Race 1 - 50000CLM Trot
(6) PC FREE WHEELING faded after doing the first-over work on February 15 but was in good form before that, including a victory on 2-1, and trainer Per Engblom's horses have been red-hot. (3) AFTER ALL PAUL held on to finish third after trying a first-over attack against a well-meant P L Oscar last Wednesday. He's hit the board in two straight and moves inside a bit on the gate. (1) ALL CHAMPY has been first, second, or third in every start since early December, debuts for new connections off a claim, and slides in from the eight-hole to the pole position.

Race 2 - 3-5YO 50000-75000CLM HCP Pace
(5) GREAT SOMEWHERE ran into the sharp Certifiable a week ago and had to settle for second but avoids that foe tonight and could easily return to his winning ways. (2) SILENT SPLENDOR came in third in the event won by Certifiable a week ago, and trainer Gil Garcia-Herrera's horses look to be heating up. (4) WHAT ABOUT BOB struggled to find the winner's circle for a long time but has two wins in four starts since joining the Engblom stable.

Race 3 - NW7526L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Trot
(2) WINDSONG PIONEER gets further class relief in this spot and also moves in from post eight to the two-hole. He also gets a fresh set of hands with Brent Holland taking over. (1) KASHA V turned in a much better performance on February 15, rallying to finish in third, and was Austin Siegelman's choice of three horses. (5) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE picked up a confidence-boosting victory over bottom level foes a week ago, and trainer Ricky Bucci is riding a nice run of recent success overall.
Race 4 - 3-5YO 50000CLM Pace
(1) STELLAR YANKEE comes off a second-place finish to What About Bob last week and meets up with a beatable group here from the inside post. (2) ROCKET RUSSELL hasn't really had a chance to show what he's capable of since joining Travis Alexander's barn as he's been mired with outside draws. He slides in to the two-hole here, and perhaps a better effort will follow. (4) HURRIKANE GEORGIE has raced well in this class in the not-too-distant past and I'll toss him in the mix.
Race 5 - 25000CLM Pace
(3) STATEMENT MADE A turned in two great efforts from post eight for trainer Jared Bako and now gets considerable post relief tonight. (1) SHARK PLAY won at this claiming level on 2-10 and returns to it after one unsuccessful start against $30,000 claiming foes. (5) JK LUCKY CHARMS has prevailed in back-to-back starts and Garcia-Herrera will look to keep his hot streak going off the claim tonight.
Race 6 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(2) ARABELLA'S CADET had much better luck in the draw tonight than she's had lately as she landed an inside post. Hopefully that will be the key to a winning performance on this occasion, as she has been racing well, but without much to show for it. (5) PASS KEY drops out of higher classes in Delaware and Maryland and debuts for Engblom. I'm going to anticipate he'll take the bulk of the wagering attention. (7) BRECKENRIDGE gets a chance to meet up with bottom level horses after a strong qualifier over at Pocono.
Race 7 - F&M NW8/100000LT / F&M NW6/75000LT Drawn Inside Pace
(7) CAPTAIN'S STAR is another Bucci trainee that is extremely sharp right now. Perhaps she'll even offer a bit of inflated value given the outside post here. (1) AMERICAN HALO got the best of the draw as she starts from the pole and was third in a race won by my top choice last Wednesday. (6) LYDEO closed well to finish second to Captain's Star a week ago and had a solid stakes campaign last year that included a berth in the PA Sire Stakes final.
Race 8 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(3) FASHION FOREVER slides down to face bottom level foes here and gets post relief to go with it. His most recent win came in the corresponding class to this one at the Meadowlands on December 30. (2) FULL RIGHTS prevailed the last time he met up with NW5000L5's at Yonkers back on 11-23, and his early foot and ability to cut the fractions could take him all the way. (1) TIDQUIST has just one on-the-board result since he joined Scott Di Domenico's barn, but that did come last Tuesday at Dover.

Race 9 - NW5000L5 Pace
(3) BELTANE A closed out his mile last Wednesday with a good kick from post eight and moves to an inside draw tonight. I'll give him a chance. (5) CHIEFS BEACH rallied to finish fourth in that same event Beltane A comes out of. (1) PRO BEACH also exits that common dash with my top two selections a week ago and was a close second after cutting the fractions.
Race 10 - NW10051L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Trot
(7) LADY JETER doesn't always mind her p's and q's but can leave when she does, and I won't pass up the chance on a Bucci trainee that will probably have some value. (6) WILLY WALTON drops after two straight thirds against NW15000L5's and was in the Open as recently as January. (4) NEW HEAVEN got into this race by a dollar as he has $10,050 earned in his last five starts. He won in this class back on 1-18.
