Race 1 - F&M NW4/50000LT / NW2/25000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(4) SHANGHAI SEELSTER owns two straight impressive wins since joining the Ron Burke barn, and I'll look for her to make it three. (6) NITE TIME DEAL faces mixed NW4's and NW2's here rather than the mixed NW4's and NW6's she has in her last pair of tries. (7) HAMPTONS BABE drops out of the sire stakes here but is stuck outside.

Race 2 - 20000CLM Pace

(1) REAL LUCKY N drops out of the $30,000 claimers and has significant post relief to go with it. He also gets reunited with George Brennan. (4) LOVE THE BLUES N also exits races against $30,000 claiming company and has been pacing some solid last quarters since coming in from Pennsylvania. (3) KEYSTONE DASH goes for leading driver Jason Bartlett and leading trainer Gareth Dowse. He stomped $12,500 claimers last time out but wasn't nearly as successful when he raced at higher levels in his three tries prior to that. I'll take a swing against.

Race 3 - NW5281L5/12500CLM Trot

(6) DYLAN THE GREAT squeezed into this race by $1 (he has $5,280 earned in his last five starts), and he shows finishing third against NW14000L5's and NW9400L5's over at Pocono. (1) BROKNHEARTSVILLE invades from Saratoga and is now in the barn of trainer Per Engblom. That has been stepping up plenty of horses lately, and he also adds Bartlett. (3) LUCKY WEEKEND continues to work his way down the ladder and has landed at the bottom level tonight. He also slides in on the gate.

Race 4 - 50000CLM Trot

(6) D P ROCKET came back off a little freshening to score on 6-20 and I'll hope she won't be 3-5 like last time given the shift to an outside post. (1) LOOK IN MY EYES has hit the board in three straight outings, including a win two back, and makes his second start for Jared Bako. (3) EMOTIONS RICHES hasn't won since joining the Dowse barn but has been the runner-up in his last pair and slides in from post eight here.

Race 5 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace

(4) BLAZING SPIRIT gained several positons in the final quarter on June 21 and tallied two back at Harrah's Philadelphia. She should offer some value. (5) HESTON HONEY has a win and three seconds in her last four tries and was Bartlett's choice. (1) LET ME BE ME qualified in dazzling fashion for Jenn Bongiorno at Gaitway Farm on 6-27. She broke stride in one try on a half-mile track in Canada last year, but if she's as good tonight as in that qualifier, she'll be tough.

Race 6 - 75000CLM Trot

(3) MUSCLE JACK has won both starts since joining Travis Alexander's barn, and I'll take him again here. (6) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN is six-for-six in hitting the board since Ron Burke claimed him back in late May and packs enough early speed to get position from the outside draw. (5) STONEBRIDGE GAMBLE saw his run of strong efforts end on June 27, but I think he'll be positioned off-the-pace tonight, and that trip resulted in two straight wins prior to his seventh-place finish last time out.

Race 7 - F&M NW6/75000LT Pace

(5) FANCY AND FAST invades from Pocono for a trainer who is always capable of having one ready for a big mile in John Butenschoen, and she doesn't have any stakes engagements to prep for like most of the 3-year-olds in here. (2) MIKI ROSE loses Bartlett, but she has been first or second in her last six appearances and gets a solid replacement in Matt Kakaley. (6) PULL ME THROUGH closed well to finish second in this class on June 21, and trainer Mike Forte has been putting some live horses on the track.

Race 8 - 50000CLM Trot

(5) KEYSTONE BLADE adds Kakaley in the bike tonight and has hit the board in five of his last seven starts. (6) WILD AND CRAZY GUY was odds-on for Bartlett and Dowse when he dropped down to this level on June 27 but had to settle for third. He can probably win, but I'll take a shot against him. (4) MUSCLE STAR picked up a couple of positions in the final quarter in his race on 6-20 and makes his second appearance back off a qualifier tonight.

Race 9 - NW4/50000LT Pace

(8) AIN'T HE SPECIAL tallied the last two times he raced in overnight events (one here and one in Canada) and was Jordan Stratton's choice. I'll give him a shot, even from post eight. (2) JM'S ROLLIN went a long way on the lead before getting caught on June 28 and while he loses Stratton, he gets Bartlett instead. (7) BORN A REBEL rallied to win against JM's Rollin in that event on 6-28 and has the hot tandem of Kakaley and Alexander in his corner.
