Race 1 - NW5665L5 Pace

(7) KEYSTONE DASH returns on short rest after winning in this class on Friday (4-15). He hails from the high-percentage Gareth Dowse barn and has the hot hands of Jason Bartlett in the bike. (1) SHINY BLACK BEAMER rallied from well back to finish second a week ago, and trainer Scott Di Domenico sent out a ton of live horses last week. (4) LUCIANO N double-drops out of the NW10000L5 class and was Marcus Miller's pick of two.

Race 2 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace

(4) CAVIART CARMEL put together a 5-2-0 summary from eight starts at age 2 and qualified nicely at Pocono on 4-13. Trainer Ray Schnittker usually has his horses ready, and I'll bank on her firing. (1) TAVA has hit the board in her last three tries and gets away from the sharp Plzdontlietome N tonight. (3) OAKWOOD CORAL IR saw her run of top-three finishes end last Wednesday when she had to do the first-over work against Plzdontlietome N. She gets a chance with Bartlett tonight.

Race 3 - NW5000L5 Trot

(2) CAVALIER GEORGE drops out of the John Brennan Trotting Series and moves inside on the gate. Driver Brent Holland and trainer Pual Stafford have been teaming up for some recent success. (7) LINDSEY'S PRIDE slides down to the bottom level in his second start for trainer Jeff Gillis and was third in his debut for that barn a week ago. (3) LOOK IN MY EYES gets post relief tonight after having post seven in his last two outings and has class relief to go with it.

Race 4 - John Brennan Series Trot

(4) SOOT HANOVER hasn't had a chance to race close to the action, as he's been hampered by outside posts in this series so far. He drew better tonight, and I'll swing in the hopes they send him out of there. (6) SEVENTIER should have a spot in next week's final lined up, but you can see all the success trainer-driver Trond Smedshammer's had at Yonkers so far in 2022, and this horse certainly merits consideration. (3) P L OSCAR closed well from off-the-pace a week ago and was third prior to that.

Race 5 - F&M NW4/50000LT / F&M NW2/25000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(3) MARVELOUS KISS picked up a check against much stronger foes than these a week ago and was victorious at Pocono two back. I wouldn't be surprised to see her handled aggressively. (2) MAJOR LOVER was second in her first start of 2022 last Wednesday and could be sharper tonight. (4) KATHY'S MOMENT hasn't really shown much lately, but she does race out of the Di Domenico barn, and as I mentioned earlier, he's been hot since returning from a suspension.

Race 6 - John Brennan Series Trot

(5) HAT TRICK MARLEAU looks like the best horse in this event to me, and although George Brennan went against him, I won't, and I'm sure Tyler Buter will fill in just fine. (1) B NICKING was Brennan's choice and did get the job done from first-over last Wednesday. He drew another inside post here, too. (3) TRANQUILITY K followed behind Hat Trick Marleau a week ago and held second, and I could see her hitting the board after another inside trip here.

Race 7 - NW11725L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM/NW7500L5 Drawn Inside Trot

(7) IM THE MUSCLE won the last time he raced at this level on 3-2 and double-drops out of the NW20000L5 base class. (3) OUR WHITE KNIGHT enters with three straight on-the-board results and switches over from the $50,000 claimers. He's another Di Domenico trainee with a chance tonight. (6) FULL RIGHTS has come back to good form with a second and a third in his last two outings, and that early speed he packs often results in him getting well-spotted.

Race 8 - John Brennan Series Trot

(2) SEVENSHADESOFGREY disappointed a week ago when he made an early break, but he did that on February 17 and then came back to win three straight races. Hopefully lightning can strike twice here. (3) LADY ANN NO won in the first round of this event and then was a strong second last Wednesday. She gives Smedshammer another shot to get his picture taken. (4) EMOTIONS RICHES took advantage of breaks by the other two favorites last week to score a romping win. I'll include.

Race 9 - 75000CLM Trot

(7) SO LONG HANOVER pulled off a big upset in this class a week ago, and while I don't think he'll be 31-1 again, he should continue to offer some value given his outside draw. (4) D P ROCKET comes back on short rest after beating NW15000L5's handily on Friday night (4-15). That was his fourth straight top-two finish. (1) BIZET has been off the ticket just once in nine starts so far in 2022 and moves in from post eight to the pole position.

Race 10 - F&M NW8/100000LT / F&M NW6/75000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(5) THINK OF GALAXIES finished a solid second in her 2022 debut at Pocono on April 10, and she had a good 3YO campaign that included an appearance in the Breeders Crown and a third to Horse of the Year Test Of Faith in the Courageous Lady at Northfield. (6) GINGER TREE LIZ is very sharp right now with two wins and two thirds in her last four appearances. (1) PLZDONTLIETOME N moves up in class here but does so off back-to-back victories. She also has a post advantage on my top two picks.

Race 11 - 50000CLM Trot

(4) MOMM'S MY DAD has the barn change to Di Domenico that worked with several horses a week ago, and he should continue to have some value. (8) WILD AND CRAZY GUY owns a second and two wins since dropping to this level, and I imagine he'll be firing out from the outside. (1) FASHION FOREVER should be back in contention tonight as he moves from post seven to the pole position. He has a string of five straight top-three results prior to last Wednesday.
