Race 1 - M Life Rewards Gents Series Pace

(3) PANTHER TIME won in 1:51 4/5 in October 2020 at Northfield Park, so he has winning experience over a half-mile track, qualified well at Miami Valley on 2-10, and joins the high-percentage Jenn Bongiorno barn for this series. (4) SCOOTNROLL went ten-for-17 in the win column a year ago, and was third as the favorite when last seen at Yonkers on the 23rd of November. (1) GONNAHAVEONEMORE switches to the pole positions tonight, and trainer Pasquale Picca posted a recent upset win with Stowaway Hanover.

Race 2 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(7) YES had a four-race win streak in late 2019 and early 2020 at Yonkers for trainer Erv Miller. He is back in Erv's care now and gets a chance at the bottom level. I'll use. (4) SEVEN KNIGHTS hasn't done much since that win over NW7500L5's on December 22, but he gets further class relief tonight and also slides in a couple of slots on the gate. (2) CON AIR HALL was a good second to the well-meant Winneress a week ago and gets another crack at the NW5000L5's here from an improved post.

Race 3 - M Life Rewards Gents Series Pace

(2) RETOUR AU JEU owns two wins, a second, and a third in four tries since coming into the Dennis Laterza stable in November of 2020 and was an eye-catching winner from first-up against NW4's on February 23. (1) ODDS ON BREXIT starts from the pole and hasn't missed the board in his last four chances locally against the NW4 class, posting a 1-1-2 record. (5) ROLLING WITH SAM has been a win-shy type in his career, having been victorious just twice from 32 lifetime tries. He was second to Retour Au Jeu last time out, and I'll slot underneath.

Race 4 - M Life Rewards Gents Series Pace

(6) LOU'S SWEETREVENGE posted two straight wins at Yonkers on 1-19 and 2-9 and was a strong, rallying third in his last mile on February 16. (3) DIAMONDBEACH stayed flat in the local qualifier on the 22nd of January and backed that up with a second-place finish in the same NW6 race my top pick comes out of. (4) CIGAR SMOKING TONY kept Jason Bartlett's services over Diamondbeach and has been razor-sharp for an extended period of time. All those races were against NW2 types, though, and I prefer the horses with experience at higher levels.

Race 5 - M Life Rewards Gents Series Pace

(5) MY PAL JOE is probably just faster than the others in here. He should be a heavy favorite and will be tough to beat. (1) DRAGON SAID prevailed in his debut for Jenn and Joe Bongiorno on 2-23, closing in an impressive 27 1/5. He has the pole position and might be behind My Pal Joe in the pocket. (2) SOCIAL THEORIES has hit the board a couple of times against NW4's and gets to move in from the six-hole to post two.

Race 6 - F&M NW6/75000LT / F&M NW4/50000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(5) ACEFORTYFOUR DOME gets reunited with Brennan this week and seems overdue for a try where she's on the lead or in the pocket. I'll hope that strategy is used here. (7) VICIOUS CIRCLE switched things up to race from off-the-pace a week ago, and it worked in great fashion as she stormed home to win. She makes her third start after a layoff here and could be even a bit sharper. (3) MAN DONTFORGET ME keeps racking up the on-the-board finishes, but she hasn't been able to get a victory yet locally. I respect her chances, but will use underneath this time.

Race 7 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(2) IN MY DREAMS lost his chance to threaten last Wednesday when he broke after the start. He did finish his mile in 28 2/5, so that tells me he was sharp, and he is worth another shot. (4) RACEACE cruised to a facile win in the same race In My Dreams exits. He is in for the optional claiming tag tonight, so he doesn't have to move up in class, and trainer Gil Garcia-Herrera's horses were very sharp last week. (5) FULL RIGHTS drops out of the NW10000L5's and has Mark MacDonald in the bike again. I wouldn't be surprised if he showed more early speed.

Race 8 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(5) JOSSIE JAMES A makes her second start for Garcia-Herrera tonight. She gets some post relief and has shown more early foot in the past, giving driver Daniel Dube some options with her. (1) THREEDEE DELIGHT A has back-to-back third-place results against NW5000L5's at Yonkers and returns to the pole position after starting from the five-hole last Wednesday. (6) GRANT ME THIS picks up Jordan Stratton after Tyler Buter opted elsewhere. She was second to the well-meant High Rolling A a week ago and has a knack for finding her way on to the ticket.

Race 9 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(1) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN took advantage of a drop a week ago to score an easy win. He hikes up tonight, but offsets that by starting from post one, and I think he remains the one to beat. (3) WHETHER OR NOT FI also moves up in class, but he's won convincingly in his two attempts for trainer Andrew Harris, and has always done his best racing at Yonkers. (4) LIMERENCE drops and moves inside on the gate this time. Driver Steve Smith has been hot across the river at the Meadowlands the last couple weeks, winning some races at prices.

Race 10 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(8) MORE THAN MANY switches barns tonight, going to Bongiorno from Laterza. This mare is just one-for-27 over the last two years, and has the worst post, but hopefully the new stable has her ready. (4) CHECK MACH took all the wagering attention on 2-17 and delivered with a win. She's in for the optional claiming tag again, so she remains at the bottom level. (3) CRYSTAL SPARKLES N has run into a couple of well-meant horses in Affluent Seelster and High Rolling A since dropping into this class. Maybe this group will be more to her liking.
