Race 1 - NW5077L5 Pace

(6) ROLL WITH JR doesn't have much in the way of current form but drops down to the bottom level tonight and gets to team up with Joe Bongiorno for sister Jenn. I'll give him a shot. (2) HERRICKROOSEVELT N can definitely win this race with a good performance, but it feels like he's going to be very overbet with the driver switch to Yannick Gingras and although he did have traffic issues last time, I didn't think he had much pace. (5) AMERICAN WAY gets to start from a mid-pack post here after having outside draws in his last three attempts and makes his second appearance against NW5000L5 base class rivals.

Race 2 - F&M NW6/75000LT Pace

(1) WAITFOREVER N has two straight victories at this level and moves inside on the gate to the pole to aid her chances tonight. (3) AMERICAN HALO raced well to finish second to Waitforever N a week ago, and I will bank on the same result happening again here. (7) FLIP THE SCRIPT finished second in a NW6 event the last time she competed at Yonkers and gets a chance to partner with Gingras tonight.

Race 3 - 3&4YO 40000CLM Pace

(3) HE'S GONNA GETYA gained spots and ground from bad posts in his last pair and drew inside here. I think he merits a chance. (1) MAKE MY DEO has been knocking on the door both here and at Harrah's Philadelphia and will probably break through one of these times. (4) HURRIKANE GEORGIE kept the good times rolling with his third straight victory a week ago and gets to start again from the Dennis Laterza barn as he wasn't claimed.

Race 4 - NW6290L5/12500CLM Trot

(6) TIDQUIST couldn't make up any ground last Wednesday like he did the week before that, but he makes his first start for trainer Scott Di Domenico after being claimed, and I'll give him another shot. (5) NEW HEAVEN squeezed into this race by a dollar since he has $6,289 earned in his last five attempts, and I'm sure the connections would like to take advantage of a chance to face bottom level foes. (7) TESLA SEELSTER just missed after taking the lead from first-over a week ago and gets to meet NW5000L5 base class rivals for the second time tonight.

Race 5 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace

(2) BLUEBERRY SHAKE landed an inside post tonight after a couple of tough draws since the sick scratch on 11-9 and meets up with a pretty wide-open group here. (4) ODDS ON VETO POWER ships in from Freehold where she was victorious last time out in her third attempt for trainer Deborah Daguet. She got the nod from Dan Dube over my top pick. (1) JE T'AIME N finished third in this class two back and gets reunited with Jason Bartlett from the pole on this occasion.

Race 6 - 50000CLM Trot

(1) GEMOLOGIST broke a couple weeks ago, but hopefully that was just an issue with having post eight as he was very sharp prior to that, drops from the $75,000 claimers to the $50,000 level and drew the pole. (4) WILLY WALTON retuned to his winning ways on 11-23, converting from the pocket. George Brennan isn't here tonight, so he gets reunited with Jim Marohn Jr. (2) CAVALIER GEORGE took an amateur event in handy fashion the last time he was at Yonkers back in October and returns here after racing in the Preferred at Freehold since then. I'll include in the hopes he can offer some value underneath.

Race 7 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(6) IM THE MUSCLE hit the board twice at this level in October and again in his last try on 11-9 and should offer way more value than either (5) BIZET or (2) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE, who are both dropping out of $75,000 claimers. The former gets a chance to partner with Bartlett for the first time in a bit, while the latter won over NW7500L5's at Yonkers two back.

Race 8 - 3&4YO 40000CLM Pace

(2) STELLAR YANKEE comes over from Pennsylvania where he's been meeting up with hard-knocking older foes in NW10000L5 to NW14000L5 contests. I think he'll appreciate getting to face age-restricted claiming foes here. (1) CERTIFIABLE left from post five last week but ended up getting parked and predictably tired. He landed the pole this time, so I would expect a much smoother journey is coming, and that was an impressive victory over NW4-7 company at Pocono on 11-12. (5) SHIP WRECK BEACH K should have a chance to get back on track tonight as he gets to move inside on the gate after having the eight-hole and the seven-hole in his last two outings.

Race 9 - 50000CLM Trot

(5) BIG BAD SWAN ended up second-best last Wednesday after going a long way on the lead. Marohn Jr. steered this horse to a victory on 11-2 and gets back in the seat tonight with Brennan absent. (4) IN MY DREAMS suffered a tough beat of his own after cutting the fractions in a separate $50,000 claiming trot a week ago and gets some post relief tonight. (3) CREDIT CON was the one who downed In My Dreams by a nostril last week and picks up Joe Bongiorno for Jenn on this occasion.
