MEET STATS: 54 - 202 / $267.60 (-$136.40)
BEST BETS: 13 - 21 / $43.40 (+$1.40)
SPOT PLAYS: 1 - 20 / $5.50 (-$34.50)
BEST BET - PLZDONTLIETOME N (9th)
SPOT PLAY - PICARD A (1st)
Race 1 - NW5580L5 Pace
(4) PICARD A comes into this race with post (two eights in his last three starts) and trip (close to the front through a wicked pace on 3-14) excuses in his recent appearances. He takes a second crack at bottom level foes tonight, and I'll use. (3) AWESOMENESS has had back-to-back horrific trips of his own. He landed an inside spot this time, and perhaps he can get a smooth journey. (1) EDDARD HANOVER looks like a likely favorite as he was second in this class last Tuesday. He does hail from a high-percentage barn, but I'll take a shot against since he's 0-for-10 in 2022.

Race 2 - 50000CLM Trot
(4) LOOK IN MY EYES trotted a good last quarter a couple weeks ago when reunited with Jordan Stratton. They're paired up again here from a slightly better draw. (2) FASHION FOREVER has his the board in his last four starts and moves inside on the gate tonight. (5) MUFASA AS is also in good form with top-three results in three of his last four appearances.

Race 3 - NW5355L5/12500CLM Trot
(2) LIMERENCE gained positions in the last quarter in his comeback effort a week ago and now moves inside and remains against bottom level foes. (7) D P ROCKET was a good second to a heavy favorite in Swansea on 3-16 and drops down from the NW7500L5's. (4) THE IRISHMAN gets to team up with Jordan Stratton for the first time since back in early February, and I'll toss him on the ticket.
Race 4 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace
(4) B VANISH will get another chance from me this Wednesday as she was interfered with two back and then toured the oval from post eight a week ago before closing well to finish fourth. (3) WATERMELON SUGAR showed her form from Saratoga was no accident as she rallied to win here at Yonkers last week. She gets to remain in against NW2's and also has post relief. (6) CAVEN POINT showed some talent last year at 2 with five on-the-board finishes in eight tries, and she was third versus NW2's from post eight at Pocono on March 21.
Race 5 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot
(7) LEAN HANOVER has shown the ability to win at the Open level here at Yonkers before, and this looks like a spot where he could get things going back in the right direction. (3) NEW HEAVEN gets out of the eight-hole this time and gets further class relief. (2) BARRY BLACK gets reunited with George Brennan here and qualified well on 3-18. He'd look more attractive as a win candidate if he hadn't broken stride on both March 4 and March 11.
Race 6 - 75000CLM Trot
(2) DC ANNA isn't a proven commodity against $75,000 claimers yet, but she did win two straight over $50,000 claimers earlier in the month, and I'll take a shot with her from an inside post and with Brennan back this time. (1) BIZET has missed the board just once in seven tries so far in 2022 and came up just a neck short on March 16. (5) ON HIGHER GROUND rallied well to finish second in this class on 3-9 and then backed that up with a front-stepping victory the following week.
Race 7 - MGM Rewards Ladies Final Pace
(4) BELINA looks like the best horse in this series based on her victories the last two weeks, and she out-drew her main competition in the final. (2) GABBY'S GIRL was second in all of her divisions of the preliminary rounds and should be well-spotted again tonight from an inside post. (1) OFF THE RECORD finished a solid second to Belina two back and should return to contention tonight as she moves in from post seven to the pole.
Race 8 - 50000CLM Trot
(4) BIG BAD SWAN tallied in an amateur race on March 17 and was returns to regular overnight action against $50,000 claimers, rather than the $75,000 claimers he had been facing. (5) WILD AND CRAZY GUY went almost all the way on the lead last week when he dropped down to this level and is probably a big threat again for a potent trainer/driver combo. (1) STONEBRIDGE GAMBLE successfully invaded from Northfield on 3-16 with a victory in this class and landed the pole tonight.

Race 9 - F&M NW6/75000LT / F&M NW4/50000LT Drawn Inside Pace
(2) PLZDONTLIETOME N raced well in her U.S. debut on 3-16, rallying to finish third, and should be sharper tonight. (1) COZ IM SPECIAL had been racing north of the border in Alberta but is now in the United States and with Erv Miller. She looks like a stone-cold closer, but that was an impressive qualifier over at Pocono a week ago. (5) MEAN IRENE ships in from The Meadows, which is an angle that has worked very well with other horses coming from that venue for these connections.
Race 10 - NW7851L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot
(2) HATIKVAH looked like a brand new horse last week here at Yonkers when he destroyed bottom-level rivals, and he doesn't meet up with anyone too imposing tonight if he's that good again. (1) CAVALIER GEORGE makes his third start off the shelf tonight and gets to drop and start from post one. (4) IN MY DREAMS posted his most recent on-the-board finish when he raced in ths class on January 26 and has been facing better since then.
