Race 1 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace

(3) DELIGHTFUL Z TAM makes her second start of 2021 tonight after closing in 28 2/5 last Wednesday. She also starts from an improved post, so I'll give her a chance. (6) SEA OF LOVE BC was a good second a week ago to a heavy favorite and should get some respect off that performance. (4) J M BETTING HEARTS was fourth in the same race my top two selections exit. She gets another chance with Jason Bartlett driving and did show some ability when she pulled an upset two back at Monticello.

Race 2 - NW11500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(3) IN MY DREAMS drops a notch after facing better in his last four starts, and hopefully that makes him more competitive. (1) BARRY BLACK gets to start from the pole position and was a gaining second to the razor-sharp Bully Boy last Wednesday. (4) SECRET BRO also gets class relief tonight, and while he's just two for his last 33 in the win column, he has been second in his last two chances at this level.

Race 3 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(5) FASHIONWOODCHOPPER downed NW7500L5's at Yonkers last November, so I like the fact that he returns from Florida at even a lower level than that, and I'll use. (3) SVF CASH DEPOSIT is sure to get the bulk of the attention as he drops after a third-place result against NW7500L5's a week ago. (2) CON AIR HALL has a better post this week after making a break last Wednesday. I think he is a threat to hit the board and can maybe add some value underneath.

Race 4 - John Brennan Series Eligibles Trot

(4) P L NOTSONICE finished well off cover last week but ran out of racetrack before she could challenge for the win. I think she's worth another shot. (2) KENOGAMI COCO is probably due for a better effort given he races for high-percentage connections. I wouldn't be surprised if it came here. (8) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE showed enough early speed to get to the front from the eight-hole on 3-25, so I don't think he's a total write-off from out here and is usable.

Race 5 - F&M NW5/50000LT Pace

I've picked (7) MAN DONTFORGET ME on several occasions without any success, but I'll take another chance with her tonight as she gets a catch driver this time in Tyler Buter and also has a trainer change to Daniel Renaud to consider. (5) CHELSKI turned in another quality effort to finish second last Wednesday and was Todd McCarthy's choice in this contest. (4) SOUND IDEA made the final of the M Life Rewards Ladies Pacing Series at Yonkers last month and closed in 27 and change in her last try at the Meadowlands after getting bothered after the start.

Race 6 - John Brennan Series Consolation Trot

(2) STINGLIKE A B K won gamely from first-over in leg two of this series but missed out on the last round and therefore didn't make the final. He returns tonight from another good draw, and I'll slot on top. (5) MCMATTERS picks up Jordan Stratton's services for the first time tonight and didn't race badly during the event with a second and a third. (3) HUNTING AS prevailed on 3-31 but then made a break and had a bad post in subsequent efforts. I think he has a big chance to get back on track here for the potent duo of Todd McCarthy and Jenny Melander.

Race 7 - John Brennan Series Final Trot

(3) LOOK IN MY EYES had the eight-hole in all three rounds of this series, but overcame it with a win, a second, and a fourth. He gets considerable post relief tonight and is sure to offer value. (1) WINDSONG PIONEER is sure to be forwardly-placed from the pole position and with an aggressive driver in Brent Holland. (6) GET LEGS likely can't lose as long as he trots, as we've all seen the last couple weeks. I don't see much point in putting a 1-20 shot on top, though.

Race 8 - NW7500L5 Trot

(6) WARRAWEE SHIPSHAPE delivered last Wednesday as he invaded from Ohio. He is in for the optional claiming tag, so he remains in the same class, and although he moves outside on the gate, it looks like he has enough speed to get positioned on or near the front. (4) RACEACE picked up his last victory when he raced at this level on 3-17 and returns to it here after facing off against better in his last four appearances. (2) FOMOR also drops and just missed by a nose against NW10000L5's three starts back.

Race 9 - F&M NW6/75000LT Pace

(4) DRAGON ROLL led and dug in gamely to win over a well-backed favorite a week ago. She tackles NW6 company again tonight and looks like a contender. (2) KICKUPYAHEELS N meant business in her second start in the U.S. last Wednesday as she was victorious. She drew inside again here and kept Todd McCarthy. (1) MOANING LISA finished third in the event Dragon Roll won last week and moves inside to the pole position.
