MEET STATS: 17 - 84 / $99.30 (-$68.70) BEST BETS: 5 - 8 / $16.90 (+$0.90) SPOT PLAYS: 1 - 8 / $18.80 (+$2.80) BEST BET - SHAKE IT (4th) SPOT PLAY - REAL LUCKY N (10th) Race 1 - 15000CLM Pace (6) GINGER TREE PETE has let me down lately but I'm going to give him one more shot here as he gets a driver switch to Jason Bartlett and will hopefully be handled more aggressively with him at the controls. (1) COLD CREEK FELIPE moves in from post six to the pole position this time and just missed in a good effort behind a heavy favorite in this class a week ago. (2) URIEL BLUE CHIP also put in a solid performance in a second-place result last Wednesday and kept Anthony Napolitano over my top selection. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 20000CLM Pace (1) MEMPHISTENNESSEE N doesn't have a top-three finish in a bit but drops from the $30,000 claiming level and lands the pole here. Those factors make him worth a chance against a beatable group. (3) SHADOW IN RED has hit the board in five straight outings and won in this class on 12-18. He gets reunited with Bartlett here also. (2) RECORD YEAR defeated $20,000 claiming foes back on January 22 and gained several positions in the final quarter of his race on February 5. He slides in on the gate from the seven-hole to post two and gets a new driver in Austin Siegelman. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - 30000CLM Pace (7) IM A POWERPLAY A landed another tough post tonight but shows a couple of wins in this class and joins a hot barn off the claim. (8) THEFLYINGROCK also has a difficult draw to overcome but has hit the board in three straight and five of seven overall. (5) MUSIC HALL enters with consecutive victories over age-restricted $30,000 claimers. He faces open company here but did lure Bartlett off the Per Engblom-trained THEFLYINGROCK, which is usually significant. Race 4 - 15000CLM Pace (1) SHAKE IT took one shot against $20,000 claimers and was fourth. Here, he drops back down to the level where he won two in-a-row on 1-29 and 2-5. (4) DELIGHTFUL TERROR owns two recent victories in this class and has finished in the trifecta in four of his last five appearances overall. (6) BIG SIR posted a third against $15,000 claiming company two back and faced tougher NW5000L5 rivals last time. He also gets reunited with Bartlett tonight. Race 5 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot (3) NOTTINGHAM prevailed in this class two back and closed well from the eight-hole in a subsequent outing. He gets reunited with Jim Marohn Jr. tonight from a much better post and hails from a hot stable. (5) QUEEN OF AMERICA S won impressively in two tries over at the Meadowlands and will likely be heavily-favored in this contest like she was across the river. (2) DRAW THE LINE should be tighter tonight with both a qualifier and a start under her belt now, and she slides in from post six to the two-hole in her second outing for trainer/driver Pat Lachance. Race 6 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot Like I did back in race one, I'm going to give a horse another chance tonight, and that's (2) THE THING IS. I feel one of these times he's going to rally past them in the lane as he continues to close out his miles well. (4) KORIANDER SISU S was a winner at this level when last seen back on 1-29 and has been out of the exacta just once in his last seven appearances in total. (6) MUSICAL RIDE is another sharp horse in this event as he's hit the board in five consecutive tries dating back to December 11. Race 7 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (2) CHILLIN BYTHE POOL gained some ground in the lane after angling out last week and drew well again here in a field where the best horse in stuck with a poor post. (8) BEANTOWN BABE is that best horse, but she has to overcome the eight-hole. Given she hasn't had an outside draw in a while, I'll take a shot against her, though her form stands out. (4) LAZIN ON THE BEACH just missed after cutting most of the mile a week ago. She'd been off nearly a month coming into that affair and debuts for new connections off a claim. Race 8 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (2) CAVIART IRISH LUCK broke on the first turn after she gunned to the front last week, but recovered and raced well in a third-place finish. I will put her on top here in the hopes another miscue can be avoided. (5) IDITOROD returns to action tonight with Lasix added. He won a qualifier with that medication at Pocono on 2-11 and is a recent addition to the Travis Alexander stable. (4) KELLY'S GREATEST was a good second to a heavy favorite in this class a week ago and finished ahead of my top selection in that tilt. Race 9 - 40000CLM Pace (2) DELESTON was fourth when he dropped down to this level on 2-10. It seems like they've been taking turns beating each other in this class since the meet began, and I'll give him a swing from another inside draw. (6) KARLOO BRADLEY N got the job done in the $40,000 claiming event a week ago and hails from a barn that's putting a lot of live horses on the oval right now. (7) BAD BOY TOO tired in the lane last week but was coming into that tilt off a sick scratch. He was sharp prior to that scratch and gets a driver switch to Tyler Buter. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 10 - 15000CLM Pace (3) REAL LUCKY N finally drew well tonight after a series of outside posts, and hopefully that means he'll be put in play. He was third in this class on 1-29 and then closed well in a fourth-place effort after that. I'll just toss his last try a week ago as he had the eight-hole and never got involved. (1) ITALIAN DELIGHT N had the good fortune to draw in off the also-eligible list. He's usually a threat when he shows up and was boxed in with pace last Wednesday. (5) ALOTBETTOR N returns to action off a good qualifier at Pocono and shows a pair of victories over tougher $20,000 claimers in October and November. Race 11 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (6) MIKI THE CLOWN makes her second start for these connections, and she gained spots and ground in the final quarter of her mile a week ago. She just missed by a nose at this level on 1-28 and will get top call. (4) IRON MISTRESS has four victories and a second as part of her last seven tries and won on the front-end a week ago. (3) LINE EM UP was positioned off-the-pace last Wednesday and didn't threaten. She showed way more speed off the gate prior to that in a pair of good efforts and debuts for new connections off a claim.
