Race 1 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(1) SHARED INTEREST A has been racing well in recent amateur events. Tonight he gets a shot with Jordan Stratton and has the pole. (7) MOMM'S MY DAD drops out of the NW7500L5's, and sometimes finding the bottom level is all it takes to wake a horse up. He was second the last time he raced in this class on October 20 of last year. (3) DA BOOGIE MAN lost Stratton's services here but has a second and a fourth in two chances this year.

Race 2 - NW7625L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(5) BIZET cruised to a win at Freehold in his first start of 2022 and was facing way better than these when he was racing at Yonkers last fall. (4) IN MY DREAMS was a good second to a well-meant winner a week ago and gets to slide down a notch here. (7) TIMESTORM ships down from Canada off a win for trainer Carmen Auciello, who is enjoying a strong start to the year. I will include.

Race 3 - F&M NW4/50000LT / F&M NW2/25000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(7) AINT SHE PERFECT probably needed that race last Wednesday given the gap in her schedule. I'll bank on improvement in her second start for trainer Nick Devita and swing. (3) KATHY'S MOMENT beat NW2's here impressively on December 8, but she hasn't raced since 12-17 and missed out on qualifying at Yonkers on the 21st of January since they were cancelled. (5) DASHINTOTHEBEACH N owns a prior victory over NW4's on November 3 of last year and has had a trainer change since her last try.

Race 4 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(3) CHIEF JUSTICE likely aimed too high last week racing against $50,000 claimers. This is a more reasonable spot here, especially based on his second-place result against NW10000L5's at Harrah's Philadelphia on 12-30. (2) IT AINT THE WHISKY gets significant post relief in his second try of 2022 and will likely be closer to the action. (1) TOTAL DIVA has definitely struggled in her last two, but she got the pole, drops in class, and has Stratton to drive again. She was second at this level on December 15.

Race 5 - NW11150L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(7) AB'SATTITUDEXPRESS might just have too much class for the rest of these since she's a stakes-caliber mare, and she's won over half-mile tracks before. (5) STONE IN LOVE overcame post eight to finish fourth on January 14 and gets to drop and move inside on the gate tonight. (2) STICK WITH ME KID was one of several winners sent out by trainer Travis Alexander a week ago. He does move up a notch here, but he turned in a powerful performance from the outside post in his victory.

Race 6 - 25000CLM Pace

(6) JOJO'S PLACE faced $40,000 claimers in his first start of 2022 and then was too far back a week ago. I think he's worth another shot here, and hopefully at a bit better price. (5) STARK HANOVER enters this race with back-to-back second-place finishes and has shown the ability to hit the board both on the front-end and after stalking the pace. (8) MY MIND IS MADEUP has been second or third in his last four tries. It's not usually the style of these connections to take back, so I expect him to blast out from here.

Race 7 - 50000CLM Trot

(2) LUCKY MATTER scored for Travis Alexander last Wednesday in game fashion from first-over. If anything, he catches a softer group in the same class tonight, and I'll put him on top. (4) MAJESTIC MARVEL was third in the race won by my top pick a week ago and has a driver switch to Jason Bartlett tonight. (5) DC ANNA has finished second against $50,000 claimers before and could be sharper tonight since it's her second start of the year.

Race 8 - F&M NW8/100000LT / F&M NW6/75000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(5) BEST HEAD WEST wrapped up 2021 with four straight victories, and though she hasn't raced yet this year, I will bank on Devita having her ready to go and put on top. (4) BITTY BITTY keeps racking up wins and was ultra-impressive again last Wednesday. (3) ANDRA DAY came in second to Bitty Bitty a week ago and is usable.

Race 9 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(7) HAMMER CREEK gets a shot with Stratton here and drops to the bottom level. This appears to be a fairly wide-open race, and I think he's worth a swing at what should be a decent price. (3) CON AIR HALL has class relief here in his fourth start for these connections and has Joe Bongiorno to drive. (1) MY BOY CHRISTIAN was fourth against NW7500L5's a week ago and gets to face NW5000L5's tonight.
