BEST BETS: 14 - 23 / $47.10 (+$1.10)
SPOT PLAYS: 2 - 22 / $14.70 (-$29.30)
BEST BET - HAT TRICK MARLEAU (7th)
SPOT PLAY - URBAN RENEWAL (1st)
Race 1 - NW5000L5 Pace
(5) URBAN RENEWAL gives bottom-level foes a second try tonight in his fourth start for trainer Chris Height. Height has been sending out some winners lately, and I'll hope for the same here. (4) ROCKIN M should take a bunch of wagering attention as he slides down to the NW5000L5 class after finishing second against NW7500L5's on 3-29. (3) BABES DIG ME didn't show much over at Pocono on March 26, but that was against NW9000L5's. It was also his first start up from Pompano, and sometimes horses need a start in the colder weather in the Northeast to adjust.

Race 2 - John Brennan Series Trot
(4) TRANQUILITY K qualified pretty well at the Meadowlands on March 26 against the likes of Chin Chin Hall and gets a shot with Yannick Gingras for a trainer in Symon Spicer that is capable of having her ready. (1) SEVENTIER was third against $75,000 claimers in his first start of 2022 on 3-23 and figures to be sharper tonight. (2) STRIKING GENSON has missed the board just once in his last seven starts for a good driver/trainer combo in Austin Siegelman and Nick Devita.

Race 3 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace
(4) SWEET HEAVEN plummets in class out of the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series and should find these types much more to her liking. (1) ANNE BONNEY N paced home in 28 and change from post eight against NW10000L5's on March 24. She drops and moves to the pole position here. (7) POPPY DRAYTON N has been finding the $50,000 claimers too tough but finds a softer spot here and got the nod from Jason Bartlett over others.
Race 4 - John Brennan Series Trot
(4) LADY ANN NO owns four wins and a third with trainer-driver Trond Smedshammer in 2022 and qualified well at Harrah's Philadelphia in preparation for this event. (8) SEVENSHADESOFGREY has turned into a win machine lately for trainer Ricky Bucci and overcame outside draws to tally in his last two outings. (3) COLONIAL AS IT broke stride over at the Meadowlands on March 25 but qualified well over there prior to that and made some stakes appearances as a 3-year-old. Trainer Per Engblom is one of the sharpest guys around and he gets Gingras back in the bike.
Race 5 - F&M NW4/50000LT / F&M NW2/25000LT Drawn Inside Pace
(5) TAVA makes her third start out of the Bucci barn here and might be ready for a more aggressive approach. (6) PLZDONTLIETOME N ran into a buzzsaw last Wednesday in Beach Moment but has raced well in both of her U.S. starts thus far and could break through for a win any time. (4) OAKWOOD CORAL IR hasn't missed the board in five starts since coming into the Jenn Bongiorno barn.
Race 6 - John Brennan Series Trot
(4) TOCCOA FALLS captured two straight wins at the Meadowlands in March and then was a solid third to two stout foes in a subsequent effort over there. He appears to be another strong contender for the Gingras/Engblom duo. (1) SHADRACK HANOVER defeated NW6's twice at Yonkers in eye-catching fashion in February and qualified very well at Pocono on March 23. (7) DROP THE MIC bounced back from a breaking effort on the 10th of March with a fourth-place result on 3-24, gaining spots and ground in the last quarter.
Race 7 - John Brennan Series Trot
(6) HAT TRICK MARLEAU returns on short rest after racing Friday (April 1), but does so after rallying to finish second in a NW30000L5 event. He hit the board in the Open twice prior to that, so he should be pretty tough to beat against this company. (1) JULA MUSCLE PACK is another starter for Gingras and Engblom. He was third in a fast NW15000L5 race here at Yonkers on March 18. (2) LEVATOR invades from Northfield and lures Mark MacDonald in for one drive, perhaps signaling he's live.
Race 8 - John Brennan Series Trot
(1) P L OSCAR prevailed twice at Yonkers in February and backed that up with a pair of second-place finishes over at the Meadowlands. He makes his second start on Lasix tonight. (4) PLUMB has missed the board just once since adding trotting hobbles in mid-February and enters off a victory over $50,000 claimers. (2) DC ANNA made a break against $75,000 claimers last Wednesday, but did rebound with back-to-back tallies in early March after she jumped it off on February 23.
Race 9 - 75000CLM Trot
(3) DRAZZMATAZZ appeared like he had some trot in the lane a week ago but didn't have a lot of room to go with it. He moves inside on the gate here, and I'll swing. (2) VOYAGE TO PARIS won in this class on 2-23 and has Bartlett to drive again. (7) VAINQUEUR R P NO has been pretty reliable for an extended period of time and gets reunited with Jordan Stratton.
Race 10 - 50000CLM Trot
(7) LOOK IN MY EYES will get a second shot from me here as he was wiped out by a breaker on the first turn and lost all chance last Wednesday. He also gets to team with Gingras. (1) CRAZYCAT drew inside again tonight and kept Stratton over my top choice. He was a solid third in his Yonkers return a week ago. (2) TORKIL has been pretty sharp as of late, especially when he gets to partner with Joe Bongiorno, as is the case this week.

Race 11 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM/NW7500L5 Drawn Inside Trot
(5) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE exits the NW15000L5 class and gets to have George Brennan drive him for the first time in a bit. (2) NEW HEAVEN turned in a stout effort to finish a good second to Barry Black last Wednesday and gets another chance against NW10000L5's. (1) FASHION CREDITOR was in the Open at Yonkers before the end of the 2021 meet and makes his third start back off the bench.
Race 12 - NW5070L5/12500CLM Trot
(4) FULL RIGHTS wound up with a tough trip after leaving from post eight last Wednesday. He remains in against bottom level foes here, and the fact they sent him from the outside a week ago is a positive indicator to me. (1) SEVEN KNIGHTS finished second against NW5000L5's two back and drops and moves inside on the gate here. (5) IN MY DREAMS just missed by a nose at a higher level a week ago and might be the one to beat tonight.
