Yonkers logo

Best Bet: HP SISSY (12th)

Spot Play: CALL ME QUEEN BE (6th)

MEET STATS: 236 - 968 / $1,474.60

BEST BETS: 43 - 85 / $161.10

Race 1

(3) R CAAN put in a good run finishing third in his last trip. Gelding can return to his winning ways if given a comfortable trip. (1) HUGH HEFNER N took the three-hole trip on his way to victory last week; threat again. (2) HI HO STEVERINO just missed glory by a neck; watch out.

Race 2

(4) WILD SMILE should fit well in this event. Trotter came in a good third two starts back, so if the right trip comes his way, the rest will have to settle for minor awards. (5) TOBER did flash good speed in his Pocono finale and clearly this trotter must be respected against these. (1) P L ICABOD gets post relief in here and that might help his cause; we shall see.

Race 3

(1) MACHTU N Gelding moves to the fence and he should show more speed against this group; can make tonight a winning one. (6) TWOMACSONEMACH rallied strongly to miss the victory by a neck last time out; big factor. (4) ROCKIN RAMBARAN leaves the 8-hole for a cozy post; not out of this.

Race 4

(1) SPEAKING OUT has scored his last two in a row against lesser company. Gelding appears to be in solid form since the move to the Hilltop. So despite the rise in class, the hat trick is clearly not out of the question. (5) A BETTOR HAT has put in two good efforts in a row. That might be an indication he is ready to move forward; maybe. (3) SPORTSMANSHIP was late on the scene to run down his competition at big odds last out; don't overlook.

Race 5

(3) DEMOCRACY N was uncovered most of the way but grinded out the win in his latest. 9-year-old veteran is a proven winner at this level and with a more favorable trip, he can once again greet the cameraman for pictures. (2) LACHIE MAGUIRE N's last two starts he just lost glory by a neck; major player. (1) SAWBUCK HANOVER could be right in the mix from the fence; factor in exotics.

Race 6

(4) CALL ME QUEEN BE moves down the scale and this appears to be a perfect spot for this 4-year-old mare to get back into the winner's circle; using. (8) ALL ABOUT MADI is on a roll scoring her third straight victory; post hurts but she is capable. (3) LISPATTY gets serious post relief and she might show speed against these; watch out.

Race 7

(1) FREEZE OUT was even for fourth money last out and this will be her second start off the dropdown. So from the pole position this gal can boss these right down the road. (8) TIPITINA has been quite good in her last three trips to the post. She gets a tough post but her form is so sharp right now it makes her a serious threat. (3) ANALYZE came outside, took charge turning for home and never looked back in her last try; must be considered.

Race 8

(2) SUMATRA Gelding is on the dropdown and gets a cozy post so it appears this trotter is heading in the right direction; factor for win honors. (3) KARETS was sent down the road in her Pocono finale for all the glory; can make some noise with Brennan at the controls. (1) CAN DO has a victory two starts back at the Meadowlands so this 8-year-old can't be dismissed in here.

Race 9

(1) VORST took a tough loss in her last start but she was coming from door number eight. Now she moves to the fence and Brennan is keeping the faith with her; the pick. (5) HOOVES ON FIRST rallied up the fence to get the job done in her latest; dangerous. (3) HIDDEN LAND She also gets a solid post to work with and clearly this mare must be respected.

Race 10

(2) MADMAN HALL Trotter moves to the 2-hole after he raced evenly in his last start. A favorable trip will put this gelding right back into the winner's circle. (4) ARRAKIS ran out of gas in deep stretch and had to settle for the placing recently; big threat. (7) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN was a sharp second in his last start; post hurts tonight but this trotter seems to be capable of making serious noise.

Race 11

(3) VENUS DELIGHT drops in class, gets a winning post and Holland is back in the sulky where these two have the best success; gets the call. (4) MACH IT A PAR seems to be heading back in the right direction since coming off two straight victories on 8/25 and 9-1 respectably; factor. (7) LIGHTNING MACH N pulled the 3-hole on her way to glory last out; must be considered.

Race 12

(5) HP SISSY Trainer Allard pushes the down button on this pacing mare and she has done quite well in the Open ranks; the one to deny. (1) LITTLE SANTAMONICA put in a sharp qualifier at Vernon on 9/29 in her return to the races; player from the fence. (3) CAROBBEAN PACETRY just missed the victory by a neck in her last trip to the post; watch out.
