Race 1 - 25000CLM Pace
(1) MY MIND IS MADEUP had a rough trip on 11-10 and was unable to threaten. He did close in 27 4/5, though, so I think he was well-meant, and he was claimed by Scott Di Domenico. Let's see if George Brennan might be able to coax a little more early speed out of him. (2) SOUTHWIND ONYX drops out of the $30,000 claimers and has hit the board in four of his last seven tries. (4) SEAFARER picks up Jordan Stratton in the bike this week and makes his third start back from a layoff.

Race 2 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace
(1) ALUMNI SEELSTER comes down from Canada and joins the Ron Burke barn. Her one win this year came on the half-mile oval at Grand River Raceway, and hopefully that carries over to Yonkers. (5) IDEAL HANNAH raced very well in her debut for trainer Travis Alexander last Thursday and switches back to the NW4 class here. Matt Kakaley isn't driving tonight, so Austin Siegelman gets a shot with her. (7) DASHINTOTHEBEACH N ran into a well-meant winner a week ago and had to settle for second. She's been outside the top three just once since coming from Down Under, and I think is usable.

Race 3 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(3) PRESIDENTE ZETTE was facing much better than these before switching to the amateur driving races. He exits that competition tonight and gets reunited with George Brennan. (1) P C FOREIGN AFFAIR doesn't own a great win record, but he starts from the pole and has Jordan Stratton back to drive. They were second together on 11-3. (4) MAJESTIC MARVEL isn't always reliable as far as remaining on-stride, but when he has, he just missed by a nose at Pocono on 10-30. Maybe Jason Bartlett will have better luck with him.
Race 4 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace
(1) J ROCKIN B is a firster off the claim for Jenn Bongiorno tonight. I'll look for some improvement on that angle and slot her on top. (4) FREE EXCHANGE is in great form with six straight first- or second-place results and didn't have any issue with the hike up to this optional claiming class on 11-11. (6) LARJON LEAH takes a second shot at the NW7500L5's tonight. She's going to partner with Dan Dube here, which probably signals an aggressive approach again.
Race 5 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot
(2) LIFETIME ROYALTY seems to be rounding back into solid shape lately, and I don't mind that he gets a chance with Dube tonight as they've had success together before. (4) YANKS DUGOUT came up sick on 11-10 and had to be scratched. I'll trust that Burke has him ready here, and the way he closed against NW15000L5's back on October 29 should make him a big threat at this level. (3) BRIDGE WORKS has been a regular in the Open at Saratoga since the summer. This is probably a good spot for him, and he picks up a new set of hands with Joe Bongiorno doing the steering.
Race 6 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace
(1) BUMP IN THE ROAD finished second to an impossible-to-catch winner a week ago. She makes her second start back off the shelf here and should be sharper. (4) NEVER NOT DANCING has posted back-to-back third-place results and teams up with Scott Zeron tonight. (5) MARCED DEBUTANTE missed the board here on 10-6 and 10-27 but seems to have picked up her game based on her last two efforts at Harrah's Philadelphia.
Race 7 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(5) HAT TRICK MARLEAU drew the attention of Yannick Gingras, who bought him out of the recent mixed sale in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He goes into the Burke barn and gets Brennan, and I'll swing with him. (4) MISS YOU KELLY scored her last win in this class on September 15 and has Stratton to drive this time. (6) BRILLIANT BOB drops to the bottom level tonight and seems a little overdue for a better performance.
Race 8 - 30000CLM Pace
(7) ROCK N TONY prevailed for these connections the last time he was in against $30,000 claimers for them on October 18, and he might offer some value. (6) GINGER TREE PETE found the $40,000 claimers a bit too steep in his last couple, but he gets some relief here, and I always watch for trainer Ken Koch's horses when they're driven by Bongiorno like this horse tonight. (3) HASH-TAG SWAG had to do the first-over work a week ago, and he wasn't as good as he was on November 8. He was claimed by Cory Stratton out of that race, so Jordan goes in the bike this time.
Race 9 - 50000CLM Trot
(7) STICK WITH ME KID advanced from eighth to fifth in the last quarter a week ago, and as I've mentioned other times, Joe Bongiorno has a knack for taking advantage of getting to drive for good barns like he does here with Travis Alexander. (5) ON HIGHER GROUND rallied to a pretty easy win in this class last Thursday and has Zeron to pilot him again. (4) VAINQUEUR R P NO is sure to attract plenty of attention as he worked his way up to the Open level at Hollywood Dayton and is now in the high-percentage Gareth Dowse barn. He was Bartlett's choice in this race, too.
Race 10 - 25000CLM Pace
(3) DING DING DINGER aimed pretty high in his first start in from Pocono as he was at the $40,000 claiming level on 11-15. He drops two notches tonight and gets post relief as well. (5) MISTER SPOT A doesn't have to overcome post eight here like he was saddled with on November 10, and that may allow Brennan to go back to aggressive tactics. (1) LIFEWITHJOHN has an inside post for the first time since the 20th of October and also adds Stratton in the bike.

Race 11 - F&M NW8/100000LT / NW6/75000LT Drawn Inside Pace
(1) THEBEACHISCALLING returns to overnight action tonight after finishing fourth in the Matron at Dover on 11-11. She had little difficulty winning twice at Yonkers prior to that, and she landed the pole position here to boot. (4) TENTHOUSAND ANGELS turned in an improved performance a week ago to finish a gaining third. (8) MARSALA HANOVER gets out of stakes company for the first time since July. She'd look a lot more intriguing if she'd drawn a good post, but I will include.
Race 12 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot
(6) EVA DAIRPET FR stomped a group of NW5000L5's in her second start for trainer Izzy Estrada a week ago. She does lose Dube as he co-owns the #2 horse in this race, but Tyler Buter is a suitable replacement. (4) SEVEN KNIGHTS won easily the last time he raced in this class back on September 8. (3) KANDY SWEET responded to the drop to this level with a solid second-place finish last Wednesday and is certainly usable.
