Race 1 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(4) CIRCLE OF LIFE AS turned in an improved effort in the corresponding class to this one at Harrah's Philadelphia last time out, and she should like this company better than the John Brennan Trotting Series. (3) LINDSEY'S PRIDE makes his third start for trainer Jeff Gillis and remains at the bottom level. (6) VINNY DE VIE gained a couple of spots in the last quarter in a Brennan division a week ago and kept leading driver Jason Bartlett.

Race 2 - NW10950L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot
(6) ABSOLUT UNCERTENTY drops out of the NW15000L5's and gets out of the eight-hole tonight. He also gets another chance with Bartlett, and trainer Paul Stafford has been sending out some recent winners. (1) DELTASUN A was third against some classy foes at the Meadowlands last time out. He hasn't had much success at Yonkers when he's shown up here in the past, but I'll trust his recent form to carry over. (5) LIMERENCE is another horse getting out of post eight tonight, and he had a couple of top two-finishes on 3-30 and 4-13.
Race 3 - 50000CLM Trot
(3) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN slides down from the $75,000 claimers for the potent tandem of Bartlett & trainer Gareth Dowse, and that could be all it takes to get him back into the winner's circle. (1) BIG RICH invades from the Meadowlands off a win and has some good history on half-mile tracks. (6) OUR WHITE KNIGHT hit the board in his last two chances in this class and returns to it here after a fourth-place result in a NW10000L5 base class race a week ago.
Race 4 - F&M NW4/50000LT / F&M NW2/25000LT Drawn Inside Pace
(6) BUMP IN THE ROAD returns to a regular racing schedule tonight after missing some time prior to her start last week. I'll give her a shot in the hopes she continues to offer value for the always-capable Tony Alagna barn. (5) MARVELOUS KISS was second from first-over in a NW4 race a week ago and did win on the front-end earlier in the month at Pocono. (2) KELE KELE qualified for the NY Sire Stakes final at age 2 and gets reunited with Matt Kakaley.
Race 5 - 75000CLM Trot
(4) STEUBEN HANOVER owns a win over $75,000 claimers back in early March and seems overdue to strike for trainer Ron Burke. (3) D P ROCKET has five straight on the board finishes and tallied at this level a week ago. She also gets Kakaley back in the bike. (8) WILD AND CRAZY GUY steps up off three consecutive victories over $50,000 claimers. He's another Bartlett/Dowse collaboration.
Race 6 - NW4/53950LT Pace
(5) PLEASURE SEEKER made the final of the MGM Rewards Ladies Pacing Series at Yonkers last month and drops after facing tougher foes at Pocono in her last two attempts. (4) NADINA HANOVER closed well from post eight down at Freehold in her 2022 debut and picks up George Brennan tonight. (6) CAVIART CARMEL finished with some interest last Wednesday in her first try of the year. She could be handled more aggressively here.
Race 7 - John Brennan Series Consolation Trot
(8) SEVENSHADESOFGREY turned it around with an improved effort last Wednesday and should continue to offer value given the outside draw. (4) P L OSCAR had two thirds and a fourth in his prelims and has won at Yonkers in the past. (5) PLUMB just missed in leg one of this event on 4-6 and gets reunited with Joe Bongiorno tonight.

Race 8 - John Brennan Series Final Trot
(4) HAT TRICK MARLEAU posted a perfect record in the series prelims, and I'll stand by my call from last week that he's the best horse in this event. (1A) TOCCOA FALLS is the better of the two Per Engblom horses in this entry and lures Dexter Dunn in for the one drive. (2) LADY ANN NO out-drew her entrymate, and while the other half does have Bartlett to drive, trainer Trond Smedshammer has been doing well both in that category and in the bike.
Race 9 - NW8001L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot
(5) IM THE MUSCLE gained some ground late a week ago and has post and class relief tonight. (3) BULLY BOY picked up a confidence-building win over at Pocono on April 19 and had a lot of success at Yonkers a year ago. (2) BLENHEIM was second two back at Pocono against NW9000L5's and was at the $50,000 claiming level when last seen locally.
