Race 1 - F&M 20000CLM Pace

(3) SHAKE ME LOOSE didn't threaten in a fast mile most recently at Pocono but was in sharp form prior to that and can hopefully threaten as she comes east. (5) DISARONNO HILL has just missed after cutting the mile in her last two outings and now gets a driver switch to Jason Bartlett. (2) BEANTOWN BABE may have needed her start a week ago as she'd been off since a runner-up effort on 5-12 due to an injury scratch.

Race 2 - NW2/34056LT / Maiden Draw Inside Trot

(8) VERY BUSY has made breaks in his last two tries at Yonkers but gets reunited with Bartlett, who won with him from an outside post at Yonkers on May 9, and is a 4-year-old meeting up with a bunch of 3-year-olds who may be prepping for or in between stakes outings. (4) CHANT exits the New York Sire Stakes and was third in her last overnight try at the Meadowlands on 5-8. (1) AJAX BLUE CHIP starts from the pole again and has two on-the-board results sandwiched around a break.

Race 3 - F&M 20000CLM Pace

(2) IDEAL SKIES won three straight in this class from 4-30 through 5-14 and returns to it here from a better post than she had against $25,000 claiming foes on May 26. (6) BOUT DAMN TIME A drops in her second start for a high-percentage stable, adds Bartlett and had a recent stretch of five on-the-board results in six appearances. (3) SP DANCINWITHSTARZ came up just a nose short of a victory a week ago and should have every chance to be on or near lead again.

Race 4 - 20000CLM Pace

(1) MOVIN' ON UP enters on a run of six on-the-board efforts in his last seven races, including a victory against $20,000 claimers two back. Here, he debuts for a high-percentage stable off a claim and gets to partner with Bartlett. (4) SIMPLY FAST took one shot against $25,000 claiming foes from the eight-hole on June 4 and now drops back down to the class where he won on May 23 from an improved post. (3) PINK FLOYD HANOVER hasn't won in a while but has been second or third five times since late March.

Race 5 - NW5051L5 / 12500CLM Pace

(5) MAJORCROWDCONTRL A rallied to miss just by a head in his last outing on June 6 and gets a third chance to face bottom level foes tonight. He races out of a high-percentage stable and gets a driver switch to Matt Kakaley. (4) AMERITRIC got the nod from Bartlett over others, including my top selection. He gets to move in a couple of notches on the gate this time and shows two thirds against tougher NW7500L5 rivals on 5-25 and 6-1. (3) GDS THUNDER GB returns from the Open at Monticello and was in against NW7500L5s when last seen locally.

Race 6 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 72415LT / NW $100 in 2026 Trot

I'm going to use the same strategy I did back in Race 2 and take the 4-year-old (3) TREGARON against several 3-year-olds in here. This guy joins a high-percentage stable, gained spots in his one qualifier over at Pocono and has plenty of half-mile track experience at Flamboro Downs in Ontario. (4) PRESS took a couple of starts to get acclimated to trotting hobbles but hasn't been outside the exacta in his last four tries. (2) BOOM CHICA BOOM slides in from the eight-hole to post three here and was third against NW2s at Yonkers on the 16th of May.

Race 7 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW2 PM Races LT Draw Inside Pace

Here's another chance to take a swing with a 4-year-old in (7) CRYSTAL COAST, who exits a solid runner-up result in this class on June 6 and I have to think will be put in play. (8) TWO TWENTY SWIFT was second to the top filly in the New York Sire Stakes program last time out at Saratoga and gets reunited with Bartlett. (3) BLAZING QUEEN shows a couple of recent runner-up efforts against NW2s and NW3s in Pennsylvania and exits the Stallion Series.

Race 8 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot

(3) BIZZY BRENDA merits another shot here as she drew to the inside of her main rival and can hopefully build on her second-place finish on 6-6. (4) SEVEN LAYER has two wins and a second since he returned to action last month and defeated my top selection when they met on June 6. He lures Vinny Ginsburg in for this one drive. (5) BO SILAS was third in the same race BIZZY BRENDA and SEVEN LAYER exit from the 6th of June and is a second-timer for this trainer.

Race 9 - 25000CLM Pace

(2) EVER M comes in having won the last four times he's faced $25,000 claimers and now debuts for a high-percentage stable off a claim and gets reunited with Bartlett. (3) SHAKE IT steps up from the $20,000 level but does so in sharp form with a pair of victories and two seconds in his last four trips behind the gate. He's a first-timer for these connections after being claimed again on June 6. (1) MAXIMUS RED A gained a couple of positions last week after he got shuffled before three-quarters and won at Yonkers on the 16th of May.
