(1) SAWYER'S DESIRE romped in this class on 10-8 and gets reunited with Jason Bartlett from post one. (8) TIN ROOF RAIDER A will have to overcome the eight-hole, but he was able to do so on October 8. He wasn't Bartlett's choice but gets a solid replacement in Tyler Buter. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (2) COALFORDSNSHINE GB slides down from the $25,000 claimers and gets significant post relief to go with it as she's had the seven-hole or the eight-hole in her last four outings. (3) KAT has hit the board in three straight and owns a win at this level on October 7. (1) GINGER TREE LIZ slides in on the gate from post seven to the pole position and gets a driver switch to Bartlett in her second try for a high-percentage stable. Race 3 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (7) HIGHLANDSTARBURST drew a poor post but drops out of stakes company and won her Pennsylvania Sire Stakes final on 9-6. I just think she's too classy for these as long as she doesn't have any issues staying on-stride. (5) SEISMIC STEP won handily in this class on 10-15 and returns to Yonkers off a fourth-place result in a stakes race at Harrah's Philadelphia. (2) THEOBALD broke last Wednesday but this is his second try for trainer Ron Burke and he gets some post relief. (3) DOC'S LOVE had a win and a third at this level back in September and qualified well last week at Pocono. (4) CRYSTAL COAST comes in on a six-race streak of finishes in the trifecta and was a winner at Yonkers two back. Race 5 - 15000CLM Pace (4) CENTURY GIGALO comes south from Ontario for an owner who has sent several horses south of the border recently that have done well. He doesn't have the greatest form but doesn't meet up with the toughest group either. (2) THEFLYINGROCK was a gining fourth in his first start back after a layoff last week. He gets post relief and a driver change to Bartlett here. (1) CAVIART SKIPPER has hit the board in two straight appearances and shifts back inside to the pole position. Race 6 - 25000CLM Pace (3) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N looked like he had pace on 10-23 but had nowhere to go with it in the lane. I'll give him another shot here in the hopes he has a clean journey. (1) ALTA CLASSIC A drops again out of the $30,000 claimers and moves in from the seven-hole to post one. (5) BURNHAM BOY N had a poor result on 10-9 but has been sharp for an extended stretch other than that. Race 7 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot (1) GREEN MEL looks like a standout in here based on his second-place finish to a sharp foe at this level most recently. Add in that he starts from the pole, and he appears to be the one to go with. (4) THE THING IS hasn't hit the board in his last four tries, but he has gained ground in the stretch in his last pair of efforts, and I'll toss him in underneath. (5) ALIMONY MIKE steps up but does so off a win in his local debut, and he also shows two recent victories at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Race 8 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (4) MELTDOWN MONTE didn't show much at Pocono in two October starts but go back to his last local try on 9-27 and it was a victory in this class. (5) LOU'S BEACH has hit the board in four of his last five trips behind the gate and owns a win at this level on 10-2. He also gets to slide in a couple of notches on the gate. (7) EVER M overcame a parked-out trip to grab a third against open $20,000 claimers a week ago and won against age-restricted $20,000 claiming company prior to that. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9 - 15000CLM Pace (1) MAJOR POCKET A turned in another quality effort last week and as often as he's been knocking on the door lately, you have to think he's going to break through. (4) DIAMONDBEACH won two straight with Bartlett on 10-8 and 10-16 and he returns to the bike here after an off-the-pace effort a week ago. (7) TAKE A CLOSER LOOK comes east into Travis Alexander's stable off a victory at Hollywood Dayton most recently, and Alexander had a bunch of success with this horse a year ago against tougher foes than this. Race 10 - F&M NW2/30000LT Pace (1) BE MY PRINCESS A debuts for leading trainer Per Engblom here against a pretty blank field and shows a victory against NW2 company at Scioto on July 23. (3) HOBBY GONE CRAZY cut the fractions and wound up second in this class a week ago and was also third-placed-second at Dayton prior to that. She makes her third start for trainer Virgil Morgan Jr. here.
