Race 1 - 20000-25000CLM HCP Pace

(3) PEDRO HANOVER drops out of the $30,000 claimers after finishing third in both of his starts since joining the Scott Di Domenico barn. I think the class relief will make the difference, and I'll give him top call. (5) MACINTOSH N was victorious two back at this level and raced well from post eight last Wednesday, finishing a close third. (1) MARTY MONKHOUSER A finished up with some late pace in the same race MACINTOSH N exits from a week ago and might try a more aggressive approach from the pole this time.

Race 2 - F&M NW8/100000LT / F&M NW6/75000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(2) HUNTRESS went three-for-three locally and four-for-four overall last fall after invading from Iowa and came back with a sharp, winning qualifier at the Meadowlands on 3-11. (5) MISS DOTTIE MAE saw her two-race win streak end last Wednesday but was just a head shy of a well-meant and well-rated foe. (1) DOC'S DELIGHT faces MISS DOTTIE MAE again here after finishing second to her on 3-8 and second in the same race she comes out of from a week ago. She shifts inside on the gate to post one tonight.

Race 3 - 50000CLM Trot

(5) SECRET BRO ended 2022 at the NW30000L5 class and was second on 12-1 to Nows The Moment, who might be the best trotter at Yonkers right now. I'll hope he's ready to fire in his first start back off the shelf and use. (4) AFTER ALL PAUL owns a win at this level back on March 1 and has hit the board in five straight races overall. (2) IN MY DREAM is also riding a streak of top-three finishes and was claimed by Dennis Laterza last Wednesday.

Race 4 - NW5351L5/12500CLM Trot

(1) JIVE NINETY FIVE scored a facile victory the last time he faced bottom level foes back in late January and picks up Matt Kakaley in the bike. (3) SWAN FINE LADY drops and moves inside on the gate and has shown the ability to wire a field at Yonkers before. (4) TESLA SEELSTER takes a second crack at NW5000L5 company here after finishing fifth a week ago and was Jordan Stratton's choice of three horses.

Race 5 - NW8101L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Trot

(1) MEMO makes his second start back after a layoff tonight and also gets some class relief after facing NW12500L5 foes over at Pocono. (2) CANTKEEPMIASECRET has a similar profile to my top pick as she also has one appearance under her belt in 2023, a fifth in a NW10500L5 contest at the Meadowlands. She was facing NW20000L5 company when last seen locally. (3) BLUEBIRD JESSE finished with some trot in a rather pace-less tilt a week ago and competes in this class for a second time.

Race 6 - NW10721L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Trot

(5) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN turned in a sharp qualifier over the oval on March 10, finishing a close second to a pacer. He returns at a lower class than he was at to conclude 2022, and I think he's worth a shot. (2) NEWSBOY invades from out of town for the sharp Per Engblom barn and had a nice run of form on the half-mile track down at Freehold earlier this year, including a victory in their Preferred Handicap. (4) STARLIT RAMBO couldn't make any headway into a slow pace last Wednesday but did hit the board in this class on February 22.

Race 7 - 50000CLM Trot

(3) GEMOLOGIST slides down from the NW30000L5/$75,000 optional claiming class tonight. This is the level where he's done his most damage, and he also gets significant post relief off his last effort. (2) EPOS OSTERVANG DK finished second in a $50,000 claimer to wrap up his 2022 campaign and qualified well at the Meadowlands on 3-11 behind a stakes-level older trotter. (6) LINDSEY'S PRIDE makes his third start out of the Di Domenico barn tonight and hopefully he can find a better trip after having to do the first-over work into a quickening tempo last Wednesday.

Race 8 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Trot

(1) ZIG ZAG gained a bunch of ground in the back-half of his qualifier over at Pocono a week ago and gets a driver switch to Kakaley in his first pari-mutuel effort of the year. (6) CIEL BLEU was second the last time he raced in this class on February 1 and returns to Yonkers after facing tougher competition at Pocono most recently. He's also recently added Lasix. (4) ARABELLA'S CADET had some trot in the stretch last Wednesday but hasn't been able to find the winner's circle in eight starts in 2023, and I'll put her underneath.

Race 9 - 3-5YO 50000CLM Pace

(3) MAKE MY DEO was competitive in this class in December of last year and returns to Yonkers off a winning effort down at Freehold. (4) COALITION HANOVER has two seconds and a win in his last three tries and was re-claimed by trainer Agostino Abbatiello after racing for Scott Di Domenico last Wednesday. (1) BETTOR SUN owns four consecutive top-three finishes and gets post relief tonight after gaining spots to grab a third a week ago.
