Race 1 - 15000CLM Pace

(3) GINGER TREE PETE gets some post relief here and after racing from off-the-pace a week ago, I'm going to bank on them switching back to more aggressive tactics. (5) ITALIAN DELIGHT N turned in a poor effort in his first outing of 2025 but has been sharp in back-to-back efforts since then and should be in the hunt again. (6) DELIGHTFUL TERROR held sway on the front-end to score in a $15,000 claimer last Wednesday and has also shown the ability to get the job done from off-the-pace.

Race 2 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot

(4) THE THING IS finished with plenty of trot in the stretch a week ago in this class. He did gap just a bit on the far turn, which probably cost him the win, but hopefully that issue can be rectified tonight. (3) CHIPPER DALE owns a victory at this level on January 29 and has been sharp overall for a lengthy period of time. (7) FAST APPROACH turned in a game effort from first-over to get second in the same race my top pick exits from last Wednesday.

Race 3 - F&M 20000CLM Pace

(3) LAZIN ON THE BEACH was in good form to end 2024 at Yonkers and I can excuse her two 2025 efforts thus far at the Meadowlands as she suffered bad shuffles in both outings. (1) TERACITA makes her second start back after some time off and moves inside on the gate to boot. She owns a victory in this class on September 10 of last year. (6) FIGHT NOT FLIGHT got in traffic trouble at the Meadowlands on January 31 or that result could have been better. She shows four recent 27 and change final quarters over at The Big M, which I like to see.

Race 4 - 20000CLM Pace

(8) KOOTENAY SANTANNA starts from the outside post but cruised to victory last week for a hot barn, and I'll bank on him being handled aggressively. (1) SHADOW IN RED has been first or second in his last four efforts and moves inside on the gate to the pole position. (4) MIGHTY SANTANA N struggles to find the winner's circle but is on an extended run of results in the top three, and I'll toss him in underneath again.

Race 5 - 15000CLM Pace

(2) KERFORD ROAD A landed post two here, a significant improvement off the seven-hole he started from in his comeback a week ago. I thought he had some pace in the stretch of that race and merits another chance tonight. (1) URIEL BLUE CHIP burned some money in his last two outings over at the Meadowlands but has won at Yonkers before, starts from post one, and hails from a high-percentage stable. (3) SNOUZE U LOUZE tallied at Yonkers in mid-December and hit the board twice at this level in January.

Race 6 - 15000CLM Pace

(1) ON THE VIRG has won four straight in this class and has only been defeated when he's bumped up to face $20,000 claimers. Add in that he starts from post one, and he'll get top call. (4) ROCK THIS WAY kept his form spree going with another victory a week ago and has been outside the trifecta just once in his last seven appearances overall. (5) HECANDANCEANDCRUISE owns a win at this level back on January 22 and went a long way on the front-end last Wednesday in the tilt won by ROCK THIS WAY.

Race 7 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot

Extremely wide-open group here so I'm going to take a flyer on (7) BAR KEEP DE VIE, who is making his second start back after missing all of 2024. He was competitive against NW3/NW4 types before he went on the sidelines and will have to look far to find a field softer than this. (3) ALEXANDER gained spots and ground in the final quarter of his third-place result on January 29 and does have a win over NW3's at Harrah's Philadelphia on Halloween. (1) HL OLMAYA has a much better post tonight than she's had in recent efforts at Yonkers and did finish second at this level on 12-18.

Race 8 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot

(3) FINITE went down the road to win last week, and given he was racing well over at the Meadowlands prior to that, I'll put him on top again. (1) LUCKY MUM N racked up another on-the-board result in this class a week ago and starts from post one again. (7) FULL SCALE scored at this level last Wednesday and has hit the board in all three of his tries thus far in 2025.

Race 9 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot

(5) CAVIART IRISH LUCK invades from the Meadowlands and I think she's been facing better. She was second to Finite, my top selection in race eight, two starts back on 1-17. (2) EMBRACE THE FUTURE is two-for-two in this class so far in 2025 and starts from another inside post. (1) KELLY'S GREATEST moves from post eight to the pole position tonight and had a couple of on-the-board results at the NW5 level at Harrah's Philadelphia in December.

Race 10 - F&M 20000CLM Pace

(1) TYRA MAKES BANK closed with pace in a third-place finish in this class last week and moves in on the gate from the seven-hole to the pole position. (5) LINE EM UP was second on 1-29 and then tallied on the front-end last Wednesday. She does move out on the gate a bit but her good early speed should still put her in play. (2) IRON MISTRESS shows three victories and two other on-the-board finishes in this class since mid-November and starts from another inside post.

Race 11 - 40000CLM Pace

(2) BAD BOY TOO missed his last scheduled start on 1-29 due to sickness but was sharp prior to that, and hopefully that will continue here. (1) JUSTASEC N starts from post one again and hasn't been outside of the trifecta in three outings so far in 2025. (7) SCRIBBLERS drew poorly but has a victory and a third in his last two efforts at this level.
