Race 1 - F&M NW3/33000LT Pace

(5) CHELSKI finished full of pace last week to come in second to a heavy favorite in Dragon Roll, and has now shown the ability to perform well both on the lead and from behind. (7) DONOTWRITEMEOFF improved in her second start for trainer Cad Gregory last Wednesday, closing in 28 3/5. She showed more early foot out at The Meadows, so that's an option for driver Joe Bongiorno if he chooses to switch up tactics. (2) LAINIE HANOVER owns a win over the track against NW2's and had to do the hard work from first-over in a pace-less NW4 race a week ago.

Race 2 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(6) MAJESTIC KAT has been a regular participant at the Open level at several tracks over the last couple of years, so I have to think getting to race the NW5000L5's at Yonkers is a good fit as she invades from Buffalo and enters the Nick Devita barn. Matt Kakaley also picked her over another one. (5) CON AIR HALL scored his last victory in this class on 12-8 and picked up checks in his last two against NW7500L5's. (2) WINNERESS wound up getting parked last week, so I can excuse that bad line. Prior to that, he had a fourth and a second against NW5000L5's and gets reunited with Daniel Dube.

Race 3 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(3) SIR JOHN F made a rare miscue behind the gate a week ago but did trot home with interest. He's worth another shot. (4) STEALING has been a good fit in this class since coming down from Monticello as he's posted a win and a third. He wasn't George Brennan's choice tonight but gets a quality replacement in Jason Bartlett. (2) BLENHEIM moves inside tonight after a gaining third-place effort in his first chance against NW5000L5's last Wednesday.

Race 4 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(6) PITTSTOP DANIKA rallied to finish second to the well-meant Affluent Seelster a couple of weeks ago. This mare usually offers some value, and I'll put her on top in this wide-open looking race. (3) HIGH ROLLING A has won in the NW5000L5 class at Yonkers before and qualified well over the track on 2-5. She also got the nod from Jordan Stratton over a few others in here. (2) GRANT ME THIS makes her third start back after a little freshening tonight, and gets post relief. Her record is pretty win-shy, but she's definitely usable underneath.

Race 5 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(2) ABBIE'S CELTICLASS came in second against NW10000L5's at Yonkers two back and gets a chance to team with Todd McCarthy tonight. (4) HALO ITS ME hasn't shown much in her two starts for Ron Burke, but the wake-up call is probably coming tonight as she drops and draws better. (3) IN MY DREAMS sharpened his speed with a good front-end try from an outside post against NW10000L5's last Wednesday and merits consideration.

Race 6 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace

(4) ODDS ON VERO BEACH willingly chased well-meant Turnthefrownaround a week ago to finish second. She makes her second start off the bench tonight and should improve with the start under her belt. (5) OFF THE PRESS owns a win over NW4's on 1-27 and returns to that class here after a runner-up effort against NW6's on 2-10. (7) DRAGON ROLL has hit the board in all five of her starts since joining the Ricky Bucci barn, including two seconds and a third versus NW4's in December and January.

Race 7 - NW8050L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(6) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN performed very well in his Yonkers comeback a week ago, finishing third after taking the lead from first-over. He gets to drop a notch after that and looks logical. (5) GETTIN MESSI took advantage of a drop down to the NW5000L5 class to win last Wednesday. He was second against NW7500L5's a couple times in December, so he's still a threat tonight. (1) ZAGSTER closed from sixth to second in a NW7500L5 event last week and has the pole position this time.

Race 8 - F&M NW6/75000LT Pace

(5) MAN DONTFORGET ME checked in second last week in a good off-the-pace performance. She has McCarthy to drive again and gets a little bit of post relief. (4) MSAMRCASWEETHART A is three-for-three at Freehold but zero-for-two at Yonkers since coming to the U.S. Those were some quality foes she beat last time in New Jersey, so I'll include. (1) ACEFOURTYFOUR DOME lost Brennan to a Burke pupil in here, but I prefer her as she moves to the pole and gets Dube, perhaps leading to aggressive handling.

Race 9 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(2) CASH ME OUT was second to the classy Swansea in a NW15000L5 race on 2-12. He gets to drop down a notch tonight and should be tough. (6) FULL RIGHTS switches pilots from trainer Ray Schnittker to Mark MacDonald this time. Mark hasn't driven him since he won over NW8's on 12-10, and he's been facing better, too, including a shot in the Open on January 29. (3) LUCKY WEEKEND took his last victory at this level on 11-24 and starts from an improved post.

Race 10 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(3) BRONZE OVER N tried to leave from post eight on 2-11 but got parked. I see that as a sign of positive intentions with her, and I will use as she draws considerably better tonight. (1) CHASE YOU steps up off a win over NW5000L5's, but offsets the class hike by drawing the rail. I expect her to protect position and be on or near the lead. (5) THE CHARGING MOA N downed NW7500L5's when last seen on 1-28 and remains at the same level this time.
