MEET STATS: 68 - 258 / $421.40 (-$94.60)
BEST BETS: 12 - 26 / $45.00 (-$7.00)
SPOT PLAYS: 3 - 26 / $18.20 (-$33.80)
BEST BET - HEART OF MINE (1st)
SPOT PLAY - ANNE BONNEY N (7th)
Race 1 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace
(5) HEART OF MINE was second to the ultra-talented Test Of Faith in the NY Sire Stakes final last year and qualified nicely down at Harrah's Philadelphia on 4-20. Should be a chalky start to the card. (2) BEACH MOMENT improved in her second start in the U.S. at Pocono, closing well to finish second in their NW2 class. (1) J M BETTING HEARTS held third a week ago and does have an age advantage on the others in here as she's the lone 4-year-old. She gets some post relief as she starts from the pole position, too.

Race 2 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace
(1) RCKAROUNDTHECLOCK N just beat NW2's at Yonkers on April 14 and gets another shot at the level here due to her low earnings. She did have to settle for second once at Yonkers on March 10, but looks tough here. (2) MARILYN'S JO has a win and two thirds so far in her 3-year-old campaign and appears to be the main danger to my top pick. (4) DELIGHTFUL Z TAM got the job done in her second appearance of 2021 a week ago, rallying in the last quarter to win. I had her on top that night and will include again.
Race 3 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(7) VINNY DE VIE continues to draw poorly, but he does drop to the bottom level tonight and kept Todd McCarthy. He's probably worth a chance in this wide-open race. (4) P C FOREIGN AFFAIR lost his chance last week when he broke before the start, but he did make up quite a bit of ground in the back-half of the mile. (3) WATKINS couldn't get involved from an outside slot last Wednesday but moves inside tonight and gets reunited with Jordan Stratton.
Race 4 - F&M NW4/63500LT Pace
(5) SUMMER RAE finished an encouraging second in her first start of 2021 last week. I'll hope for some improvement off that mile, and she also gets a shot with McCarthy in the bike. (2) SOMEBEACHSOMEFRA is probably the one to beat as she squeezes into this race due to the expanded lifetime earnings cap and was a gaining fourth versus NW6 foes last Wednesday. (4) PRAY THE ROSARY has a trainer change tonight as she has joined the high-percentage Nick Devita barn. Let's see if that can get her back to the form she showed during the M Life Rewards Ladies Pacing Series in March.
Race 5 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(6) KANDY SWEET had some good results earlier in the year, but then I think she found some tough spots and wasn't as competitive. I like that she lands in against NW5000L5 foes tonight and adds McCarthy. (3) SVF CASH DEPOSIT wound up second as a heavy favorite a week ago but remains at the bottom level and should definitely be a threat. (2) HAMMER CREEK should get a chance to flash his early speed as he draws a considerably better post than the eight-holes he's had in his last pair. He also drops out of the NW7500L5's.
Race 6 - NW8500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot
(1) BROWNIE picked up a second-place finish the last time he raced in this class on 3-24 and returns to it here after facing better since then. (7) FASHIONWOODCHOPPER steps up a notch after beating NW5000L5's a week ago. He has won at this level before at Yonkers, though, and I was impressed the way he held off a heavy favorite in SVF Cash Deposit. (2) SHOWMEYOURGUNS has stepped it up in his last three, posting a second and two thirds. He hasn't won in a while, but I'll use underneath.
Race 7 - F&M NW6/75000LT Pace
(4) ANNE BONNEY N makes her third start after a layoff here. She showed the ability to finish second to a talented foe in Demeter N in a NW8 race at Yonkers on 1-13 and has closed in 27 and change in her recent Meadowlands starts. She also kept McCarthy over another one. (3) GALLERIA GAL started her 4-year-old campaign with a pair of runner-up efforts and then raced conservatively from post eight last Wednesday. She slides inside on the gate this time, and that probably returns her to contender status. (2) MAN DONTFORGET ME also has a better starting position than she had a week ago and makes her second appearance out of the high-percentage Daniel Renaud barn.

Race 8 - NW10800L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot
(5) LINDY'S BIG BANG prevailed the last time he raced in the corresponding class to this one over at Pocono and has faced stout foes at Harrah's Philadelphia in two subsequent tries. (2) MAGIC MVP trounced a group of NW7500L5's last Wednesday in his debut for trainer Scott Di Domenico and looked like he had more in the tank to handle moving up a level. (3) PATRIARCH HANOVER hasn't hit the board in four starts at age 4 but did race well at Yonkers late in 2020.
Race 9 - NW5000L5 Pace
(4) FRISKY PEDRO came to life last week at Harrah's Philadelphia, scoring an upset with Joe Bongiorno driving. I like that Joe chose this horse over another one in here, and he catches the type of field he can double up against. (3) BENNY IS A JET took a little bit of wagering attention on 4-20 but couldn't get involved from the eight-hole. He gets major post relief tonight. (5) BLUEBIRD RECON has been racing in Ohio since October of last year but has been on the East Coast before with trainer Eric Abbatiello. He cruised to a facile win against NW5000L5's at Yonkers in August of 2020.
