Race 1 - 12500CLM Pace

(8) ARI ALLSTAR paced a 28 second final quarter in his debut for trainer Scott Di Domenico last Tuesday. I think he's worth a shot, even from out here. (1) MACHING TIME seems to be getting a little better each time out for trainer Izzy Estrada and has the pole position again. (3) DERECHO comes in from Ohio and into Jenn Bongiorno's barn. Her horses were a little bit off their game last Wednesday, so I'll hope this horse needs a start.

Race 2 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace

(5) PARTY QUEEN missed out on making the New York Sire Stakes final, but she handled NW4 company here on 8-25 and gets another shot at the same level tonight. (6) SEA OF LOVE BC has finished second in her last two tries, including to Party Queen in that common race on August 25. (1) TENTHOUSAND ANGELS steps up from the NW5000L5's but won pretty impressively from the pocket. She's another Bongiorno contender early on the card.

Race 3 - NW5525L5/12500CLM Trot

(5) WHETHER OR NOT FI appeared like he might be on his way to victory a week ago when he suffered broken equipment and had to be pulled up. Since he drops tonight, let's hope that he can avoid any issues like that again and give him a shot. (3) YANKEE GIRLFRIEND was in NW6 class the last time she was at Yonkers, so she finds a cozy spot for her return, and also finally draws inside after a number of outside posts. (4) MOMM'S MY DAD is another one who was racing against much better when he was at Yonkers earlier this summer, and he ships north off a confidence-building win at Freehold.

Race 4 - F&M NW2/25000LT / NW1/12500LT Draw Inside Pace

(7) THE KINGS QUEEN probably needed that race last week after missing time coming down from Canada. She made up quite a bit of ground in the back-half of the mile, and I'll look for some improvement tonight. (3) ROLL WITH SHORTY is just one-for-21 lifetime, but she did rally in the stretch after a following trip a week ago. (6) BEACHBLANKETLINDY also has a bad win record but she's hit the board in 11 of her 13 appearances in 2021.

Race 5 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(1) ISLAY N owns just one win this year, but she's been competitive when she has an inside post like she does here, and hopefully she continues to offer some value. (4) MORE THAN MANY drops after one try against NW8500L5's a week ago. She's another one who has struggled to find the winners circle but was a solid second two back. (2) HIGH ROLLING A exits the same race More Than Many does but made a break in that event. I can't overlook that third against NW15000L5's last month, though, and will include.

Race 6 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(3) IN MY DREAMS held on to finish third after getting parked the mile in the monsoon a couple of Wednesdays ago. I'll take it as a positive sign that they were aggressive with him that night, and he gets to drop a level. (4) IM THE MUSCLE makes his second start for trainer Paul Stafford after gaining spots and ground in the final quarter a week ago. He moves down from the NW10000L5's and slides inside on the gate. (2) OUR WHITE KNIGHT ships up from Harrah's Philadelphia and goes for Di Domenico for the first time. Both of this horse's wins this year have come on the half-mile track at Harrington, so that might be his preferred track size.

Race 7 - F&M NW6/75000LT Pace

(3) DELITFULCATHERIN N overcame post eight pretty effortlessly last Wednesday to remain undefeated in the U.S. She remains at the same level and drew well tonight, so she'll be very tough. (6) LARJON LEAH has a second and a win in her last couple of starts, but this will be in her first start since 8-25. (5) EASY TO PLEASE hit the board in three straight New York Sire Stakes attempts in June and July and won a division of the Reynolds here back in early May.

Race 8 - 30000CLM Pace

(3) CAVIART STETSON was third in a quick NW7500L5 race last Tuesday. He makes his second start back after a bit of a layoff tonight, and this barn has shown the ability to have horses ready for big miles this year. (1) MAJOR CROCKER A woke up on September 6 with a rallying third-place finish. He hasn't won this year, but when he got sharp earlier this year, he was quite good for a number of weeks. (6) TONY TOO TALL defeated $40,000 claimers in his debut for Bongiorno on 8-30 but drops a level tonight. That and the time off have me thinking he's a play-against tonight.

Race 9 - NW4/50000LT Pace

(5) RUTHMAE HANOVER picked up a check from the eight-hole last week in her debut for trainer Travis Alexander. She gets to move inside on the gate tonight, and I'll give her a shot. (6) DC BATGIRL took advantage of a drop out of the New York Sire Stakes program to win that event my top pick comes out of. She's in the same class tonight and should be a factor. (1) FILLY went two-for-two for Bongiorno against NW2's. She could win here, but I will swing against as she moves up a notch.

Race 10 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(8) ARMAGEDON SEELSTER remains plagued with terrible fortune at the draw, but he was able to win two back from post seven at Harrah's Philaelphia and got a check against better from the eight-hole here in mid-July, so I'll give him a try. (4) HOMER HALL brushed to the lead last week but being wide around the second turn caught up to him in the lane and he tired. I have to think they'll go back to following along like on 8-20 when he was second against NW15000L5's. (3) VOYAGE TO PARIS advanced from last to fifth in the final quarter a week ago. He might be sharper tonight as he gets back on a regular racing schedule.

Race 11 - NW5000L5 Pace

(1) CLIFFHANGER had a bad night on 9-3 as he made multiple breaks. He's done that before and then come back to be fine, so I'll hope that is the case here and use, especially since he gets his first inside post in a while. (4) YAYAS HOT SPOT N hasn't won in 2021 but probably won't find a better spot as he exits a NW7500L5 event where he came home in 27 and change. (3) DARK ENERGY N didn't get involved from post seven last Tuesday, but he slides inside on the gate tonight after pacing an eye-catching 27 1/5 last quarter.
