Race 1 - NW7621L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Trot
(2) LUCKY WEEKEND was scratched lame at the Meadowlands on 2-10, which concerns me a bit, but this is the softest spot he's been in since his last victory on December 9, and I'll give him a chance. (1) BANK BOX TREASURE makes his third start back after a layoff here and returns to an inside post for a barn that's been heating up. (6) PASS KEY beat bottom level rivals in his debut for Per Engblom last Wednesday and moves up a level tonight.

Race 2 - NW5471L5 Pace
(2) CHIEFS BEACH moves inside on the gate tonight and has been gaining spots and/or ground in the final quarter in his recent tries in this class. (5) HE'S ELECTRIC is another one who has been knocking on the door at this level and is usable. (4) WARDAN EXPRESS A drops out of tougher spots, but isn't going to be worth the short price, and I'll take a stand against.

Race 3 - 50000CLM Trot
(2) LINDSEY'S PRIDE went a long way on the lead before fading in the stretch last week. I'll hope for some improvement in his second start for trainer Scott Di Domenico and put him on top. (4) ALL CHAMPY goes for another new barn this week as he was claimed by Jared Bako last week. He's been putting in good performances but has developed a serious case of "second-itis" lately. (1) AFTER ALL PAUL has hit the board in three straight appearances, including a hard-fought win from first-up a week ago.
Race 4 - 25000CLM Pace
(3) JOJO'S PLACE slides back inside on the gate this week after starting from post six a week ago. He did finish out his mile well that night, so I think he's still sharp, and I'll put him on top. (1) MACINTOSH N drops a notch below the level he was claimed at on 2-27 and races out of a high-percentage barn. (2) AUDI HARE N gets another chance with Jason Bartlett in the bike and steps down from the $30,000 claiming level.
Race 5 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(4) WINDSONG PIONEER couldn't hold off the well-meant Kasha V last Wednesday, but drops to the bottom level tonight and looks like the one to beat. (1) FASHION FOREVER takes a second crack at NW5000L5 company here after a runner-up finish to favored Full Rights a week ago. (5) ELEGANT DULUPIN FR had the light bulb go on last time out at the Meadowlands as he was able to leave, set the fractions, and get a win. That could make him dangerous.
Race 6 - 3-5YO 50000CLM Pace
(5) SILENT SPLENDOR gets away from some of the tougher horses in this class like Certifiable and Great Somewhere, and perhaps that will result in him putting in a winning performance. (2) JK'S CHAMP hasn't won since back in his 3-year-old season but drops out of tougher spots and gets reunited with Bartlett. (6) COALITION HANOVER closed out his mile well a week ago and has won at this level before.
Race 7 - F&M NW6/75000LT / F&M NW4/50000LT Drawn Inside Pace
(3) DOC'S DELIGHT kicked home with a quick 27 and change final quarter last Wednesday and gets to face mixed NW4/NW6 company instead of NW6/NW8 horses. She also gets a chance with Jordan Stratton. (4) MISS DOTTIE MAE is on a long run of strong performances, including a victory over NW4's back on February 22. (5) ADDISON SEELSTER is riding a three-race win streak and hasn't been out of the top two in eight starts this year over at Monticello.
Race 8 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Trot
(1) UP HELLY AA hasn't been able to find the winner's circle since coming to the U.S. from the Canadian Maritimes, but this is the softest spot he's been in, and he also has a barn change to consider as Bako takes over. (6) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE was in position to have a second-over trip a week ago but made a miscue and lost all chance. He did win handily over bottom level foes prior to that, and I believe he's capable of rebounding. (5) STEALING gets out of the eight-hole this week and gets a chance to partner with Bartlett.

Race 9 - 3-5YO 50000-75000CLM HCP Pace
(7) GREAT SOMEWHERE returned to his winning ways a week ago in impressive fashion and even lured Matt Kakaley off a Travis Alexander trainee tonight. (3) STELLAR YANKEE picked up an overdue win last Wednesday but has to deal with the presence of my top pick this time around. (2) WHAT ABOUT BOB made a break behind the gate last week and had to settle for fourth. He did win prior to that, and trainer Per Engblom's horses can be tough to beat.
Race 10 - NW10651L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Trot
(6) REIGN OF HONOR comes down from Saratoga where he's been racing capably in their top classes and was Stratton's choice tonight. (3) KASHA V dusted NW7500L5 rivals a week ago from first-up and rallied to finish third at this level two back. (4) CALL ME DANI was favored against NW15000L5's in one appearance here on January 19 (finished sixth) and has been putting in good efforts at the Meadowlands outside of the one miscue on 2-4.
