(2) LADY BLUE JAY moves in on the gate tonight and has gained ground in the final quarter twice against a well-meant rival in two outings since she came south from Canada. She also makes her second start on Lasix. (3) PUSSYCAT DOLL GB has a third and a second in two tries thus far in the U.S. and partners with Yannick Gingras again. (1) BE YOUR BEST comes in from Saratoga and Monticello in sharp form and departs from the pole position.

Race 2 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW1 or 15000LT Draw Inside Trot
(5) BAR KEEP DE VIE might have been well meant last week as he left out hard from the eight-hole but broke on the first turn. He catches a wide-open group tonight, drew better and gets to team up with Scott Zeron again. (2) HILLOOKIN makes his second start back after a layoff tonight and I think he meets up with a softer crew here than he did last Wednesday. (3) IHAVEADREAM DE VIE is also a second-time starter after some time on the shelf and slides in from the six-hole to post three this time.

Race 3 - F&M 20000-25000CLM HCP Pace
(1) VEL I'M A WINNER debuts for a stable that sent out a well-meant winner in his first outing from the barn last week. This mare was victorious in her most recent outing at Miami Valley, and I'll give her a shot. (7) WOODMERE HARRIET drew the far outside but drops in class and was Jason Bartlett's choice. (6) AT THE HOP is riding a two-race win streak and gets reunited with Jordan Stratton after Bartlett hopped off.
Race 4 - 20000CLM Pace
(2) PRETTY HANDSOME chased a well-meant foe that's on a win streak last week and wound up second. He gets away from that rival tonight, drew well again, and I'll give him top call. (1) MIGHTY SANTANA N rebounded from a couple of off-the-board results with a third in the same race PRETTY HANDSOME exits and moves in from post four to the pole position. (3) THRASHER was a winner at the Meadowlands on March 8 and gets to partner with Bartlett again here.
Race 5 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90985LT Trot
(6) ANTOGNONI S owns three wins and a second in four starts in the U.S. thus far and his one defeat came at the hands of an Open-type horse. He gets co-owner Gingras back in the seat for the first time in a bit tonight as well. (2) NOTTINGHAM moves in on the gate from post six to the two-hole and shows two victories and two seconds in this class. (4) PURPLE LORD hasn't won in a bit but has hit the board in five of his last six trips behind the gate. I'll include underneath.
Race 6 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot
(2) CHASING CRYSTALS merits another shot tonight as he was second last week in an improved try and moves inside on the gate this time. He also gets another chance with Scott Zeron in the bike. (6) BLOCKCHAIN dominated in his debut for trainer Ron Burke a week ago and is likely the one they'll have to beat again. (1) PAPA JOE LOZITO starts from post one and was very game on the front-end last Wednesday as he came up just a neck short of a victory.
Race 7 - 20000CLM Pace
(5) OZARK doesn't have any obvious form but he has been facing tougher claiming company in recent efforts out of town and gets a driver switch to Bartlett. (4) RECORD YEAR is riding a three-race win streak. He was claimed out of his victory a week ago but has won before out of the stable that claimed him. (2) ROCKINBILLY'SDREAM steps up from the $15,000 claimers but won impressively last Wednesday and was in sharp form at Saratoga and Monticello prior to that. He debuts for new connections off a claim.
Race 8 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot
(2) CRAZY BROTHER JIM posted a fourth-place finish last time out at Pocono and had been idle since December 7 of last year coming into that performance. He's on a regular schedule tonight and gets a driver change to Bartlett. (3) FAST APPROACH has hit the board in five straight appearances and owns a win in this class back on 2-12. (1) KELLY'S GREATEST took one unsuccessful shot against tougher company a week ago and now returns to the level where she won on the 5th of March.
Race 9 - 40000CLM Pace
(3) MACH N CHEESE hung around to post a fourth-place finish on 3-5 despite getting parked out and won in this class back on 2-10. (5) SCRIBBLERS was a winner at this level last week. He showed much more early foot in that victory and gets Gingras in the bike again. (1) MUSIC HALL had a recent three-race win streak and hasn't had much of a chance in his last two tries as he had the eight-hole both times. He moves all the way in on the gate to the pole position this time.

Race 10 - 30000CLM Pace
I'll give (2) KARLOO BRADLEY N another try this week as he was a solid second last Wednesday in his first outing back after a qualifier and shows a victory against $40,000 claimers as recently as February 12. (1) PRINCE OF TIDES starts from post one and has won three straight against $30,000 claiming company. (3) HAMMERING HANK drops from the $40,000 claiming class and posted three recent runner-up results against $40,000 or $50,000 claiming foes.
Race 11 - 15000CLM Pace
(3) GINGER TREE PETE was scratched out on 2-26 but qualified back well enough and was victorious in a $15,000 claimer on 2-19. He also gets a new driver for the first time in a bit with Brent Holland taking over. (2) SMOKIN BY N cut the fractions and wound up fourth in this class last week. He drew inside again this time and gets Gingras in the bike for a second time. (4) ROCK THIS WAY seems like maybe he's tailed off a bit but his final quarter a couple weeks ago was solid. He just needs pace to chase and a clean trip to set up his off-the-pace style.
