Race 1 - F&M NW2/25000LT / F&M NW4/50000LT Drawn Outside Pace
(5) RHYDS ECLIPSE GB makes her U.S. debut tonight off a few solid local qualifiers with the trainer driving and now picks up Jason Bartlett's services. (4) HAILEY'S SISTER invades from Pocono off a win in their NW2 class and keeps Mark MacDonald in the bike. (2) BENICIO finished a gaining fourth at Northfield last time out and comes east. She's recently added Lasix and had some success last year in the non-wagering Florida Breeders Stakes.

Race 2 - 20000CLM Pace
(3) STATEMENT MADE A slides down from the $25,000 claimers tonight for trainer Jared Bako and gets a bit of post relief to go with it. He tossed in a clunker last time out but was racing well prior to that, and I'll look for him to rebound. (5) MARTY MONKHOUSER A won four times in five starts at this level not all that long ago and was third in a quick mile last Wednesday. (1) SHOREVIEW has hit the board in three straight outings and moves in from post seven to the pole position here.

Race 3 - NW5711L5/12500CLM Trot
(6) CANTKEEPMIASECRET drops to the bottom level in her third start of 2023 and had some trot in the stretch last Wednesday after she shook free. (3) I DA PRINCESS has burned some money at the Meadowlands and Freehold to start her 5-year-old campaign but has a trainer change to Per Engblom tonight, and that's helped plenty of horses. (4) CIEL BLEU squeezed into this race by a dollar as he has $5,710 earned in his last five tries. He had little chance in a slow-tempo'd race a week ago but did finish in 28 and change.
Race 4 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Trot
(4) BIZET has the post relief/class drop combo going for him tonight after gaining spots and ground and finishing fifth versus NW15000L5's a couple weeks ago. (6) GREG gives this level a try after grabbing a fourth in a $50,000 claimer most recently and his trainer sent out several live horses last week. (7) STICK WITH ME KID moves outside on the gate but has a win and third in two of his last three outings and kept Jordan Stratton in the bike over my top pick.
Race 5 - 3-5YO 50000CLM HCP Pace
(2) STELLAR YANKEE posted a win in this class on March 1 and should be able to get back into contention tonight as he moves in from post eight to the three-hole. (3) TOPVILLE SOMROCKET got a start over the oval on 3-21, finishing seventh in a NW6 tilt. This horse had a good enough campaign last year to make the Indiana Sires Stakes final, and he gets a driver switch to Bartlett. (4) SHIP WRECK BEACH K didn't get involved in his last appearance on the 8th of March but has a very good history at this level, including a victory three back.
Race 6 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(1) MISSION VOYAGE was in against $50,000 claimers when last seen locally, so this should be much softer spot than that, and he should also appreciate starting from the pole after having post eight in his last start at the Meadowlands. (4) BIG CHARLIE MORAN loomed from first-over last Wednesday but made a late break that cost him a dead-heat for second. He doesn't show any other miscues on his page, so I'll look for him to rebound and include. (6) VELVET STYLE managed to stay flat in both his qualifier at Pocono and race last Wednesday, so that's something to build on. He's capable of winning if he minds his p's and q's and can get involved from the outside post.
Race 7 - 50000CLM Trot
(6) TOP ME OFF faced some tough foes both here and at Pocono after winning at Yonkers on February 16. I will bank on this being a spot more to his liking, and he also gets a chance to team up with Bartlett. (4) AFTER ALL PAUL has hit the board in all of his tries date back to mid-February, and I will definitely include again. (2) VALI HANOVER picked up a fourth at this level a week ago and gets reunited with co-owner Yannick Gingras this time.
Race 8 - 25000CLM Pace
(2) PICARD A came up just a neck short of winning the last time he was in against $25,000 claimers on February 24 and drops after a couple of excuse trips versus $30,000 claimers in his last two outings. (6) PEDRO HANOVER won impressively when he slid down to this level a week ago and definitely merits consideration again. (1) DENMARK SEELSTER posted a win and two seconds at the Meadowlands after joining the Engblom barn and keeps Gingras in the bike.

Race 9 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Trot
(2) STARLIT RAMBO found the waters a little deep against NW10000L5 and NW15000L5 company lately, but he gets to drop a notch and start from an inside post tonight. (4) ZIG ZAG finished with trot off cover in his first outing of the year last Wednesday and will probably be sharper this time. (6) NO DRAMA PLEASE was in the NW15000L5 class at Yonkers to close out 2022 and returns after a second and fourth in two tries at the Meadowlands.
Race 10 - NW8081L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Trot
(1) MYCROWNMYKINGDOM enters this race off his best performance of the year so far a week ago as he finished fourth with a solid final quarter. He got into this race by $1 ($8,080 earned in his last five tries) and also has post relief. (4) LUCKY WEEKEND takes a third crack at this class after finishing second twice in it earlier this month. (3) YES moves over to this level from the $50,000 claimers and was third from post eight in this class back on the 15th of February.
