Race 1
(5) BUGSY MAGUIRE is capable of taking these to task if he receives a perfect trip. (4) TOP OF THE MARK has wheeled off two straight victories. Has excellent speed so the hat trick is clearly not out of the question. (3) LONE SURVIVOR will need a better trip than in his latest; capable.
Race 2
(2) HOOFIN IT grinded out a win taking the long mile home last time out so this trotter seems to be in fine form; can take another. (1) LORD CROMWELL gets class and post relief and that should help his cause; capable. (7) IN SECRET has good early trot and he fits well in here; not out of this.
Race 3
(1) ASTON HILL DAVE gets the best of the draw and the pacer seems to be the speed of the speed; can top these at his best. (4) JK HEAVEN SENT has done quite well in his last two trips at Philly; main danger. (6) ARDIE B SPEED was sent down the road in his last try for all the glory; post hurts but he could be right in the mix.
Race 4
(7) SHOW THE FASHION closed well to grab the placing in his Pocono finale. Pacing gelding moves back to Yonkers where he has the best success; gets the call with Mr. Brennan at the helm. (4) MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT flashed good speed but did not have enough gas in the tank in his recent outing at Pocono; threat. (1) ZOEEZ BOY HENRY retains the rail but will need a better trip to contend with these; possible.
Race 5
(7) FREEZE OUT was a good second in her last try and the mare seems to be on the improve. So with a complete meltdown of the early leaders, she can mow them down for all the marbles. (3) JEWEL LEHIGH A moves down the ladder and gets serious post relief; the one to fear. (2) MAGIC FORCES might have been used up in the early stages last time around. Can be a serious player if she can control the tempo.
Race 6
(1) ANNABETH did not fire in her attempt on the dropdown last out but hey she was in the far outside slot. Now mare moves back to the fence and it's good to see Marohn Jr. at the controls; gets the call. (3) CAVIART CHERIE showed good early pace but tired in the final stretch run last time out; main danger. (4) MADE OF JEWELS AS should fare much better from the 3-hole; watch out.
Race 7
(4) ITTY BITTY just missed the victory in her last trip to the post. Mare seems to be heading in the right direction. If the right trip comes her way, she can make tonight a winning one. (2) REGIL ELEKTRA has fine tactical speed and she fits well in here; big threat. (3) SCANDALICIOUS moves way down in class and that should help her cause; not out of this.
Race 8
Will try (6) KEYSTONE WANDA to put it all together and mow these down with a complete meltdown of the early leaders. (5) ROCKSTAR ANGEL A was quite sharp in victory at this level recently; main danger. Former Delaware invader (1) ARTRAGEOUS is knocking at the door based on her last three starts; do not overlook.
Race 9
(5) ADONIS BAY was late on the scene to grab the show spot in his last trip. Gelding is a proven winner based on his Oct 11th big score. If he is at his best, he can be the boss over this group. (3) TWOMACSONESHADOW tipped outside at the quarter-pole to grab the lead on his way to victory in his recent try; can repeat. Based on his last three tries (7) GRAVE DANCER is knocking at the door; contender.
Race 10
Trotting gelding (3) SUMATRA moves down the ladder, has the speed and Goodell stays on this seven-year old; can beat these if he is at his best. (2) DEEP QUESTION did not have the best of trips in his latest but he is capable of making some noise. (6) ROYAL BACHELOR gets a better draw so that might help his chances; watch out.
Race 11
(6) MORE THAN MANY did not race that badly in her last start. Pacer has good speed to grab an early spot in hopes of mowing these down when the smoke clears. (3) WISHY WASHY GIRL took the pocket route on her way to victory in her recent outing; factor her in here again. (1) ALL ABOUT MADI came close to getting the job done in her last start and now she moves to the fence; threat.
