Race 1: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) HEMSWORTH N was 40 cents on the dollar last week and came up a touch short from the pocket, but now he drops back down a level and lands the two hole in this short field; Borgata contender has no excuses here. (1) PHOENIX OF FLUZZY surprised softer last start on the engine now he lands in a stalking spot with Bartlett picking up the drive. (3) WALKINSHAW N is capable on his best day; needs the top one to falter.

Race 2: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) SAMHARA N finished close up in his last two at big prices and now he's facing a bit lesser here; Hudson trainee seems as good as any in this 5-horse affair. (2) CERTIFIABLE hasn't tasted victory in over three months but he's been close on a number of occasions. (4) OAKWOODNITTOWNIT IR is making his way back up the class ladder as he goes for a second straight; interesting to see how aggressive Kakaley is off the gate.

Race 3: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) VENIER HANOVER shows up with a bruising effort once in a while and picking up Bartlett while facing softer makes him very attractive. (4) SPORT SECRET broke as the favorite in his local debut but last week he showed flashes of what he's capable of with that good finish last week; Stratton drives again. (3) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N usually races as well as he draws and it won't take a huge effort to hit the board from this spot.
Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) ROAN COLOR has been somewhat inconsistent over in Ohio and the connections send him to Shane Tritton. He gets to start out at the lowest conditioned class and lands the rail with Bartlett, though he has missed some time. An "X" factor for sure. (2) ROCKAPELO is overloaded with class and note he moves over to the Jenn Bongiorno barn. He would be lock-city if a catch driver was in the bike and not the owner. (3) GLACIS was much-improved last out, but still managed to not win.
Race 5: $50,000 Claiming Trot
(6) CANTKEEPMIASECRET broke as the favorite two back then was in a different zip code last start from the eight hole. Mare doesn't land the best spot here but she does have a recent win with this kind and faces a wide-open field here with no standouts. Kakaley gets the catch drive on the Bongiorno trainee and maybe she's worth a look at 20/1 on the ML. (3) KOSHER MAHONEY has been good since entering the Engblom barn and he may fit well here as he moves into claimers. (2) CRESCENT BEAUTY has been bad, good, bad, good every other start so is it time for a clunker this week?
Race 6: NAADA AMATEUR FALL SERIES LEG #3 Trot
(6) SHEENA SOLDIER finished well last week to make it close and he's got a competent driver in the bike again in Slendorn. I can envision him being hustled off the gate. (4) CLASSY GUY is 100% leaving with Yogi Sheridan driving again; threat to go all the way. (3) SOUTHERN PATRICIA is a 3YO filly who hasn't done much, but at least she seems well-behaved.
Race 7: $50,000 Claiming Trot
(4) SWANSEA was a winner first off the Berkeley claim after a long run in the DiDomenico barn then last week he was a victim of that traffic fiasco trying to get here. He's back in for a tag looking to double up and can head for the front again. (2) GAELIHILLL was also scratched last week but now ends up with a much-improved post for Burke. He'll also be part of the early pace. (1) MISSION VOYAGE gets Stratton to catch drive and maybe the new set of hands helps him out.
Race 8: NAADA AMATEUR FALL SERIES LEG #3 Trot
(1) ITSONEOFTHOSE has been racing at the top levels at Monticello for 78-year-old owner/trainer/driver Alan Schwartz and can still bring it. He'll be heading down the road. (5) ALLINDOTIME was a pocket-sitting winner last week at Pocono with Verruso and he looks pretty goof here class-wise. (3) TURBOCHARGEDPETE was second here last week from a similar spot for Faraldo.
Race 9: NW24571 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) GREAT SOMEWHERE has been a good earner for these connections since being claimed for $75K about six months ago. He faces a bit softer here and I expect regular driver Brent Holland to have him forwardly placed off the gate. (6) ROCK DIAMONDS N is another Jenn Bongiorno trainee who picks up a catch driver with Joe B not here tonight and the classy vet has left the gate well in his last four races. With good early placement he will have a shot at a price. (1) JAHAN HANOVER needs a class drop to get back to the winner's circle but he can land a nice piece with Bartlett back driving.
