Race 1 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace

(3) UPTOWN CALLIE turned in a useful qualifier against some stout foes at the Meadowlands, and given the run the Paul Stafford barn is on right now, I'll give her a shot in this pretty wide-open NW2 dash. (5) CHELSKI gets Todd McCarthy to come up for one drive on the card after gaining ground in the last quarter in her debut for trainer Tom Shay at Freehold. (6) DONOTWRITEMEOFF invades from The Meadows where she was two-for-three, and she also posted a victory at Hollywood Dayton prior to that. She might be the one to beat.

Race 2 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(2) LUCKY ARNOLD has been pretty sharp in his last two, finishing second from first-up and gaining from an impossible spot on 1-27. He returns to an inside post here and looks usable. (1) TORKIL gets the pole position tonight and is reunited with Jason Bartlett, probably leading to a well-meant effort. (8) SIR JOHN F drops down to the NW5000L5 class after getting parked last time out against NW7500L5's. His poor luck at the draw continues, but if they left with him from post seven on January 27, I have to think similar tactics might be coming this time.

Race 3 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(4) WINNERESS wound up fourth after having to do the first-over work when he dropped to this level a couple weeks ago. I will hope for a different trip tonight and give him another chance at what should be better odds. (3) SKYWAY TINACIOUS was a solid second two back when she raced closer to the pace. She gets a bit of post relief tonight, so Buter might have her more prominent in the early stages here. (1) WHETHER OR NOT FI owns most of his career wins at Yonkers and returns from the Midwest at the bottom level from post one for Bartlett and trainer Andrew Harris. Those are all positive factors in his favor, but given his slow last quarters in his last two at Miami Valley, I will try and beat him.

Race 4 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(3) CABOWABOCUTTIE owns no wins since Halloween night of 2019, but she picks up Bartlett tonight, and some of trainer Ricky Bucci's other horses have been firing. Nobody in this race is in great form, so I'll give her an opportunity. (1) SEA CHANGE N hit the board against a much tougher-looking group of NW5000L5's two weeks ago and merits respect as she shifts to the pole. (6) GRANT ME THIS was fourth in her first start of 2021 on 1-27. While just one-for-30 last year, she was second or third 13 times, so I will use her underneath.

Race 5 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(2) ARABELLA'S CADET put in two good miles against NW11500L5's at the Meadowlands to start 2021 and then tired when she had to do the first-over work on 1-22. I'll look for her to rebound tonight as Joe Bongiorno takes back over the driving. (3) CLARION HALL was second or third in all of his chances against NW7500L5's on the page in November and December, and he returns to the class tonight. (1) DIRTY SECRET took one shot against NW10000L5's and now slides back down to the level of her win on 1-20. Trainer Ken Koch is having a strong start to the meet.

Race 6 - F&M NW6/75000LT / NW4/50000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(3) MAN DONTFORGET ME ran into the likes of Demeter N and North Star Ideal since coming down from Canada, but still managed to finish third and then second. Nobody in here looks like the quality of those two, so she should probably take advantage. (1) OFF THE PRESS ground out a game first-over win against NW4's on 1-27. She has the pole position and kept the hot-driving Jordan Stratton in the bike tonight. (4) MOANING LISA has hit the board in six of her last seven, including a second and a win here at Yonkers.

Race 7 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(3) SWANS HONEY receives both post and class relief tonight. The last time she raced against NW7500L5's, she had trot, but was locked in on the inside. (1) CON AIR HALL had some luck at the draw this time after having posts six and seven in his last pair. When he started inside on 12-8 and 12-22, he won and finished third. (4) LIFETIME ROYALTY qualified well at the Meadowlands, holding off a classy foe in Kenziesky Hanover, and anything coming out of the Stafford barn merits inclusion on your tickets.

Race 8 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

I had (2) ANN HILL on top in her last appearance on 1-28 when she faced NW7500L5's. She never got involved from post six that night, but slides inside and drops to the bottom level here, so I have to give her another shot. (5) AFFLUENT SEELSTER is another contender out of the Stafford barn tonight as she also moves down from the NW7500L5 class and won the last time she met up with NW5000L5's. (1) PITTSTOP DANIKA should appreciate getting to start from the pole position after having the eight-hole in her last two efforts, and she gets another chance with Stratton driving.

Race 9 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(4) WINDSONG PIONEER moves up in class tonight, but he absolutely jogged over that NW7500L5 group two weeks ago, and is another Stafford pupil who could definitely find the winner's circle. (5) ZOOMING probably needs some additional class relief before he's a win threat, but he did finish second at this level on 1-13. (1) THE LAST CHAPTER will get his share of attention as he moves to the pole, reunites with Bartlett, and makes his second start back off a layoff.

Race 10 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace

(2) SOMEBEACHSOMEFRA posted wins in this class two and three starts back and gets to start from post two rather than the seven-holes she's had in her last pair. (3) TURNTHEFROWNAROUND gained ground and positions against NW7500L5's at the Meadowlands in her last try and trainer Ron Burke has been racking up wins at Yonkers so far in 2021. (5) SPECIAL ACHIEVER out-raced her odds on 1-20, finishing second at 75-1. She has Stratton to drive again, and has shown a versatile racing style.
