Race 1 - NW5051L5 Pace

(5) CAPTIVATE HANOVER slides down to the bottom level here for a trainer in Lance Hudson who is sending out plenty of live horses right now. I will use. (3) KERFORD ROAD A turned in an improved effort on 4-3 at Harrah's Philadelphia and was a gaining third against NW15000L5's here at Yonkers as recently as February 28. You have to think he's going to find his way to the winner's circle soon. (1) BET YOU moves to the pole position tonight after gaining positions in the final quarter from the seven-hole a week ago.

Race 2 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace

(2) MAJOR LOVER didn't win last year at age 3 but made several stakes appearances and qualified back fairly well for trainer Ricky Bucci. (3) IDEAL CHIP had a rare off-the-board result on 3-30, but that was from post eight. She drew much better here. (6) B VANISH faces a softer group of NW2's than I think she has lately, and she hails from a high-percentage barn.

Race 3 - F&M NW4/57025LT Pace

(3) COZ IM SPECIAL finished up her mile much better last week in her second start for trainer Erv Miller. I'll hop aboard tonight and hope she continues to offer some value. (4) PLZDONTLIETOME prevailed a week ago in her third try here in the U.S. and probably has some addition room to improve. (7) OAKWOOD CORAL IR hasn't won since exiting the NW2 level, but she hasn't missed the board either, so I'd definitely want to include her.

Race 4 - John Brennan Series Trot

(2) HAT TRICK MARLEAU posted what I thought was the most impressive victory in this event a week ago and gets to move inside on the gate tonight. (1) TRANQUILITY K had to do the first-over work in a slow tempo last Wednesday and faded to fourth. This is her second start of the season, so she could improve, especially with a smoother trip. (4) BAZILLIONAIRE took advantage of a pocket trip to post a runner-up result in leg one of this series and has been in pretty good form overall as of late.

Race 5 - John Brennan Series Trot

(7) JULA MUSCLE PACK turned in a solid performance to finish second to Hat Trick Marleau last Wednesday, and even though he has the outside post tonight, I can't see them taking back to last. (5) DROP THE MIC gained some ground from a tough spot a week ago and drew a slightly better post here. (1) SEVENTIER was one of the winners in the first round of this event last week and could certainly do the same tonight as he has the pole position again.

Race 6 - NW7551L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(2) BULLY BOY worked his way up to the Open level here at Yonkers last year and makes his 2022 debut tonight. His second qualifier over at Pocono was quite sharp when you consider the track was two seconds off, and I'll trust trainer Jenny Melander to have him ready. (3) FASHION CREDITOR drops after finishing fourth against NW10000L5's a week ago and is usable. (1) IN MY DREAMS picked up a confidence-building win over bottom level foes last Wednesday, and trainer Dennis Laterza is on a bit of a roll lately.

Race 7 - John Brennan Series Trot

(3) SPUNKIN'SROCKETMAN gets out of the eight-hole tonight and did have some trot at the end of the mile from way back in leg one of this series. I think he might get a bit overlooked, too. (1) TOCCOA FALLS romped to a pretty handy victory last Wednesday and is probably the one to knock off again here from the pole. (6) LADY ANN NO is riding a five-race win streak, but I don't think she'll have the same type of easy trip on the front-end tonight, and I'll try and beat her.

Race 8 - 50000CLM Trot

(1) LADY JETER posted an upset victory at Yonkers on 4-1. She's raced pretty well over this oval when she's showed up here, and I'll give her another try. (3) WILD AND CRAZY GUY tallied rather easily in his second start against $50,000 claimers on 3-30 and races out of the high-percentage Gareth Dowse barn. (6) JUSTLIKEHIM comes over from the Meadowlands with on-the-board results five of his last six starts.

Race 9 - NW12251L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(1) IT AINT THE WHISKY drew the pole tonight in his second attempt at this level. I don't mind that he has Jordan Stratton back in the bike, too. (2) NEW HEAVEN had every chance to get by Swiss House Onfire a week ago but couldn't do it. That's back-to-back runner-up finishes at low odds, and I'll try and beat him again tonight. (3) HATIKVAH has some post relief tonight and could go back to racing closer to the front.

Race 10 - John Brennan Series Trot

(4) SEVENSHADESOFGREY couldn't get involved from the eight-hole a week ago but drew a mid-pack post here, and I anticipate him to resume his winning ways. (6) EMOTIONS RICHES is another horse sent out by trainer Dennis Laterza on the card, and he finished a gaining third in the division won by Hat Trick Marleau last Wednesday. (5) PASS KEY picked up spots and ground in the back-half of a paceless race a week ago and starts from post five instead of the seven-hole.

Race 11 - 75000CLM Trot

(4) MUSCLE JACK dominated $50,000 claimers last Wednesday in his debut for Laterza and with the addition of trotting hobbles. He steps up a notch tonight, but I think this horse has talent, and I'll go with him. (3) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN has been racking up the wins for Dowse since he put on hobbles last month and is closing in on $1.2 million in career earnings. (2) STEUBEN HANOVER overcame post eight to finish third in his second start out of the Ron Burke barn a week ago and starts from an inside post after three straight outside slots.
