She drew well tonight and was Dan Dube's choice over others. (1) RACIN FOR ROYALTY saw her run of on-the-board results end on 7-3, but she did gain ground in a fourth-place finish. She slides in from post six to the pole position here. (6) DW'S DARLENE hasn't won in 2025 but has been in the top three in 12 of 17 tries and has been the runner-up in five of her last six trips behind the gate. She debuts for new connections off a claim tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 30000CLM Pace (7) SHADOW CAT starts from the outside but drops out of tougher spots for leading trainer Per Engblom, and I have to believe he'll be put in play. (1) ALEX TYE has been sharp in recent weeks, including a pair of seconds at this level. Add in another inside draw, and he's very usable. (3) I DRAINTHESWAMP A was third a couple of times in three appearances against $30,000 claimers in May and June. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at 1/ST BET PRO!] Race 3 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (2) I B LOVIN invades from Northfield in sharp form, starts from an inside post and kept Brent Holland over a horse he won with last time. (5) ON DAYBOO is the one Holland opted off of, but he's won two in-a-row and faces age-restricted company here after he beat open $20,000 claimers most recently. (6) TWO FACED struggled last time out but plummets in class for Engblom, and I wouldn't be surprised if he fares much better. Race 4 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (3) WOODMERE HARRIET drops and gets significant post relief tonight and prevailed the last time she raced at this level back in early May. (1) MC ANGEL moves in from the eight-hole to post one this time and gets reunited with Holland. (5) DISTANT LOVER shows a pair of victories in this class and races out of the Engblom stable. Any smoother trip here than the first-over one she had last Tuesday would increase her chances. Race 5 - NW11879L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 / NW6 PM Races LT Pace (1) BONDI LOCKDOWN A gets a class drop/post relief combo off a closing fourth-place finish most recently and shows a win over NW20000L5's at Yonkers as recently as late April. (2) HELLABALOU was third to a sharp rival last Tuesday and slides down a level tonight. (3) ALL ALONE closed to get fifth in the same race my top selection exits from last Monday and moves in from the eight-hole to post three. Race 6 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (4) KAIRAKICONFIDNTL N doesn't have a great win record this year but takes a second shot at this class from an improved post and for a stable that can have one ready to fire. (2) COALFORDSNSHINE GB has hit the board in five of her last seven starts and owns victories at this level on both 7-8 and 6-19. She debuts for new connections off a claim as well. (1) ANNELIESE HANOVER starts from post one again and was a solid second in a $20,000 claimer in her last effort on July 3. Race 7 - 15000CLM Pace (2) GARDYS LEGACY A has been first or second in his three starts since the qualifier on June 11 and moves in from the seven-hole to post two. (5) STONEBRIDGE REX returns off a victory at Tioga in his last try and was Holland's pick over my top selection. (3) THIRD EDITION won in this class back on the 24th of May and has hit the board in three straight tries. He switches drivers to Jordan Stratton also. Race 8 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (3) YUENGLING debuts for a stable that does well with first-timers here and gets significant post relief off her last three starts down in Delaware. Her last two results were poor, but those were from outside draws and it wasn't that long ago she had a three-race win streak. (2) QUICK MENU has hit the board in five of her last seven trips behind the gate and starts from another inside post. (1) HARPER SEELSTER prevailed consecutive times at this level in June and moves in from recent mid-pack or outside posts to the pole position. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9 - NW10000L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 / NW6 PM Races LT Pace (4) POP IT receives class relief in this contest and also gets to move in a couple of notches on the starting gate. I'm going to bank on an aggressive approach being taken and use. (1) WATTSUP SUNSHINE A moves up from the NW7500L5 class but slides in from post five to the pole position to offset that and led a long way last Tuesday before he wound up second. (2) WINDSUN RICKY steps up again but has won two in-a-row, including over WATTSUP SUNSHINE A on 7-8. Race 10 - 15000CLM Pace (2) CENTURY IGLESIAS gained ground in a fourth-place finish two back and then was too far back to threaten last time. He gets post relief tonight and I think is worth a shot. (1) HOOSIER CELEBRITY has been out of the top three just once in his last seven tries and won in a $15,000 claimer most recently. He also moves in on the gate to the pole position. (4) HEAVE AWAY rallied to win at this level on the 5th of July and has been sharp for a while outside of one race where he made a break on the 7th of June.
