Race 1 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace

(2) OAKWOOD CORAL IR owns two pretty handy wins in this class already and moves inside on the gate tonight after starting from post seven on 2-23. (6) IDEAL CHIP has a poor win record in her career but hasn't missed the board in quite a while and is definitely one I'd use underneath. (1) LADY ELECTRA qualified well over at Pocono on March 2, and I'll look for her to follow along on the inside and get a piece of it.

Race 2 - MGM Rewards Ladies F&M Pace

(4) BELINA finished with pace from the back of the pack last Wednesday against NW6's. She got some post relief off that performance, and I'll take a shot with her. (1) DIVINE DEO cruised to a pretty easy win in that race that my top pick was also in a week ago. She's probably the one to beat for the tandem of George Brennan & Ron Burke. (3) STATE OF MIND invades from Canada after rallying to score in their NW4 class. She adds Yannick Gingras in the bike and is now in the high-percentage Nik Drennan barn.

Race 3 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(1) FULL RIGHTS drops out of the NW15000L5 class and has his fourth straight post one draw to go with it. Trainer Ray Schnittker had Hobbs ready to fire last week, and maybe lightning can strike twice. (5) ALL CHAMPY has hit the board at this level in his last two tries and gets an opportunity to partner with Gingras. (6) SOUTHWIND FROST overcame post eight at Pocono to finish second in his last start. That was against Eurobond, who has performed very well at Yonkers since shipping over.

Race 4 - 50000CLM Trot

(8) D P ROCKET has overcome outside posts to win at Yonkers before, so the eight-hole doesn't bother me too much, and I think he'll be live as he makes his second start back after a layoff. (1) EVA DAIRPET FR seems to have come back around in her last couple of starts, and her trainer is sending out live horse after live horse over at the Meadowlands right now. (5) MANHATTANUP NO ICE lost Matt Kakaley's services to my top pick, but he closed well to finish third a week ago and has shown the ability to leave, too, giving Austin Siegelman some options with him.

Race 5 - MGM Rewards Ladies F&M Pace

(7) JM BETONSIX returns on short rest after racing Friday night at the Meadowlands. She was in against the likes of defending Blue Chip Matchmaker Series champion Machnhope in that contest, so this is a massive class drop compared to that, and I would expect her to get the job done. (2) ALITTLESIDEHUSTL N couldn't have qualified more impressively at Saratoga for her U.S. debut here, and I'll include. (6) SHE KNOWS IT ALL makes her second start back after a brief respite, and while she's just two-for-36 in the win column during her career, she has finished second or third 19 times.

Race 6 - NW5350L5/12500CLM Trot

(3) MATT'S MUSCLES is now with Burke after finishing second for his former connections most recently down at Dover. He meets up with bottom level foes here at Yonkers and appears capable. (4) BAZILLIONAIRE takes a third crack against NW5000L5's tonight and just missed by a head back on February 23. (1) CYCLONE MAXIMUS drops out of the NW7500L5's, moves to the pole position, and picks up Gingras.

Race 7 - F&M NW6/75000LT Pace

(4) COMMANDER CATHY N remains in search of her initial victory in the U.S., but I think it could come here as she out-drew some of the other logical ones to the outside and gets reunited with Joe Bongiorno. (7) HEAVENISSOFARAWAY has finished third and second since joining the Burke Brigade in February and was able to overcome post seven to get runner-up honors when last seen on 2-23. (2) THUNDRA probably finds an easier spot tonight than those hard-knocking $50,000 claimers she's been in so far in 2022.

Race 8 - 50000CLM Trot

(2) ALTUS HANOVER rallied nicely to finish second in a NW8 race when last seen at Yonkers back in mid-January and ships back over from Pocono after picking up checks in two appearances in their NW12500L5 class. Trainer Rob Harmon is having a very good season here thus far in 2022. (6) PLUMB has a win and a second since adding trotting hobbles last month and is a threat. (5) MADHATTER BLUECHIP picked up a hard-fought win after a pocket trip a week ago and has Jordan Stratton back to pilot him again.

Race 9 - 75000CLM Trot

(6) ON HIGHER GROUND starts out of the Jenn Bongiorno barn for the third time here, but he has Joe Bongiorno to drive for the first time. He was second two back to Street Gossip, who was the winner of Friday night's Open Handicap Trot. (4) BIZET had to wait a bit for the cover to start moving last week and had to settle for a gaining fourth-place finish. He kept Stratton over another one in here tonight, and recently had a four-race win streak. (1) WILD AND CRAZY GUY broke before the start last week and lost all chance. He was hammered down to odds-on, so I have to think he was live, and he's certainly capable of rebounding.

Race 10 - NW5601L5 Pace

(3) MOHAWK WARRIOR finally had a bit of good fortune on his side as he drew in off the also-eligible list and into a good post to boot. He hasn't had a chance to really show his best as he's been plagued by outside draws, but I will bank on him being on top of his game here. (2) BETTER UP is another horse who had luck at the draw on this occasion after starting from posts eight and seven in his two appearances since coming in from Monticello. (1) REAL LUCKY N gets a second shot at NW5000L5's tonight and gained spots and ground in the final quarter on 3-1. He also moves in from post five to the pole position.
