURAL ART gets serious post relief and moves down the ladder; choice. (3) TOP OF THE MARK has wheeled off three consecutive victories and he clearly is the one to catch. (2) OUR REGAL IDEAL N moves back inside and that should help his chances against these.
Race 2
(2) YS TALLIA is on the dropdown and gets the luck of the draw; can handle this group with a favorable trip. (1) SHEEZA SHARK N has tactical speed and she has every right to be a serious threat from the fence. (5) BYE BYE MICHELLE is knocking at the door based on her last three tries.
Race 3
(8) STARSKYS DREAM N was very sharp for second money last time out. Post hurts tonight but he fits well in here; gets the call. (2) DEDIS DRAGON moves back inside and that might be the place to be for this veteran; threat. (1) NORTHERN VIRGIN raced evenly in his last try and he could put his best foot forward from the pole position.
Race 4
(2) CAVIART CHERIE might have found a home in the NW$20K ranks. She retains the 2-hole and there is a good chance she can boss these with a well-judged drive. Pocono invader (1) LADY SHADOW should be right in the thick of it and it is good to see Bartlett at the controls. (4) JEWEL LEHIGH A rallied strongly to get the job done recently so she is clearly not out of this.
Race 5
Sharp for second in her latest, (3) SAIL TO THE BEACH has the speed to make tonight a winning one down the road. (4) SCANDALICIOUS was no match against the winner in her last start but she does fit well in here. (2) BELLATRICKS will need a better trip then she did in her last try but she is very capable of being right in the mix.
Race 6
(2) ALEXIS FAITH made a bold move at the half-mile pole and grabbed the lead but tired in deep stretch in her latest at Hoosier. Sophomore filly will try again at Yonkers and she can mow these down if the right trip comes her way. (6) ROCKSTAR ANGEL A has scored two straight at this level so she does know how to get the job done here. (3) KEYSTONE WANDA just could not get past a pumped-up Rockstar Angel A in her latest.
Race 7
Pacing gelding (5) ADONIS BAY is in very good form so with that said, with a favorable trip, he can greet the camera operator for pictures. (1) BETTOR REASON N did not have enough gas in the tank and lost glory by a head in his recent try; big threat from the rail. (2) AMERICAN VENTURE closed well to miss the score by a nose last time out; consider.
Race 8
(4) TRACK MASTER D seems to be heading in the right direction and this class level should give him a shot to mow these down if there's a complete meltdown of the early leaders. (3) IDEAL KISS was sharp against tougher last time out so he should fit well in here. (2) FIRST CLASS HORSE gets class and post relief and that should help his cause.
Race 9
(4) SELL A BIT N was overmatched against Open foes last out but she seems to know how to get the job done at this level; the pick. (3) LAKEISHA HALL makes her return to the Hilltop where she has the most success. (1) VORST was late on the scene to grab the show spot recently against better and she can make some serious noise from the fence.
Race 10
(3) ALL ABOUT MADI seems to be knocking at the door based on her last two trips to the post; if she gets a perfect trip the rest of these will have to settle for minor awards. Trainer Burke sends (5) MONICA GALLAGHER to Yonkers off some fine efforts at Pocono and Philly respectably. (6) SALLY FLETCHER A has been facing Open foes upstate and she does know how to handle the Hilltop oval.
