Race 1 - 3&4YO 40000CLM Pace

(1) SILENT SPLENDOR is very sharp and had an excuse on 12-7 as he was bothered by a breaker and pushed very wide. He starts from the pole here, and I'll back him. (3) PBR STREET GANG moves inside on the gate tonight after gaining several spots in the final quarter a week ago. (6) CAVIART SARGENT has been battling open $50,000 claimers recently and faces age-restricted company tonight. He was third as the 1-2 favorite the last time he raced in this class on 10-8.

Race 2 - 50000CLM Trot

(4) BIG BAD SWAN has been a little off form in his last couple, but he's always capable in this class with a solid effort and should offer some value. (3) STEUBEN HANOVER finished second in his last try a couple of weeks ago and gets another chance with Yannick Gingras in the bike. (5) ALL CHAMPY hasn't gotten much pace to chase from off the speed in his last two starts. He did show more early foot in the past, so a change in tactics is always possible.

Race 3 - F&M NW7/75000LT Pace

(3) FRANTASY HANOVER worked hard for her money last Wednesday as she got parked without cover the whole way but overcame it to win. That was a very impressive performance, but hopefully she'll have a better trip here. (2) CLEAR THE WAY has missed the board just once in her lines and handled the hike up to NW6's just fine a week ago by finishing second. (7) COMMANDER CATHY N delivered the goods as the odds-on choice last week and is probably the one to beat again here, though she's picked up just two victories in the U.S. so far.

Race 4 - 50000CLM Trot

(4) VALI HANOVER drops out of tougher spots tonight and gets reunited with co-owner/driver Yannick Gingras. (3) BLUEBIRD JESSE has hit the board in all of his chances since going to trainer Jared Bako and drew well again here. (6) IN MY DREAMS crunched $50,000 claimers a couple of weeks ago and hasn't been out of the exacta in three straight tries.

Race 5 - NW5347L5/12500CLM Trot

(3) JEKYIL N HYDE did some good work at Yonkers earlier this year in the NAADA amateur series. He makes his third start back after a layoff tonight, gets a driver switch to Joe Bongiorno, and has post relief too after a pair of outside draws at Freehold. (4) MANWILLING drops out of tougher spots in Pennsylvania and shows a third against NW7000L5's two back at Harrah's Philadelphia. (2) BLOGMASTER has two straight thirds against NW5000L5's at the Meadowlands and gets another chance with Gingras piloting.

Race 6 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(4) BAZILLIONAIRE owns just a one-for-66 win record over the last two years but finished fourth against tougher $50,000 claimers in his last two tries at Yonkers before having a difficult journey at the Meadowlands. (4) LOOK IN MY EYES dominated NW5000L5's last Wednesday and doesn't meet up with anyone very imposing here. (1) MIDNIGHT MIRACLE hasn't made much of an impact since coming south from Canada but drops out of the $75,000 and $50,000 claimers and moves back to the pole position.

Race 7 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace

(1) FOX VALLEY CACHET finally drew well after a series of outside starts and owns a win over NW4's back in mid-October. (5) CAPTAIN'S STAR debuts for trainer Ricky Bucci off a solid local qualifier and has been out of the top three just twice this year. (3) MISS DOTTIE MAE makes her second start back here after a brief layoff and gets reunited with Jim Marohn Jr.

Race 8 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(2) BEERTHIRTY K raced in the Open at Yonkers as recently as 11-10 and returns in a soft spot tonight after making his last two starts at Saratoga. (3) SUMATRA has gotten sharper as the year has gone on and came up just a head short of a win at this level back on October 19. (1) TOP ME OFF invades from Harrah's Philadelphia with three straight top two finishes and drew the rail to help his cause.

Race 9 - 3&4YO 40000CLM Pace

(5) STATE SENATOR cruised to a win over open $25,000 claimers on 12-9 and meets up with age-restricted rivals here for trainer Scott Di Domenico off a claim. (8) ROSE RUN X-CON has great form and was able to finish third from post seven on 11-23, so I'll include. (3) SHIP WRECK BEACH K seems like he's tailed off a bit since that hot streak he was on in October and November, but he does get some post relief.
